Hey guys.
I'm in need of some assistance. I'm in the US using T-Mobile's LG P509.
I installed openOptimus v1.172 and I had to manually configure the apn settings but I can't seem to get mms working. There's a box that appears when I receive a message saying download but after I click it, I get an error message. I cannot send picture messages either.
I've already tried searching Google for help but they don't work.

Hi everyone id like to know what are the apn settings for sending mms and browsing web at the same time i tried creating a new apn whit settings found on google and i just cant select it there is no circle thingy :/ any clue? Thanks

Have you tried SE's Settings download? If not, go to Settings>Sony Ericsson> and tap Settings Download. Hope this helps you.

What's your provider?
Just google it. IE: Tmobile APN settings.
Rogers is my carrier i did find the settings but even tho i apply it i cant send pictures message but i can receive them?

What are the right tmobile US apn settings to send and recieve mms? I had the same problem with andys phoenix rom but figured it out, has anyone using tmobile US had any problems with sending and recieving pictures,videos and etc using the default apn established with lupohirps aosp rom

Has anyone else had this problem or know a way to fix it? Also, when I try to send one it will give me a message saying "service not activated on network". I'm using galaxy s vibrant on US T-mobile.
Check your apn settings. For T-Mobile US:
MMS Proxy: 261.155.165.050
MMS Port: 8080

Did you use the default T-Mobile US after flashing (the one with the password and username set) and then added the proxy?

It turned out to be a photo size limit issue. Apparently it was too large for MMS. I cropped out a picture to test that out and then it worked. I ended up switching to Hancent. Much better application. It does the auto resizing for u.
Sounds good. Ya I used default, cleared username and password and added port and proxy. Glad your up and going.

I have my Samsung epic 4g touch flashed to page plus.... My problem is I have working 3g data and mms((partially) I can receive but I can't send mms. So I am trying to find the user agent mmsc, mmsc port ask that stuff to enter on goSMS or just find a GB mms.apk that will work on my e4gt so I can both send and receive.... Any pointers or ideas welcome. Yes I've googled

Try pulling a mms.apk from an AOSP gingerbread ROM for your device or try pulling one from a CM7 ROM for the e4gt. Once you have the pulled apk install it on your phone and see if that fixes your problem.

Here try this mms.apk I have attached that I took from a CM7 e4gt ROM.
It never fails. Every HTC phone causes my picture messaging to not work. Any ideas?

I am looking for help on this also. I have a Verizon One Max and can't get Picture messaging to work.
I have Verizon One Max with ATT sim and can't get mms working either. ?
