I bought some laza batteries on amazon thinking they would be 1730mah vs true cheapo ones sold on eBay. Nope. I pulled the sticker off and there it was. Not only that but inside your order is a little note saying $5 Amazon card if you rate and email us once you have. I consider this bordering paid reviews. So don't buy from them. Returning mine tomorrow.
I added a pick to the product gallery if you want to see.

Personally I'm tired of all these batteries turning out to be 1000mah capacity. I'll be darned if I'm carying a Seido brick. Bought an external battery. Newtrent 11000mah. Give me power!

So the outside of the battery said 1730mah ?
Outside says nothing about mah. Product description did. I'll bet 90% of these batteries people are buying are cheap ones.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
I bought the laza batteries- I get the same battery life out of them as I do with the OEM
Not me. I tend to believe the manufacturers stamp vs the sellers word. Why else would it be there? Secondly Laza's sticker doesn't even state the mah. The charger took 5 hours to charge battery vs 3 stock charger. Plus they are paying people to give reviews. I reported them to amazon and hope they get pulled. Their seller track rating is also pretty darn low.
Odd just checked the listing and now they are $10 cheaper and are sold by Laza/dailypc vs Laza. Maybe I'm seeing things but I think seller name was switched because the feedback last time I checked when returning them was like 75%. Anyways, still a crappy product. Can't trust the reviews on there.
Ok so I went through seller feedback for Laza/dailypc and don't see mine in there. So i do think they switched sellers on this product.
I'll stand by my comment to avoid Laza.

O hm...they did say to avoid non-official sellers cause they were being counterfeited..perhaps that can be a possibility?

I've seen these before, never look too much into them. I know a lot of people are against the eBay batteries but I know Galileo makes a solid battery (not sure if one is available for 3VO). But look into MugenPower also.
I'm personally looking into the Innocell 1900mah. I want as much as I can get over the stock 1750 without straying away from the slim size.

Yeah I was gonna get the 1900mah one too. But when I saw these last night, I was wondering.
Llooks like someone bought these and is trying to mark them up by too much. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180679268676&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

yea I just ordered the 3 E3D batteries w/wall charger for $10.50 SHIPPED! gotta love ebay!
they are a good price. Just worried about the quality.
I can at least say the two with charger (similar deal to these ebay batteries now) for my evo back about a year ago still work fine (gave one to a friend for his Hero when I got a extended live batt) also the charger worked GREAT. (It easily rapid charged the batteries without getting hot at all)

Morn concerned they may not charge correctly or the capacity may not be what's advertised.
Anybody else notice that the the Seidio extended battery is only a 3.7 volt? Same as alot of the batteries on Ebay and the ones on Amazon.

I know it says "sensation" right there on the product, but I don't think I care. having 3x extra batteries will be so fat, will acutally let me WATCH all the sweet 3D movies I've got loaded on here!
I'll let you know if they're any good.

You got something against buying straight from the source and saving tons of middle man money? It's like how overpriced most of the cases are. So much stuff is made in china now I really don't care about paying a lot extra for a warranty on a product if i can buy it over and over 5 times before i spent as much as the "official" made in china from an overpriced accessories manufacturer.

Why, are they that "bad"? Or becuase of the shipping?

I have a preorder of the seido 1900 mah slim extended battery, and wont need to get a new battery cover either. Hopefully it ships soon.
Muliti quote is not working
I dont have anything against Hong Kong. My wife ordered batteries and a charger like this for her Samsung Epic and when they arrived they were the wrong batteries and the charger didnt even work. At least I have a better chance returning and getting my money back with Amazon or Seidio.
And yes, the shipping time sucks.
So I recieved one of those ebay generic batteries with the Black and white leabel yesterday.
it was marked 2600 mAh rating.
I peeled back the label to see whats underneath. Much to my surprise there was no casing! Its just a thin plastic frame around the outside. The cell inside did not even take up all the space. there was 1/8" X 1" thick strip of foam along the length.
I'm not gonna rip open my OEM battery but damn...I'm sure the Samsung isnt like that!
So after a full charge, the battery life was pretty dismal. 2 hrs of light use, no games, brought it down to 60%. then i went to sleep. in the morning it dropped to 33%. from that point i went down to zero after 1 hr of web browsing, sitting on my desk.
i'll upload pics later
EDIT: just slapped in the 2nd fully charged battery. its down to 87%. i took like 3 photos and nothing else. FAIL
not all generic batteries are suck!
i bet your generic battery is lighter in weight?
Anker battery weight the same as oem samsung battery.
i havnt used oem samsung battery after i got my Anker batteries.
I should specify ebay ones. Yeah i ordered a pair of ankers and a charger this morning. I however did see some nice looking battery cases with 3500mAh ratings, kind of like an external sleeve/backing.
however this makes the phone even longer and thicker, but not as gross looking as the 5000mAh double sized batteries. sadly, they are in the $45 range
EDIT: like this

