I don't ever think i've ever came across this bootanimation on xda ever so i decided to post it for everyone,works on my atrix 4g just fine if you like it cool, if not oh well i guess it won't effect me, im am not responsible for any bricks or damage to your phone, everyone should know how to move the bootanimation.zip to system/media if not use root explorer rw, system and copy and paste, wiping dalik cache will run it more smoothly first time if you run into any problems so i suggest you boot into cwn recovery after you move it to system/media, and wipe dalvik cache oh yeah you most be rooted to do all this ect,thanks cheers - Zombi3

OK! This isn't as simple as it was for BlaY0's ROM. I think the reason is that some people are on nightlies which are stable, so they don't bother using the "official" stable one, or that people use a version that's slightly after 6.1, and could be though of as 6.1.1 (if you have the option for a rotary lockscreen, that's you). This means that frameworks differ slightly, which means I can't a one-zip-for-all type release. There are 2 ways round this:
You make it yourself by going to circle.glx.nl
I do it in a metamorph
I have made a metamorph for the fly-in animation, see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10217215&postcount=18
This is kind of in testing, but it should work. Let me know.

Only on cyanogenmod. And it might even not work on that, I'm not sure

I am on 6.1, with wiped cache and bootloops. A disclaimer would have been nice. I trusted this was tested and functional since it's not in the development section

Well, they are tested on my phone. I've pulled them for now, and I'll try again and test a little more thoroughly.
If you didn't backup you can go grab framework-res.apk from the CM-6.1 zip file that you installed from (if you're anything like me it'll still be on your SD card) and push it back to your device with ADB. If you're S-ON you will need to be in recovery mode. Make sure system is mounted (there's an option for this in the "partitions" menu) That will fix the bootloop issue.
Once again, I'm very sorry about this, I'll look into it and upload amended versions. Or, if you feel like being bold you can make it yourself: circle.glx.nl

Attached is a flashable zip that should get you back to normal I'd still wipe dalvik-cache with this one

You're completely entitled to be cranky, I screwed up. Again. Try with the new version I posted in the OP. It should be better. And I tend to do stuff live, without all the flashing of zips, so maybe I missed something the first time 'round. (/system overlay, restarting the android framework and ADB)

Ha haa, S-OFF was done AFTER these MODs. But I still use an overlay on /system for a lot of stuff.
Alright, I tried the new zip and its booting up fine. And the fly-in graphics are working. Too bad all I see are all running processes being killed. Over and over again. Something is not what it should. Still progress
EDIT: Even the zip that should restore framework-res.apk causes the killing of processes. Restored the one from the 6.1 zip and its fine now
Working fine for me. This is nifty, got any other animations up your sleeves?

Ok, I have made a metamorph Do not try to flash this zip. In order to use this you need either S-OFF or /system overlay. This should be a little more forgiving with the specific build of CM you're using. It is attached to this post, and won't make it to the OP until I'm a little more confident. This IS tested. I wiped everything and installed a new version of CM just so I could test this without my other modifications affecting it.
In testing, I didn't need to wipe dalvik-cache, but if you get problems do that before you complain at me
Ah, one more thing. You may wonder how this is any better than the zips I posted earlier. Well, as metamorph replaces the files it needs in your framework-res.apk, as opposed to replacing the whole apk (that's what the zips did), there is a smaller chance of errors caused by the the "wrong" framework.
i have cyanogen 6.1. for me the zip file got me into a boot loop and the metamorph did nothing. however i did manage to make it work by copying the anim folder from your zip file manually into my framewrok-res.apk file
I've been tried the metamorph version on CM7 nightlies and it worked on all of those roms .

Same happened to me when I was trying to move some notification zips to my ringtone folder...i was using root explorer, mounted as r/w but it still would not move my files or save my settings ...i ended up downloading super manager free version from the market and it worked fine...my suggestion, try that app.

Hey guys I appreciate any help with this issue i could get, I've just completed my first rom for the evo 3d and i have flashed it and it boots perfectly.It actually runs alot smother than i expected, absolutely no issues on MY phone. But i have passed it out to a couple guys for testing and on there phone it flashes and boots fine but all the data apps Ive included are not installing and when the install apps from the market it just starts rebooting. I'm thinking somehow or another the data partition is getting stuck in R/O and not R/W, is that possible(im sure anything is possible) but if that's the case how do i fix it, and if not what do you guys think it is.Also why would it install fine for me but no one else? I've included a copy of the updater-script and the ROM if any one can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

i'm not sure but maybe you've de-odexed your apps which need to be updated? which are updated and now causing this issue?

