[Q] Angry Birds - forcing it to save data - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

I have searched and there are many threads about how to back up your saved data and/or move it to different phones.
That isn't my issue. What I need to know is how to force the game to save your data mid-game.
I have given up on getting this game to be stable on my Streak. I'll deal with it spontaneously rebooting every fifteen minutes. What I can't deal with is that whatever progress I made between reboots is getting lost. It hardly ever writes to the file. Does anyone know how to force it to write completed levels to the save file?
I did find a reference that warns that the two critical files should only have rw priviliges, no execute, and checked them. Both are okay.

[Q] Phone will not scan media on sd card?

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me fix this:
For some time I have had this issue that every time my phone locks up while taking photos or video (I often switch camera apps multiple times when taking photos) my phone reboots and no longer will scan the media card (well, I should be precise and say that a notification briefly pops up that it is scanning but it does not completely scan). It's odd because I have no problem connecting by usb, unmounting and remounting the card (I've tried this over-and-over yet when it is remounted it will still not scan), and I can open a file manager and navigate through my files and even move them but it will not let me open anything for instance music or photos (which made me question if the permissions had been changed but everything is still fully readable/writable). In the past it has fixed it by restoring from a backup (sometimes of which I have had to do several times) but this time I deleted all but one recent backup and it is not fixing the problem this time... I feel I have exhausted my options but would definetely like to avoid a total data wipe (I do have recent Titanium Backups done on all my apps and data but I would also like to avoid having to use the time to restore them and all my settings, etc. back to exactly how I had my phone configured). Also, I would appreciate a solution that does not involve hours and hours of reconfiguration and loading as I am consistently using my camera apps all the time and I am really really getting sick of rebooting, restoring, ect. over and over.
I am running MIUIwiz with ED01, OTB v1.6 and CWM 3.x although I dont think this issue necessarily has anything to do with any of these because I had the same problem on stock froyo anyway.. (if anything might it be a kernel issue?)
Thank you in advance for any input!

any ideas?
Almost sound like the SD card is corrupt but you said you can access it and move items.
If it was me, I would back it up and try a restore.

[Q] xperia ray - wechat / weixin crashes - is it too many open files?

most consistently after a while spent browsing messages and user pictures (weixin is the chinese whatsapp by tencent).
i am starting to suspect that there's too many files open simultaneously in the system. weixin uses a separate file for each message / photo and therefore it will quite quickly reach a high number of open files. at one time i found 70,000 files stored in its subdirectories on the SD card - as far as i can tell, it doesn't do any housecleaning on its own.
the crashes are preceded by a wait/force close message. first few times the wait will bring results, then after a few waits the system will either freeze or reboot on its own.

dear seniors - what do you think - does this make sense? how to increase the allowed open-file handles? what else could be going on? is there a way to see a system log on what's going on?

Phone freezes, reboots, or does "nothing" at all when moving app/s to SD Card

Phone freezes, reboots, or does "nothing" at all when moving app/s to SD Card
Ah, the age old problem with moving apps.
I recently found my way back to a PA, AOKP, CM ROM (Jellybam).
Unfortunately, I have some nerve damage in my hand. Since the invention of the 4.2 JB keyboard, I've been able to use my Note more frequently, and thoroughly. There are various reasons why I need to use this ROM in particular, one of them being that customizability is a necessity, and Roms like Avatar, Chameleon, and PACMan just aren't there yet, either in performance, or stability. I spent the whole day looking for an alternative, but none came closer to meeting my needs, while still being callable of daily driving.
My issue is, I have a large collection of apps, and I'm leaving for vacation. Many of them hold an extremely large cache of offline data, while others are games that have 100+APK files, and 1-2GB of OBB or other SD Data. I still have a ton of apps I need to install, and the inherent 2gb limit of Android is seriously going to make my life tough. My family is counting on me for maps, itinerary, and even entertainment.
These apps could easily be installed if I could simply move a dozen or so of the largest apps, and a dozen or so of the medium sized apps to the SD card.
However, upon clicking the "Move to SD Card" button in the app info panel, one of a few things happens. The button might Greg out, and say "moving" for hours, and never get there, the phone could freeze, requiring a reboot as soon as I try to back out, hit the home button, or do anything except scroll; or the phone might freeze and reboot, or just reboot immediately upon clicking the move button.
Occasionally, I'll be successful. I've tried clearing a the data from a few system apps, like "Media Storage", and I'm not sure if it worked or not, but over a period of around ten restarts, I managed to get three apps transferred to the "SD Card", although they definitely were not the apps I needed to move. The ones I managed to move were ones I chose at random while I flashed several kernels, root .zips, recoveries, mods, etcetera. They were all less than 25mb.
I'd owe you forever, and would be willing to assist you on a project, or finding a fix for some of your own technological ailments, if you can help me with this.
A search of XDA, and Google's hive-mind brings up a couple thread where the issue is discussed, but those were from years ago, and only one was on the same ROM as I am, and that thread was deleted--all that remains was a description and the details of it in the search index.
So, a penny for your thoughts? Even if you don't have anything concrete, the discussion, suggestions, and conversations might help.
Mad thanks all around.

