Hmmmmm I also noticed it says 1.2.0 but we were on 1.3.0 before......Looking through the files it seems like this might be posted on wrong forums because the only 1.2.0 I see is in mecha index and that was updated at 3am today.....interesting.

Is this going to get nightlies?
Is this based off ED? EC? Or just the CM7? How do these work. And also, I want to theme a ROM that everyone uses, but most of them gets nightlies, im guessing this one will haev nightlies as well? =/
Is the in call audio fixed on this?

As far as I know, we haven't had a true, clean, non-CM, AOSP ROM since 2.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=773127&highlight=Vanilla). I tried with Froyo with only partial success. It seems that the mods that the CM team has done allow us to work around the fact that HTC hasn't given us new drivers & libs since 2.1 and we are still on a 2.6.29 kernel. So, that's why you see new CM ROMs, but not AOSP.
That's how I understand it anyway. As always, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
And feel free to prove me wrong by building a GB AOSP ROM! I'd love to see one. It's nice to have options.

cool, got it loaded and on nand for later toying. Up to now I've been using a market GB launcher port (Launcher2 its called) on CM7 when the mood hit for a vanilla GB feel (which makes it feel very simular to this rom). I cant explain but there's an envy I get everytime I look at a vanilla nexus gingerbread (and its not the phone). I also had this complex with asop froyo but got over it.

Safest is always full wipe, but if noone in the Tazz 17 thread has said what worked for them, you could do a nandroid, just wipe Dalvik (not .android-secure) and flash over. Then if it gives trouble, nandroid restore your backup, backup your apps your favorite way (if you want to), then do a full wipe and flash, then restore your apps.
I got a copy of the EH09 rom?
Any developers who want this please message me.
This Odin package includes:
* New Radio
* Gingerbread 2.3.4
definitely. maybe it doesn't nuke SD cards!
It is GB so yes, perhaps.
Could be that it fixes the SD Card bug. EH09 sounds a lot newer then EC09.
And it would be------where?

Great news. If this new rom doesn't kill sd cards, then I might finally make the switch back to a Touchwiz-based rom. AOSP roms are still unstable in a lot of ways.

Yea, AOSP still has a few minor bugs but it's heads and tails above anything TW has to offer. With the introduction of fascinatemtd (thanks to jt1134) we can finally do away with TW.

I am using the one A18O has posted. There are pretty much daily updates and a lot of work from the other members in the thread.
Here is a link to the one I am talking about for sure.
The only issue I have had is that it does not do a mediascan on boot, so there is no accessing music from SD. Other than that, pretty stable so far and very few complaints by me. Hell, even the camera app loads.
You have no many choices
As for now you have no many choices: or based on Phothon -http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444637 - which according to replies rather stable or Atrix CM9 pure test build - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403372
guys....not yet time!! wait for some more time and post this ques!

Just download "rescan media" from the market - allows you to force a media scan at any time.
Right now the CM9 ROMS are in alpha stage so things like camera, video playback, and gapps don't work quite right yet.
I'd wait a few months before going into CM9 if I were you.
I'd recommend either Gingermod, or Neutrino Roms for the time being. They're pretty good.
By the way Neutrino developed hinted that there is a possibility for Neutrino CM9. Will be greate

waiting
I am waiting for a stable cm9
cm9
I installed jokersax11's cm9 yesterday, battery life great, no fc's I will be using this as my daily driver from now on. The only thing that may hold someone back is the lack of camera.
So I want your opinion, I have ported a rom from the sensation, it has real beats audio with sense 3.0 (it shows in the notification bar) and has great battery life, stable, ect, ect
I have everything working besides Wifi,Data, and BT
And has some FC's here and there
And some lag in some animations
If i could get this stable would you guys want to try it out???
i dont want to work on this if no one is interested.
EDIT: By trying to Fix WIFI the rom no longer boots -,- ill get back to you guys when i could get this booting while keeping wifi working
EDIT 2: trying to get this booting
EDIT 3: It flashes halfway, then i get an error
EDIT 4: It flashes without any problems, but now i get stuck at the HTC screen
ROM(3/21/12) : http://www.4shared.com/zip/1tUgzCAZ/file.html?
Issues: doesnt want to flash properly, if you could get it to flash, every thing should work great, if you could do anything to make this work please do

honestly, even if it didnt start out stable it would still be cool since we are low on ROMs. it would keep people busy for a while and they could help report bugs (beta testing)
Yea, I would really just love anything to test right now, and I would at least report any bugs that persist.
