Have you attempted to change the User Agent? (UA). Some (most) flash sites will redirect a mobile browser to an non flash based site for ease of use.
User agent? I don't see anything in the browser settings about user agent.

The user agent identifies the device to a web site, so if you haven't changed it, the default is obviously android. Change it to something desktop based and you won't be redirected to the mobile version of a website. (like m.google.com) many mobile sites don't utilize flash. It's listed at the bottom of the default browser settings under advanced.

We all are aware that Opera Mobile is best and fastest browser because of its Opera Turbo feature. But what it lacks is option to select USER AGENTS. Well i come across this link
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009719
Here is tutorial
1. Open skyfire or dolphin or any browser which allows us to choose User Agent. Select user agent as Desktop
2. Now browse this link www.whatsmyuseragent.com
On top you will get something like this
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_5; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Safari/525.20.1
Copy it.
3. Now open Opera Mobile and type opera:config in address bar
4. Go to USER PREFS option (Not user agent) and tap on it. You will see an option called as CUSTOM USER AGENT.
5. Now paste the user agent link we copied earlier here and click on Save.
6. Restart Opera and type google.com. Desktop site will be browsed from now on

Hi guys, I'm running Android 4.0.3 (westcrip's Resurrection ROM) and I'm having a bit of a problem with Flash videos.
I've installed Flash 11 and Flash actually works fine, except for when I go into a browser with the user agent set to Desktop. When I've got the user agent set to desktop all that appears instead of a video is a little brick with a question mark in it.
I prefer to use a desktop user agent because you can access more stuff on websites like YouTube, but now I can't.
Is this normal on ICS ROM's or have I made a mistake somewhere along the line? As it was completely fine when I was running 2.3.6.
Thanks.

I would suggest trying other browsers (Stock, Opera Mobile etc.)
It could just be a dolphin HD issue

I've tried other browsers, the only one I could find that let you change the user agent was xScope and that ran into the same problem.
All browsers i have tried allow changing user agent and they all work with flash for me on lpq.

Flash works when the user agent is set to desktop then?
Will reflash the ROM I'm using if that's the case and see if I have any luck.
Maybe first clear flash and browser pap data in apps.

I would like to find ether some kinda app that will work with my browser or a whole new browser that will let me to inject cookies I have sniffed off my network to open up sessions. I'm kinda new to android pen testing and its really kinda foreign because now I can't work with a terminal (command promt) for the reasons I want. Anyone know of such a app? Or browser? Thanks for the help.

It's not possible it would be a big privacy violation.

Its possible. There are apps that grabs cookies and inputs it in its own browser. All I want is the cookie injector. And not really a privacy violation what so ever. If people isn't smart enough to use SSL then there crap should be exploited. Not that SSL will keep you safe but android isn't that advance to decrypt. Yet.

Agree with you Bro. Use Droidsheep, it's more of a MITM attack rather than cookie injection, same thing really.

Yeah definitely. I use Droidsheep for arp mitm spoof. Witch works amazingly for people who don't SSL there connection. Right now I have a privet server that interacts with the connection my phone has, anywhere I go. Witch is amazing, i can use backtrack without killing my phone via connnected to SSH -> TOR network. I can decrypt SSL via backtrack and all I need is a cookie injection method to complete my task (so i dont have to do it VNC). Until I find something else I want to do. Thanks for your feedback bro.

I think the only possible way would be to use BOSCH (I think that's what it's called) to run windows xp, download a cookie injector and take it from there.

I was afrade of that. Kinda figure that was the only way. It sucks because my main way of connecting to backtrack is through SSH tunnel. That way it's all command based and if I really have to, pull up vnc.
Alright thanks for replying guys. If anyone can make this happen... you know I'll love you forever.

Apps do not usually use your browser applications to send cookies and heartbeats lol
The key to manipulating/injecting/hijacking phone applications on Android (probably IOS aswell) is the Android System WebView library that comes with Androids base linux kernal. Oddly enough, what browser an app uses (useragent) to make background requests, heartbeats, cookies...etc is really up to the developer of the app. If you know what you are doing, there are a couple of ways to proxy that intent request but unncessary. Most apps will call directly to that WebView system app to create HTTP requests. It also uses if i remember correctly, the Mozilla, Android, and uh.. idr the last one. This is all happen stance information based on something else as an android dev. lol but TL;DR: Learn how to use Intents. Intent hackers own your phone just as fast as you purchase it. Ideally every major company would stop everything they are doing right now and sign up a raise:good: on their App Security Development budget immidiately.:silly::victory:
If you can change or even better if you can Filter all the intents sent from TargetApp => Android System WebView... well ****. Suddenly you dont even need an injecting mechanism. Cause you're now exactly that. Probably a better result then one would hope.
there any way to manager or change cookies values on chrome on android?
Yandex browser & Firefox let u edit the cookie, just search '' edit this cookie" (yandex) and" cookie editor" for firefox. And do the same as you do in your pc chrome(+add to chrome).

Firefox has flash support and desktop user agent. I use it when I need flash and works well, though I use chrome (when I don't need flash) most of the time.

Try out Dolphin Browser. If you use the jet pack as well it's really fast but slightly unstable (getting better though) it's still nice without jet pack.
She could sideload the flash APK without being rooted and use the stock browser. Just make sure unknown sources is checked in dev settings.

Hello, I've noticed, that in every internet browser after changing user agent in options no settings are taken over. Means all the time mobile versions of the websites. How the hell make it force work ?
That's the website's fault. I've had the same problem on several devices and browsers. See if the website has its own full version link (usually at the bottom of the page).
It's not website's fault, becouse the same browser on other phone is working in desktop mode on chosen website, while on XZU website is still in mobile mode and clicking "full view" is not working on every of them (but the last part is irrelevant).
Well then it might be Chrome. There is no ****ing way that Android on this particular device will not let you change to a full version site, so try a different browser and see if that helps (Firefox, Opera etc.).
Works fine on mine with chrome and dolphin.

If you're rooted you can force chrome to tablet version, not user agent, but full tablet layout, that may work.

Boat browser is the best browser still for Ultra (ie:1. fastest.. 2. Clean Up And 2.menus and controls are all at the bottom of the screen). Which is important for the Ultra.
Also has desktop version.
Boat is having flash problems on this xperia. I've used it since a year on note 2 without any problems though. Tested yesterday every browser on the market, by none got properly working flash with properly working UA dekstop.
Will try forcing chrom if I find a tutorial...