So, after some more screwing around, I found that indeed, clearing the data for the "Media Storage" app temporarily fixes the problem for all but 2 minutes. I'm woefully unprepared to understand the app-- particularly whether it's a contaner of sorts for media thumbnails, tags, etc...or...whateer....the...other....option.....is.....
I suppose i'll try pulling a TiBu Pkg of a "Media Storae" app from another ROM, import it into this one, and fire it up.
Before i cleared it, the app had 27mb of data and cache, and aftered i cleared it, it slimmed down to 7. Within a minute or two, it was back up to 27mb, and my phone was freezing on the transfer of apps to my sd card again.
Possibly your phone is just too low on memory and you don't have enough memory to do the move to sd card. Try temporarily removing some apps and then move your big ones and all that you can and then install the apps back.
Or you could backup a few apps with TB that you don't use much which will free up some memory. Then when you need the app use TB to restore it quickly.
Cache can be a killer. Just removed a little over 200MB of cache files myself this morning. Try a good cache cleaner like "Clean Master."
If your phone is loaded with media files then your media data will be that high. Sounds like to me your phone is simply overloaded.

/data remount as RO after device sleep (Teclast T10)

Hi guys, I have the Teclast T10, which is running Android 7.01. I'm aware there's a specific forum for this device but none of the user there face the same problem as I do. And since I think this more like an android issue, I'll try posting this here.
So, the problem: Apps force close after device sleep for a while, including core ones like google services, android.media, settings, basically everything.
How do I know this? Because if I keep using the device, it will never happen. I've also tested this with running something like the amoled always on screen app to keep the screen on and it does not happen. The device will work normally until the battery is depleted. But if I let the device to sleep for a while (screen off), say 30 minutes (it's random, sometimes it can survive for 2 hours, other times 10 minutes is enough), the first thing it greets me with when I turn it back on is, "Settings has stopped". At that point, most apps will force close when I open them. There's no cure other than rebooting, in which case it will work fine again until it's next nap time.
I checked the logcat and most errors are complaining that the file system is readonly, sqlite cannot write to the DB, cannot open file for writing, etc. And indeed when I check with "mount", the /data partition has been mounted "ro". I don't know what trigger this. I tried formatting the partition in TWRP, success. Check with e2fsck and there are no error.
So, any idea what's causing this and how to fix it? I'm willing to forego the internal storage entirely and move all my /data to the slower external sd card as long as it works, but I haven't find a way to easily do that with this tablet. Oh did I mention that if I use my external SD card as adaptable storage and move my apps to that, those apps will not force close. Only apps remaining in this damn (sorry) /data partition are doomed.
Appreciate any idea to try, It's driving me nuts for weeks now.
Thanks

Can't get rid of spyware

I have done the following in attempt to get rid of this spyware:
flashed Havoc os
stock roms from official Miui using xiaomi flash tool and using twrp
erased partitions using adb before flashing (boot, system, recovery, data, cache)
It seems like it doesnt even touches it. I know its still there because he can control my phone (play notifications sounds from messenger i dont even have installed, closing/freezing my browser, freezing my screen, lockscreen goes on i dont even touch the phone).
What else can i do? Is there a way to erase every bit of data from the phone? What remains after flashing a stock rom?

