[Q] 1% battery mod instructions - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not deodexed yet, using ORFR234 and don't want to install a theme (no offense to anyone). Can someone please post the steps. For whatever reason, I can't find them.
I'm not using an AT&T ROM either so I can't use any of the current mods. Thank you!

[HOWTO] Cooking your own mods in UOT Kitchen (Battery as example)

Someone asked me how to do a battery mod in a PM, so I thought I'd share with everyone.
It's a pretty simple process:
Go to UOT kitchen:
http://uot.dakra.lt/
Click Kitchen, then Battery.
For my chosen battery, the only option I change on the battery page is Hybrid under 'Changing Animation'
Click 'generate preview', don't skip that step!
After the preview is generated, click the 'File Upload' tab, then click 'System files'. Upload your deodexed framework-res.apk that contains all of the other mods that you want the battery added to.
After the upload is complete, click the 'Summary' tab. If the battery mod shows as green, click the 'Submit work to kitchen' button, and go have a beverage while it cooks your mod.
Download the cooked zip, flash with CWM and enjoy!
Much more info is available in the official UOT kitchen thread:

You can see what my battery looks like from an older post of mine in post #1 at:

Only problem for me is that the stock gingerbread battery is not there. There is a look alike, but when flashed it is not the same as the stock GB one. To see the difference, compare battery of SGS II Clone and Galaxy Extreme.
SGS II has the look alike, while Galaxy Extreme has the true GB.
I've tried this several times with no luck. In fact, NO mods work for me now. I had no issues on other roms, but now that I'm on stock deodexed kb5 courtesy of whitehawkx, I can't get any mod to stick.

Yes. Works great. Just upload a copy of the framework-res.apk, that you are actually running. Copy it from your system, not from the zip, or you will loose all previously installed mods.
This looks awesome, something to do today
will try right now! thx
what zip scripting do i use for the Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant) 4G?
OP, you should tell people to post their resulting zips in this thread, or my thread to conserve UOT server resources. It's down almost constantly, and a lot of us have similar tastes. Tell people NOT to make a new thread, but make sure their posts in this thread follow a clear style that can be sought out by the search engine.
Also it should be noted that if the framework and systemUI weren't compiled properly it will fail in UOT everytime.
I've noted in my thread that Simply Honey is now compatible with UOT. If you're unsure ask your favorite dev if the rom you're using is.

Hey just thought I'd share. Made this one up using the UOT Kitchen. It's looks like the stock battery only slightly larger. Easier to see, but still looks right. It has the percentages, and changes color as you use up the battery. I'm on MikShifted v1.1 Standard Edition and it works great. Anyway here you go. Called it white because of border color.
Nice, I won't install bc I have so many changes I did in a uot kitchen zip but thanks for contributing

Looking Battery Mod For Liberty3 v1.0

Liberty3 offers the 1% battery mod by default but I would like the standard 10% that 2.3.4 offered. Anyone know of a mod available to do this or can provide the method to perform this manually? I can edit files, just need to know what.
Thanks in advance!

Update: I got what I needed by going to UOT Kitchen. Ended up on CM7 anyway!
Mod: Please close this thread. Thanks

I 3Minit Verizon port is being worked on by @andybones....check the thread link in my sig.
Also, the ROM's don't come with the framework. You have to flash them after you flash a ROM. Hope this clarifies things for you!

The instructions in the thread assume you already have a custom recovery installed. So first you need to flash a custom recovery via odin. There are tons of post covering this in the Dev section. Just use the search function. Really once you get a custom recovery you can proceed with my instructions in the link posted above. Thanks @ibcradio for helping out!
