Anyone else getting random data drop offs? Happens a lot for me. I see data and all my bars for a few seconds. I am on latest release of CM7 with latest radio that works with it.

Mine did this but only because I had juicedefender. The data would get stuck and the phone trying to fix the problem would restart the whole process android.phone. I would imagine this would happen with any data toggling service. Hope this helped

Hi I have ATRIX on T-Mobile and froyo 2.2 my phone is not moddified in any way and keeps dropping the wifi every couple of minutes. I have heard that soon 2.3 will be out for T-Mobile and may fix this problem. Is this true and is there a way to fix now?
Thanks

So I reset my phone to 1.22.651.3 and didn't take OTA yet because I need to re-lock bootloader and whatevs, but whenever I use my navigation via google, the thing crashes after a couple of minutes. Anyone else have this problem? anybody have a solution? did this get fixed for you via the update?
Yes, I'm having serious crashing problem s too. And I'm on a long trip, so this real ly sucks. Seems to happen when getting a poor signal. Like switching back-n-forth from Sprint and roaming

Clear the cache for maps and reboot
That seems to have fixed it!

Lately my phone is taking anywhere from 10-20 seconds to start a call after I start it. I'm on stock Verizon ICS, rooted. It's only started doing in the last couple months and does it when using a contact shortcut or from a text. I'll hit the call button from the contact and it takes 15-20 seconds to actually begin the call. Any help or ideas would be great, I really don't want to have to do a complete wipe on my phone. Thanks
Mine did this the first time yesterday. I am on jb rom though.

Try restarting the phone...or wipe cache if you are rooted.

This has happened to me a couple of times as well, but while using the dialer. In fact, it happened today.
I dialed a number and it took almost 30 seconds before I heard it ringing.
Grabbed my wife's phone, dialed the same number, and it took 45 seconds to start ringing.
Called the number again, using landline. Almost instantaneous ring.
As Verizon is so happy to say "It's the network!"
I've noticed lately I'll be able to connect to data one minute and the next I don't.. even though I have full bars and the 4G icon is spewing its orange lines... only thing that fixes this is a reboot, then magically I have connection again.
I'm running stock 11c... anyone else have this issue?
My wife had the same problem a couple days ago. Our rom is stock 10o. At least this phone boots a lot faster than my old atrix.

I've experienced that as well. I'm currently using the ported stock Jelly Bean Rom and I have the 4GLTE symbol with the orange bars but when I try to load a YouTube video, it'll keep loading without showing the video. But when I reboot, it'll start it, but then when I want to watch another, it will just keep loading. I can still load up the Internet and the xda app but I can't watch videos.
Edit: So it's not that it won't load videos, it just takes a long time. I believe it's just not receiving LTE like is has before.

You may have tried this, since you mentioned the only thing that fixes the data connection is a reboot, but have you tried putting the phone in airplane mode and back again? That works for me when mine is stubbornly showing there's a data connection where nothing is happening.

I have done the airplane trick and that temporarily fixed my issues when I was on the stock rom. I also went in and got a new sim which seemed to help. I haven't noticed it as much since the new sim.

I've tried turning data on and off but that doesn't seem to work... haven't tried airplane mode yet.
I'm on 10o and I'm having the same issue with data. It is the radio because I've had this issue with other phones in the past and with them I had to flash different radios for a fix. Hopefully it will be fixed when they release the official JB for us Att users.

Weird huh? I'm going to try the new v2 of the rom and see if that might help. Fingers crossed.

I've got the same problem as well. Often times when I am in an area with full bars and I get the 4G LTE symbol, I get no data at all.
I'll chime in and say I have the same problem as well. It affects me both on WiFi and on HSPSA. I can only describe it as incredibly annoying.
