Sms type 0. I receive blank sms from my operator. Official explanation: my phone doesn´t understand system sms type 0 which must be hidden. How to fix it?

There are different threads about this issue.
There is a small program you have to add to your xda, then it works.
sms_cab is the file if I remeber right...

I had this problem until I copied all of the contents of the SIM to Contacts using the SIM Manager. The problem then went away.
i upgraded to the latest radio stack, then changed all my mobile numbers so that they started with +44 instead of 0 and it works fine
it tells you to do this in the upgrade docs???
don't change your landline numbers to start with +44 though as they will mess up when calls come in

When calls get to me through the switchboard it displays 2 zeros in front of calling number. This means that no phone numbers in my contacts are with two zeros and my contacts does not get displayd. Android system does not filter these zeros, all my other phones have (p1,x1). Anybody have a solution for this?

I am trying to set a contact number for Sim Change alert. But when I try to save the number, a little popup says 'Enter SMS'. What is this telling ?
My samsung account is created and could login to web as well.
You have to enter an sms message in the same menu. This is used to send you the message which you have set when someone changes the SIM in your phone
There is an option called "Alert msg" click on that and enter your message.

there is no option to enter sms, but problem is Enter sms.
I am having a problem with messaging (texts) in that if I type in a 10 digit number, when I try to send the message, it is adding a 1 to it and so the text fails. This only happens on numbers I input manually. It is not happening to contacts I have, or to folks I have already sent/received texts.
This happens whether I am using the stock Messaging app or Chomp or other messaging apps.
The error I get is: Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code
I am typing in a valid 10 digit number, i.e. 512-555-1212, but when it sends it is attempting 15125551212.
Any help would sure be appreciated.
I am not being able to select the SIM when SMS is to be sent from my App. I can send SMS using the default selected SIM but I need to prompt the user to select SIM while sending SMS. cHow can it be done?
