Opera has released updated version of mini 6 and mobile 11. Can anyone one tell me the difference with these two and which is better for wildfire 2.2 froyo (unroot).

I have not tried Opera mobile 11, but i have been using Opera Mini on Wildfire and used it on Touch for years. Opera Mini is light and supports javascript/animation but not flash animation and its free good for browsing if you are using carrier data plan
If you are looking to experience a browser with similar capabilities like Desktop browser (support falsh/animations and high quality graphics) Opera Mobile 11 will be a better choice. Can use it When connected to internet through Wifi
I had Opera Mobile 9.5 on Touch sometime back and I uninstalled it because it was heavy on memory for device like Touch. Will try Opera Mobile on Wildfire
My own opinion
Opera mini latest version is quite nice with the extra share features. But it has bug. The organise bar can't be switched off probably. After the apps restart,it will still open. Previous opera mini had a sharper word in small font size compare to latest one. I prefer mini.
Opera mobile is almost 20mb. It is slow for me in cm7. And the zooming speed is extremely slow for me. But the page load little bit faster compare to mini sometime. Mobile is a little bit slow for wildfire in performance.

Yeah even i tried opera mobile it's even slow in froyo stock rom. Opera Mini always uses Opera’s advanced server compression technology to compress web content before it gets to a device, So it's is fast. Where as Opera Mobile is a full Internet browser for mobile devices and also has flash player in it.

the best Internet Browser ?

hello, im looking for the fastest internet browser for wildfire. can you help me ? which one do you use ? I dont care about the design, just speed . . thanks in advance
Opera mini is faster for lower data speeds as it hav severs to compress and send data to mobile browsers..but on fairly good data speed you could try xscope..
For me it's the stock Android Browser.
Opera Mini if you want pure speed.
Opera Mobile if you want better website rendering (JavaScript enabled) and speed.
I prefer Mobile myself, hate Mini.
I found Miren to work pretty well for me. It's got a few nice features too.
I prefer the stock browser.
I'm using Dolphin HD, simply because of the support for lastpass and xmarks. I just wish firefox supported the wildfire!
I'm using Dolphin HD..

Yes, and it works flawlessly.
opera opera and only opera
Unquestionably Dolphin Mini, a full featured browser with lots of goodies built In (like page capture, footprint tools, and lots more. Very easy to use, hardly any learning curve. Really its the only browser that feels like it belongs on your phone. Much better than Opera mini which is clunky compared,

Hey bt as to me i thnk opera mini is the best n fastest browser
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I use Dolphin and it's so practical, has a lot of downloadable addons which most browsers don't have.

I'd prefer opera mini for speed and opera mobile also for speed, but mobile has just more opertunities.
mirren is just like google chrome on a phone( fast and small)
boat browser is the best for people that like the iphone browser.
Dolphin browsers are like the firefox for the wildfire we never had.
But like speed and nice design and the most stuff : opera mobile FTW
I use opera mobile 11 as it renders fast.huge improvement over v10

I used to use a Dolphin browser for internet browsing, but now I really like xScope browser that looks like standard Chrome and is pretty fast and more user friendly than Dolphin. Opera is good too, but sometimes it does not display pages as they really look.
Zirc is nice one: free, fast, no ads and has adblock.

Still sticking with opera mini altough there has been some unexpected FC's lately and problems with reflowing. In my opinion it's the fastest and easiest to use on wildfire. And I've tried Opera mobile, dolphin mini and hd, miren and last but not least stock browsers.

I use Opera Mobile for all browsing......
And for flash I use Stock browser.....
I use Opera Mini for fast browsing and the NetFont Life Browser for
nice flash-sites.
opera mobile is the smoothest for me.
+1 for Opera Mobile... It is awesome!
I use Ninesky Browser. It's very fast browser
I use Opera Mini, because it's light and the poor rendering maybe true, but the overall performance is great in my opinion. I'll try Opera Mobile after reading the comments.
try uc browser 8...it uses multiple downloading links to...so downloading speed is maximized!! and flash player support too!!
found it better than opera web browser...
dolphin sometimes lags...but has nice add ons!
I also use Opera, best I think
I use , stock one , opera mobile , mini and skyfire and Dolphin HD browser ..try any two of them will fit.
I use mostly Opera mini and when the display is not rendered properly Opera mobile or stock browser.
i think the opera is very fast and stable.
I use Ninesky browser, because is fast.