I've seen deodex apps in data/app on odex roms quite often, but if that is the issue why is it installing fine on some and not on others, and the "promise" they are doing full wipes. I think somewhere along the line data is somehow getting set to R/O. Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium

Odex and deodex have no effect on installing ROMs. The only difference between the two is one is slightly faster and in deodex the classes.dex is in the apk and not in odex form. Ask them what their hboot version is. 1.50 is kinda tricky.

both of the ones having issues(which happen to be 2 of 3 of my testers!) rooted with revolution me and my other tester are also rooted with revolution and have no issues. i rebuilt the rom over, the only thing i did different is i left a2sd out and now they are not having issues. So im thinking that maybe something got borked in the a2sd installation that automatically put the apps on the sdcard and they are not partitioned, thats the only thing i can think of.

That's probably it. Non partitioned SD cards and the apps2sd is trying to work but failing.

Only thing I can think of for that is what I see when smartbench does it's GL tunnel and GL jellyfish tests. Wondering if it makes that perform better?

I use smartbench 2011 it's optimized for dual core testing
I also have the donate key so I can view reach individual score
And it also allows me to store history of past tests on my sdcard do I can compare(even if I do a data wipe)

So I unzipped the rar and put it inmy nandroid folder and went to restore. now all my backups are md5 sum mismatched wtf

I take it im fu*ked? I had my backups on the internal sd card and the ace backup on my external too
Thats strange. I made it with the bsr so it should work. Cache and data were wiped when I made it which would make it universal

Astro messed it up or bad download most likely. A lot of the phone based file extraction tools don't have 100%a support... its more like 99%. Zip is the only format I've seen that seems to work right on the phone. I cannot think of why its throwing a md5 mismatch on your backups now. Are you able to boot and delete mine. There may be a way to override that check too

I am trying I did a data factory reset in BSR and didnt have the stock luancher on in liberty so I am gonna try going into libert customizer and restore the blur hom option they give. DO you think if I get that far and delete your backup, uninstall bsr and reinstall I might be able to save my backups? I cant see how it fudged up my internal sd backups...thats why i put them seperate lol

I have home up but my root browser is gone so I am using native email to download market and then reinstall root browser and then reinstall recover after deleting the backup....fingers crossed...on a side note my phone is hella fast and responive and 3g is unusally blazing fast....BSR did this mismatch thing to me once before when it froze during a restore. none of the others would work so I had to sbf repeatedly until finally everything worked as it should

Im on stock jelly beam lg AT&T rom oficial and rooted.
Thats all i have done

Well I was trying to edit something there with root explorer and then I have two files with that name but one says .bak and I delete the one that doesn't says .bak and only have one know.
After I do it I try to open the one I left and it doesn't open. Them I realize I did a really stupid thing. I search and nobody is talking about it on this forum. The ones who talk about it was an old phones.
My phone is working cuz I didn't shut it down but I know that when I reboot it I will be **** up.
Pliz anybody knows what to do?
The only idea that I have is to do a factory reset may be it reinstall it or something. But I prefer to ask first here to see if one of you (the prooos) know something not like me an idiot who make a big mistake.

I still have the file build.prop.bak
It wasn't opening but I select the option open with and select text viewer and it open and it was like the build.prop file
So I rename the file build.prop.bak to build.prop and I think now its ok I guess but I'm still worried
Did I solve my problem or not?
I'm scared to reboot it

You should be fine. Worst case scenario just reflash the ROM without wiping data and it will restore the whole system partition including the build.prop. just make sure you always have a copy of the ROM you are currently running on your SD card.

But I don't have a copy of my Rom cuz I'm stock I'm only rooted nothing more (I'm not unlocked bootloader and anything just root)
What should I do? Factory reset going to setting--> general--> backup and restore --> factory reset.
Or what I did of rename the file solve the problem?

Renaming the backup file to build.prop should be fine. Check the permissions it should be rw-r--r. If all is good you should be fine to reboot/shutdown. LGNPST can always recover your phone as long as it can at least be turned on. Like I said you should be fine but there is always options.

The remaining 1 is build.prop.bak? If yes then just remove the .bak, and you can open it now with texteditor, check permission make sure it is RW-R--R--, owner is root, then you should be good.
