I don't ever think i've ever came across this bootanimation on xda ever so i decided to post it for everyone, works on my atrix 4g just fine if you like it cool, if not oh well i guess it won't effect me, im am not responsible for any bricks or damage to your phone, everyone should know how to move the bootanimation.zip to system/media if not use root explorer rw, system and copy and paste, wiping dalik cache will run it more smoothly first time if you run into any problems so i suggest you boot into cwn recovery after you move it to system/media, and wipe dalvik cache oh yeah you most be rooted to do all this ect, thanks cheers - Zombi3

I have confirmed that I can write to storage in WebOS but not when running CM 7a3.5. I understand other people have had the same problem. Has anyone found a non invasive solution? I can't write a new titanium backup to save my user data. I hate to lose everything since my set successful backup in December.

Dude, upgrade to cm9 alpha 0.6, it doesn't hurt and hopefully your problem would be solved. If u really wanna stay in cm7, try using root explorer and press the r/w button when u enter the sdcard directory.
I use Netflix a lot. So ICS is a no-go until hardware video works. I'll try root explorer though I'm not optimistic.

FYI, root explorer setting to RW worked like a charm. Apparently can write to the file system now.

Alright so the speedy does not have official support from Boot Manager but i have played around with the settings and got it working, you have to manually edit the variables.
1.) Open Boot Manager and go to settings ( if its the first time opening the app it will say unsupported either email the developers or manually enter variables )
2) INSIDE SETTINGS Make sure large boot.img is checked ( i couldn't get anything to boot with smaller boot.img )
**now in manually set variables
3.) Device name = speedy
4.)SDcard block = dev/block/mmcblk1p1
5.)System size in mb = 496
6.)data size in mb = 430
7.)cache size in mb = 150
**make sure to hit the set button beside each line**
8.) Then in extras ( its the screen all the way to the right of the ROM page )
make sure you set your sd booster up to at least 2048.
9.) Flash all ROMS using EXT2 Regardless of boot manager seeing ext4
*I tested all these ROMS with an 8GB Class 2 SanDisk.*
Here ill list out the working ROMS i have got to boot with Boot Manager
1.) newSENSE-RC-2
2.)Supreme Sense-v-X-a2sd
3.)Mokee OS 1.0 ( permission issues but works)
4.)Mokee OS 1.2
5.)MIUI v2.3.30 ( posted by Bfitz26)
6.)U.K.E v 1.4.6 ( with gapps ) *Flash the ROM to SD then flash gapps with no wipe. Then boot into SD ROM
7.)CoreDroidMod v6.6
**NOT WORKING with Boot Manager**
1.) Zens cm 9 build
2.)Joy OS
Cool man, thanks for the tut. May give this a try at some point. Do the ROMs running on the sd seem pretty smooth? Also are you able to use your sd-ext with each ROM?

Well I had used dreads recovery to remove my ext, and never did anything past testing the ROMS, now that I have 4 on my SD It's a little late to go adding it back LOL, I guess it was just a proof of concept that it would work for us

This should be a community effort to get official support for this awesome app. I've tweeted the devs and blew their email up but I alone don't think ill get you all official support

Well boot manager don't partition per-say it just copies your phones partition structure to the SD and flashes ROMS to it

no it does not wipe the SD card or anything like that, the app tells you to backup your phone ROM but thast a simple one click and your all good from there, incase like a sdROM dont boot there is a bootmanager folder made on your sdcar and you go into recovery and then go to bootmanager then to phone rom and flash update zip with no wipe and it will be all good
cool so it's like a built in img file in the bootmanager app it self aka folder so does this replace cwm basically? sorry for the questoins here just a bit curious and for other people might find this infomation useful once this thread gets more attention..

No it don't replace any recovery or any actual files on the phone, it does it all from sdcard, later on I should be able to get screen shots for y'all, depending on how much time it takes to rip all my doubleshot mods down. But who knows I'm out with the family now

I know I just have missed the thread and/or I am not searching for the correct words, but could someone help me find how to restore a rooted nook Tablet running CM9 alpha.05 to the out of box user experience?
My recovery is twrp 2.2 and I'm not very familiar with it or even cwm for that manner in how to restore and unroot.
Any and all help is very much appreciated and sorry for posting this if there is another thread somewhere.

