U must just want to try the MoPho?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA Premium App
I had a mopho for about 12 hrs. Didn't like it mostly it was the screen and GUI were problems for me. I guess I really didn't realize how much I like sense. Now if the mopho had vanilla gingerbread like the nexus S it would be much better than moto's weird blur color scheme. I also found the GUI less proficient, but not sure why since it was so barebones.
I think both the mopho and 3VO are great phones it just comes down to personal preferences.

The Photon is much closer to vanilla than the 3d.

With all of the options available along with the clean profile in Sprint ID the gui shouldn't be a big deal.

The UI is the last thing I'd let stop me from choosing a particular phone. It's too easy to replace with a third-party launcher. I mean, unless someone just REALLY loves Sense...

Jellybean? How far away is it?

I've seen a few people working on jb. I've even seen some jb animations and features in some ics roms so my question is how far away is it from being on ny phone and who's got the best jb Rom out now, cuz I'm feeling adventurous and I'm wanting to test drive it. Trouble is I'm a noob *groans from the crowd* but I'm not an idiot and if anyone is looking for someone to test their Rom and see how it goes if ur willing to explain what I need to do to give you reliable and useful information I'm willing to do this.

If you are CDMA, there are some alpha builds in the CDMA development forum. Some major bugs still, but you did say you wanted to test it out. Here's one:

It's still early for fully functioning JB rom, but there are developers working on this, so we just have to believe that it will be soon availible.

Black Ops Zombies working perfectly Woooohooooo!!!!!

I installed this on my evo 3d just 30 minutes ago just for the heck of it and what do you know, baaaaaaaaam works like a charm. Didn't think it would work since they were saying only sony android phones hmmmmmmmmmmmm o well I dont want to jinx it but hey this is the best thing that ever happened to Android point blank period. Enjoy guys, cause im loving it.

We DO NOT past links or even talk about getting a paid app for free. These devs work extremely hard at their apps and to not support them is garbage. I suggest you go hang your in shame and keep those links to yourself

this rom is legit... downloading the newest one now
Yeah, this rom is where it's at... I never use custom roms. This is the first completely usable AND impressive Rom I've seen since getting a rezound in '11.
A nice refresh to get me through another half a year or so until upgrade time hits! I'll be donating... Where's that link...

There's a lot of good roms out there that are very usable. This Rom to me has the best battery life I have come across.

Just wanted to say, I'm not a fan of orange at all. But this theme is one of the best looking themes. Great job with the Rom and theme.

Stable 4.2.2

So I have tried out quite a few roms and have had issues with battery life. I'm not overclocking and haven't had a lot of use but it's no where near sense battery. Any thoughts?

I've had the same problem. I've been using mean bean. What Rom have you been on?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I'm running CyanogenMod 10.1 experimental that I downloaded directly from cyanogen.org and it is super smooth with excellent battery life. Way better than any sense ROM. The new ouroboros sense ROM has good battery life and so does super jelly milestone 4. But if you want 4.2.2, go with cyanogen 10.1 builds.

I'm back on the sense 5 port. With moderate use all day at work and data enabled I'm at 56 percent so decent. I will give cm a try again I suppose it's weird how aosp on my og eco and epic 4g seemed more stable. It may be mods on other roms that can cause issues. Have you used the new aosp kernel

I tried jellybam and it for some reason had really bad call quality and people couldn't hear me, sense 5 I love blinkfeed and the dialer ect but no audio Netflix, and I'm kind of bored with 3.16 roms. Ha ha

Yea I don't seem to get good batt life on some 4.2.2 rooms either which is really a shame :/
Got bored of sense and tried some aosp it's nice I like it, just not the batt life