Is there any way i can find Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 firmware and flash it? Can anyone help me pls?
I saw chimera tool can do firmware update but it costs 120 euro and idk if its gonna work
Can you explain more about the spyware?
Its like a windows bios malware or maybe its in some partition that doesnt flash when installing new OS.
I talked to xiaomi support and they told me to take it to service but there is none in my country. I asked for help on Malwarebytes forum, sent apps report and they scanned it with VIrusTotal... nothing found.
I also did a logcat at boot time, i dont know if anything can be seen there.

The guy that did it hes messing with me like... telling me your wifi its not gonna work anymore, then it doesnt. O you have 5000 mah battery? my phone its charged 99% next day its empty and the phone just sits on the table... stuff like that so im pretty sure its hacked there is no doubt about that.

That wasn't too clever. Lol, rootkit from hell.
You need to wipe the internal memory 100% as well the SD card if any.
If it has a sim card I'd replace that as well.
Or make the perp fix it... legally.
Any associated Google accounts reset the passwords... now.
Internal memory was wiped, sd card wiped, sim card none (i read some articles about sim card viruses thats just little scripts to call numbers, send texts and stuff maybe in another 50 years they will make malware that can do whats happening to me).
"Or make the perp fix it... legally." What?
"Any associated Google accounts reset the passwords... now." I didnt connect to anything cuz i know he has all my passwords, he clearly doesnt want that i can still use all my accounts.
I am in a similar situation.
I install YouTube vanced and WhatsApp Plus
in the latter case something deleted my entire data without asking me -I suspect it was clean master and my vanced applications were uninstalled all of a sudden.
I seem to know what cause that com.miui. securitycenter if you disable it it will boot loop if you to change and restrict access to various permissions then phone functionality is upset
I took out a separate thread on that here on xda Google com.miui. securitycenter draconian legitimate spyware from redmi
there is a thread on XDA I use havoc ~ two years or so but because it does not support VoLTE and trying to enable that has been in vain I am forced to come back to China ROM.
Did you install any apps after flashing ROMs / gapps?

The malicious jpegs may be capable of doing that. I've had one the damages files in a folder but not files in folders, in the download folder.
It was confined to that folder unless one was to move it...
The trigger was viewing the jpeg.
They cure; simply delete it and repair or delete the damage files.
There are both Android and Windows variants of these. I've had a Windows variant too. Zero or minimum damage but only because I ID both quickly.
actually step back a little how do you conclude it's your phone that is affected you say he has access to our accounts and password maybe e is connecting on your Wi-Fi network IP address is the same and then trying to tinker with your accounts. what specifically makes you think that your phone is hacked as against something else

Jeeeesze, downloads from WhatsApp?
That's a great way to pick up creepy crawlers.
WhatsApp, FB, Instagram don't get on my devices. Ever.
They ruin lives, careers and more... they are spyware and malware by their very nature.
I never have had anything detect these little buggers, I'm not saying there aren't detectable, but don't count on it. The two I found I didn't even consider keeping them for analysis.
They wasted enough of my time as it was. Finding them in an ocean of jpegs could be problematic.
Rule #1, all downloads go to the download folder.
Choose what goes into your database after observation and at least scan it with Malwarebytes. Online Virustotal for any download remotely suspicious. Open jpegs at least once in the download folder and be aware of anything unusual afterwards... that may be the only clue you get.
If you really think one of these images has a malicious script, you need to isolate it. Scan with Malwarebytes and whatever else you want.
Try reloading, confirm the device is still clean then load the suspect database.
Problem being the trigger is opening the jpeg or some other related action to it like deleting the email it was associated with in Windows Outlook. If you get nailed again, reload and break/import your database in groups. You can see where this is going... it may take a while.
I've seen what they can do, I avoid downloading clickbait pics from untrusted sites, people and emails (email is kept in the cloud ie gmail).
My backups are also from different time periods on hdds completely isolated from each other and the PC. I could lose some of my database but not all of my it. With over 1 tb of data I'm not playing around.
The second and last(?) malicious jpeg I ran into was on Android about 1.5 years ago.