Well since you have a custom recovery the only way you can get to stock is to use adamoitlers total wipe flash back to stock and root from there. You could try flashing some stock recovery but it is a bit risky IMO.

Here ya go
You'll need to do one thing before you do any of that and thats get clockworkmod recovery on there first. You should be able to use indirect's app to flash recovery to do that.

Yes, After flashing cm7 and gaaps, wipe and re-boot I'm in bootloop. For now I am running cm7 off sd card fine, but hope to fix internal ? Also, while in cmw from sd card, I get the error message after flashing "can't mount E recovery". There is probably the culprit ?
I'm not sure to be honest. Try flashing a different rom and see if you can boot.
You could also flash the zip for internal clockworkmod if you like, via the sdcard clockworkmod.

Thanks for the help thus far, but none of the above work. I also tried the repart.img from Raywaldo tutorial and it doesn't finish.I also tried AdamOutler wipe/ubunto method and it gets stuck at writing zeros to mlo. The roms seem to flash ok, but can't boot into it without a loop. I suspect partitions are messed up if someone can point me in the right direction. So it looks like TWRP caused this when reverting to cm7 from cm9 Thanka again

If it is a partition issue, then this thread should be able to help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570022
The first method worked for me, although I did flash a clean CM7 install instead of 1.4.2 at the end.
Also, you shouldn't need to make a.CWM sd card, since you can reach recovery.
Just download "acclaim_update.zip" from XDA and then go in and navigate to "updater_script" which is located in "META-INF/com/google/android/" edit the first two lines and where it says "blaze" change to "acclaim" on both lines and update your zip file or rezip it whatever you do and you can now flash it in CWM or TWRP.

I'd recommend getting something like notepad++ as notepad will not display the file very cleanly, and wordpad will add extra characters. Extract the file out of the zip, to say your desktop. Open it with notepad++. Edit what you like, save the file. Drag it back into the original place in the zip. Winrar will update the file in the zip. Make sure you extract the file though, if you try opening it directly from the zip, you're just going to be working on a temp copy of the file.
If you suspect that your partitions are messed up there are some threads about repartitioning. You can follow them up until you're supposed to start changing partitions to see if yours are the same as what their original ones were.
Can you boot the internal recovery still? I've seen a few posts about the CWM that come with CM7 and CM9 not being compatible with the other version. Perhaps try Indirect's Flasher.
Next time though, you should ask your question in a new thread since it's not really on topic with the OP and thread topic. Your question refered to a bootloop... The OP referred to returning to stock. By keeping the threads on topic to their content, it helps make searching easier for other people who may need the help.
Yes, notepadd++ --> On its menu, go to edit, and then to Eol Conversion to choose between :
windoze - cr/lf - od/oa ( hex )
unix - - lf - oa
mac - - cr - od
.
( of course ) we want the second choice...

ViperRez 1.0.3 won't download apps from market or links on the internet. Anyone have a fix?
Anyone?
Well, we need some more info.
Like a screenshot or an explanation of what happens.
Ok. Well I press download. It says 'starting download' but then I go to downloads and it says processing for like 20min. So I go to market and try to download chrome and the processing bar, not the downloading one that shows the percents, just keeps looping for another 10min. I know my Internet is fine, I've tried wifi and 4G and I know they both work because I'm able to access xda. Is this a known issue?
Will it download things that aren't apps?

It's acting like your sd card is unmounted or is mounted to the computer.
I would back it up and format it. Is it not downloading the zips or not allowing you to see them in recovery.
What radio version are you running? You wiped system partition and data before installing the new rom?

No it can mount the sdcard just fine. The problem is it won't download the zips. I can see ones on my sdcard that I have already downloaded in recovery. My radio is 2.20
Edit: The zips will download I just need to reboot. Is there any fix for this. I don't want to have to reboot every time I want to download an app. This hasn't happened on any of my previous roms.

I was coming on to tell you how great this Rom is. A couple bugs that I won't go into detail for but I am able to download perfectly and I didnt know if telling you that I am currently unlocked but "s-on" would help. Don't know that much about rooting but it's working fine for me. This is by far the best Rom I've flashed.
