First, make sure you have deodexed 2.3.4 rom. If you have that, flash this mod via CWM, and you will have 1% battery reports:

check their frontpage: they're changing the website to sammobile.com and there you can find the new firmwares
@Wanam: Does this ROM also include 'png optimisations', just as madmacks ROM? Just trying to figure out the differences
And you're so damn fast man, it looks like you're work is easy to do, would you be interested in writing a guide on how you make your ROM bases?

Hi Wanam,
sorry for the noob question...
I've successfully installed your XXKI4 2.3.5 (deodexed version): now if I want to apply the Sicopat mods should I revert your odexed version (reinstalling it with CWM over the deodexed one will work?) on can I use them the same on my deodexed version?

Thanks Wanam, is it the same for the other Sicopad mods, e.g. odexed Camera.apk can be installed "over" your deodexed ROM?

Has anyone got hold of Defy+ battery and installed it on Defy?
If yes, hows the battery backup and where to get it?
Thanks!
I was just about to ask the same question now. Waiting someone that have tested it confirm that.
Hmm dead post? Does anyone know how it works together?

Oh! great question! interesting
anyone tried yet??
Has anyone tried it yet.... someone must have!! please share!
All,
I have motorola MB525 defy bought in September 2011. Last week, my phone battery got deep discharged and the phone won't boot even after plugging in the charger.
As the phone was under warranty, i got the battery replaced at Motorola Authorised Service centre yesterday but i got HF5X 1700mAh (the one in Defy+) as replacement. The service centre guy said that it would work with my Defy.
I kept the phone on charging for more than 12 hours continuously but the battery keeps charging and battery level is not going beyond 80%. (Though battery is giving good life, but, mind you, it is only 2 days since i am using it.)
Can you please suggest what should i do?
Motivateme/Meilbox,
Can you please elaborate and explain what should I do?
You guys can try this patch that I've made for Defy+ users on CM7.
And yes, it is just the battd from MS2Ginger 2.3.6.
It's a custom recovery update, so your phone has to be rooted and you need to have 2ndInit installed (for CWM 3.0 recovery or above).
And btw, it helps to describe what rom you are currently running when asking for help...
Cheers,
/AL

just install 2ndInit
inside 2ndInit you'll get CWM.
and you can flash All's fix with that.

MIUI
Hey all, I am very attached to miui but the patch for the battery doesn't seem to work with it. It just results in a little question mark over a full battery icon in the notification bar.
For info about how Defy+ battery fit in Defy and where you can buy it in Europe read these threads :

Well, first thing to do is to make an account over at google.com.
next, when all is done with creation of your account, you go over at the nearest playstore ( http://play.google.com/store ) and you click on the search button wich should look much like an magnifying glass and you should enter these as your keywords:
"Spirit FM" (without quotes) and as a search result you will be offered with the much wanted app... You should then click on it and when it opens, you click on install and, voila! You've got it!
Sorry for the sarcasm but I had to do it..
No hard feelings! The instructions are quite explanatory so you should use them!
Have fun listening!

Hi,
I would like to prompt that starting from 11.18 update there is no longer way to choose profiles in power off menu when lockscreen is active.
I've no sufficient messages to post in JellyBAM official topic. I hope iGio reads here too.

after installing jelly bam and if goes into bootloop, just pull the battery and insert. the rom then should complete installing. If you read the jellybam thread about 30 pages back, this method was mentioned.

Battery Drain
Does anybody suffer from more than average battery drain on JellyBam? It seems to lose battery way faster than ResurrectionRemix. (I have latest versions of both roms + Doriman 7.27) And btw JellyBam also hangs a lot with Doriman 7.28.
Primary Rom: ResurrectionRemix 3.1.2
Secondary Rom: JellyBam 1.2.0
Kernel: Dorimanx 7.xx