why should they not capitalize on people who look at only price and not quality? they sell crap because people buy it, and they know that you wont pay to ship it back to China for a refund. See they can ship to the US for nothing our postal service delivers it and we get the increased postal rates. Now if you purchased from a real American business you would have a better quality battery because American sellers cant get away with that crap.

I don't find the logic in such a stereotypical post.
I bought similar...from a US seller...shipped from the US. ...same result...crap batteries
Seller did refund half of the purchase price and told me to keep the batteries.

HHHUMMMM you spend $10 and .....
complain it is a piece of crap, not sure if you know you get what you pay for in this world. Continue to go cheap and you get cheap at some point you have to spend money for quality. Not saying the most expensive is the best, but do your research and buy the best bang for the buck vice the cheapest for the buck.

go look at this freaking loser review on amazon. he spent 14.99$ for 2 batteries and charger, that is like 5$ for each item. And he get pissed off cus the charger takes too long to charge compare to samsung charger.

That, and his second battery was defective? Don't be overly biased here.
I have 2 Anker batteries and they seem comparable to my OEM's. No better, no worse. Hopefully in time they will still perform.
They aren't even broken in yet.
In the end, they will still suck, but hopefully not that bad. I wouldn't try to use your camera with flash on using an aftermarket battery though
EDIT: Also some gentleman was selling OEM note batteries, wall charger adapter, and a USB cable for 20$ shipping on eBay. I picked one up, it's perfect, and a steal of a deal.
well ive been trying to cylcle them a few time turning EVERYTHING on and maxing brightness etc.
still. felt like i opened a big bag of chips and finding it only half full. Im curious if others found the same thing in "better" batteries?
EDIT: I fully knew i wouldnt be getting the full rated mAh as i just wanted cheap, backup batteries. I've bought many of these before, but never opened them till now.
These batteries have since been retired. Do yourselves a favor, buy the "Anker" brand batteries. Theyare as good as oem and cheap too. Under $20 for two including a stand alone charger with usb output and 600mA.

I purchased a samsung battery 3100 oem. How can I know if it real or fake. I compared it to my wife's in the *#0228#. And all the info is similar except for blocks used. Mine was 6, hers 3. There is no manufacture data. My question is that. I'm I looking in the wrong place for this info. The battery does look identical except mine is verizon the one I bought is tmobile so part# and serial are diff. Thanks for any help. One more this I bought from amazon and told seller battery isn't lasting as long as original and he sent another ASAP. So know I have 2. But I still feel like this is a 2000+mil. Again is there anywhere in the hidden menu I can look. Thanks.
Do you got some pics of the differences visualy to compare.

How much did you buy it for?
If less than $20, you probably have a piece of junk that has significantly less capacity than it is being advertised as.
Link: http://batteryboss.org/
Those are some dated devices but don't you think for a minute that these same goons who sold these fake batteries aren't continuing to do so well into 2013. You get what you pay for, don't be cheap.
There is nowhere that gives the manufacturer in the hidden menu the battery? I did ay slightly less than $20 also.
This is the story. Same battery I bought to the tee. http://www.batteryreview.info/revie...attery-for-samsung-galaxy-note-2-ii-n7100-4g/
Dam. Should of knew better. At least he gave 2. I left a review. Hopefully it helps someone else.
I knew it. I'm bookmarking this thread and will gladly use it anytime I see someone recommending cheap sh** batteries on amazon or ebay.
Do you really think for a second if the real product sells for $50, that someone would willingly get rid of it for so cheap? It's just simple logic.
Anker batteries on Amazon are fairly inexpensive and just as good. 3100mah was around $10 when I bought one.
Hell, the 6200mah anker battery is going for 15.99 with prime shipping and theres another thread saying it's great (we'll see for how long though). But yeah that sucks, and yeah link em to this one. You get what you pay for

Hey, I noticed the battery life not living up to what it used to be when awake, and looked up how to take apart the back to replace the battery, and it seems simple enough. Remove bottom back then screws, so I was wanted to know if I could buy a better battery than the original since I'm replacing it anyway? Any guidance would be great!