Maxthon browser !
I had a display bug with Opera Mini.
Stock one, obviously.

What's the smoothest Android browser?

I have Nexus S and browsing can be a pain since it can be very lagging. I'm using dolphin right now and i can't see the huge difference in terms if smoothness between dolphin and stock. Can anybody recommend me fast, smooth and polished browser for anrroid? Thanks a ton!

If you have ICS on your Nexus S, I'd give the new Chrome Beta (Market Link) a try. It only works on ICS, but I have on it on my Galaxy Tab (with an ICS rom), and it's one of the fastest and most aesthetically pleasing browsers I've used. Not to mention it syncs tabs/favorites/etc. with your computer's Chrome.
It is in beta, but I've had no issues so far.
i have a nexus s too whit ics , all are the same for me but the best are boat mini or normal , chrome and dolphin
I sadly don't have ics... any other browsers?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
have you tried Miren Browser ? I have a Milestone (Motorola A853) and it's the smoothest for my device. And works on Froyo/Ginger
I know for any of the browsers you end up with, you can test their speed with this...
peacekeeper.futuremark.com
It's a browser benchmark
Dolphin browser has been great in my experience. You could try Firefox if you haven't yet. With your phone I wouldn't think that lagging would be an issue unless a web page has lots of flash elements. You may want to enable plugin loading on demand to speed up page rendering.
Opera mobile (haven't tried chrome). Smoothest browser I've used by far (there's just no two finger dragging). Also has a nice and easy to use UI.
MX and Dolphin are also OK, scrolling smoothness wise, firefox is horrible.
Dolphin HD by far is the best browser IMO. Chrome for Android keeps draining battery for me by always staying active in the background.

Opera Mobile.

Thanks guys! I'll try them and see what's best for me.

I used to use Opera & Miren, and thought they were the best. Now I only use Boat Browser for my Droid X2.
Yeah I use Opera on my tab and phones.
Standard, Firefox and Dolphin browser just didn't want to work like it was supposed to on al 4 devices.
IMHO Boat Browser is by far the best browser...
Opera Mobile, smoothest I've tried
+1 for Opera here too
Boat browser gets my vote. FCs a lot less than Dolfpin

I tried a lot of browsers, but opera has both features and smoothness, so I'll be using opera for my default browser... thanks though!

Dolphin Browser HD Drains Battery Quickly And Uses Lot's Of Ram...As Galaxy Y Has Low Ram So Better Option Is Try "Opera Mini" Browser From Google Play..It's Really Fast ..Just Try It..
hey Madfrog91 the browser mentioned in my cmmnt are working perfectly on SGY as i am also using the same...
And i didn't knw much about battery draining and more RAM consumption by Dolphin browser!!!!!
So just use it, and experience it..........
Dolphin HD is head and shoulders about the rest. Especially with its new interface.

Opera mini rulez, its fast and looks good.
GREEEEEETZ!!!
also using Opera Mini for years on all my old and current cellphones. IMHO still the fastest and when it comes to 3g it doesnt consume much of my data plan
Finally i choose dolphine mini, its more from opera mini..
Thanks for information guys

I used opera mobile.
I test some browser but some prob with these
UCbrowser= smooth than others , but uses more ram and processing use that drains your battery, and sometime it get slower.
Dolphin hd/mini= the cool browser. But on my 2g network it is slower.
Maxthon = good speed but for the tabbed browsing it is not good as opera and ucbrowser.
About opera it is best for me it is fast with opera turbo it saves your bandwidth so you browse more with paying less
Best for tabbed browsing it load websites fast and also in background
so go for opera browser