There aren't any companies that make them for this device. Since the battery isn't removable, they wouldn't be selling any. Well, except to people like you who are going to disassemble the phone. That said, the standard extended battery wouldn't work, because then you wouldn't be able to reassemble the phone. It would have to be the exact same size, like what Anker offers for the Evo 3D. Sorry though, going back to a factory battery is going to be your only option here
I would like to have this option as well! It could very well be that it just isn't possible to pack anymore mah in the same footprint as the factory battery. I know this is the case with the Note 2. If you want more mah with the Note 2, the only option is to buy a battery that is larger than stock and go with a thicker battery door. There are some batteries on ebay that claim to have more mah in a battery that's the same size as factory, but people have found that this isn't true and that the battery actually has less mah than the factory battery does! Now Anker does offer a Note 2 battery that's listed as having the same mah as stock, but many people have said that it will last a couple hours longer! If Anker offered a Evo LTE battery, then I would definitely try it out! I have multiple Anker batteries for my Evo 3D, and have had nothing but good experiences with them!! I'm pretty sure Anker was the brand I had for my OG Evo as well, but don't remember for certain. I've got Anker batteries on order for my Note 2, so I'll find out soon if Anker will impress me yet again. Sorry I couldn't give you any good news...

The reviews for it are very hit and miss if I remember correctly
Screw EVERY backup battery you all have in mind and just get an ANKER 13300maH battery. Of course it loses about 30% on conversion, so it will rate around 9500 or whatever, but it is enough to FULLY charge my EVO 4G LTE about 3-4 times from being dead. The only bad thing I have to report about it is that I didn't find it sooner, but other than that it's been flawless in keeping me happy. I wish the carrying case was a bit bigger so cramming the extra bits into it wouldn't be such a challenge, but other than that I love it. And one thing I didn't mention is you can find them at an extremely reasonable rate on Amazon or ebay. Just be sure to order from the company directly so you don't get a fake one.
Has anyone tried these batteries before?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-4200mAh-...for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-/201066103414
I'm not sure how many mah is in the stock battery but 4200mah sounds a like a lot! And it's standard size, not fat.
My phone lasts all day without problems but I want to buy a spare one for traveling, so I don't have to be one of those iphone people at the airport hogging all of the outlets! hahaha
The standard Note 3 battery is rated at 3200mAh so 4200mAh is an extra 1000mAh (+31%) rather a lot to claim for the same dimensions.
I would be very doubtful about any battery the same size that claimed more than +5% to +%10

Looks like the listing is gone, but i got the anker set from amazon and it works great, it's at 3200mah like the stock battery and it last me as long as the stock one and feels about the same quality, it's 29.99 so 10 bucks more but i've always been satisfied with anker products, here is the link anker batteries and amazon will let you return it, good luck
Think these TQTHL A+ brand:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3900mAh...Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-N9002-Phone-/321424073342
Are any good?
I purchased these batteries (the gold ones) back when I had a GS2. They, like these quoted about 30% higher mAh rating than the OEM batteries. My experience was they lasted about the same as the OEM. I think they just fudge the numbers for marketing purposes. The batteries are certainly cheaply made, I had the top terminal plates come loose on two of the ones I owned. When I bought them they did not have NFC support like the OEM battery, but they made no claim for it either. I used them for about 2 or three years with no real issues other than the terminal plates which was fixed with a bit of tape.
If you need a cheap battery to back up your existing batteries I would say they do the job. If you are looking for a higher capacity battery look elsewhere.
I would only trust stock samsung made batteries and anker 3200mah for slimness, too many fakes and fire hazards with those other posers claiming to be more. ZeroLemon and Mugen are the go to companies for extreme battery life tho they do add extra bulk to the phone, i myself prefer the added weight it gives the note 3 as well as the protection and extended battery life it provides.
Theres also those rechargable battery packs that go for around $25-40
