HELP! NO xrecovery, NO signal, NO sd-card!! - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys,
I really need your Help!
I've flashed Trips Froyo Miui 1.7 ROM.. so far so good everyting worked great. Then I wanted to flash Z's zKernel but it didn't work, so I tried FreeKernel mod 3.60, but it also didn't work.
When I wanted to reboot phone after flashing FreeKernel it didn't boot up custom Kernel and after booting up the sytem I recogniced that I don't get a signal and sd- card doesn't mount. So I rebooted phone and hoped that everyting would work, but it didn't. So I turned off phone and wanted to restore a working rom via xrecovery, but I sadly had to notice that I can't boot into recovery anymore.
So when I boot up phone it always shows "Prozess system doesn't react" or something like that.
I really don't know what I can do now, so please help me!
greez kalack

If you can, plug in your phone in with flashtool open, if it reads the phone (tells u that busybox is found) then hit ask root perms and then install recovery.

I have already tried that, but it didn't find my phone..

2 options i guess:
1. reinstall stock rom from flashtool or
2. reinstall stock rom from SEUS/PCC

OK I'll try that and I really hope it works.

Flashing stock rom via flashtool worked.
Thanks for your help!

odin back to stock re root and flash again. Have you tried using the toolbox?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954509
So you CAN enter Recovery Mode? If Yes, you can try to flash another rom, or factory reset it, which usually works. If that doesn't work theres 1 more thing to try and this will work.
Download mode.
Odin.
Stock JFD
Off you go to flashing 600 more roms daily

Flashed wrong rom for the kernel and cannot load into flash recovery mode (U20i)

I flashed a custom rom which needed a custom kernel (but i did not install the kernel), now my x10 mini pro freezes at the white sony ericsson logo, i tried loading the flash recovery but it does not load.
This is the link to the rom:-forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026
Its my fault for not reading the instructions properly, if i flash the nAa kernel using flashtool will the problem be solved or is there a different process
Please help me, the help will be really appreciated.
try using seus or pc companion
Are you on stock kernel, right?
Try flahsing stock ROM using Flashtool and see if it works.
Thanks guys.
my cell is working again.
by the way i cant seem to load into recovery anymore, i dont know why
i tried xrecovery and clockworkmod but it doesnt work, so i tried rooting and re-rooting through different tools but to no avail.

So now it seems you're back to stock. Yay!
Did you fully reset the phone after going back to stock? It seems they're not installing because you don't have Superuser permission anymore.
It happened to me when I tried to flash MiniCM7. So I flashed the full stock ROM via Flashtool and managed to get root accees again, so I was able once again to install CWM.

First you need to ROOT (this installs "Superuser" application)
Download SuperOneClick [ http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64062539/s4a...lickv2.3.1.zip ]
You NEED to put your phone on USB Debugging mode
Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging (enable)
You NEED to make sure the Android drivers for your phone are installed. SE PcCompanion has this drivers embeded
[ http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/ ]
Make sure you DO NOT mount your SD card
Click ROOT on SuperOneClick,
Voila... your phone is Rooted

X10 mini (E10) bootlooping after Rom flash

Hello guys,
I've got an X10mini (E10) (second hand but should not branded)
I'm actually stucked in a bootloop. It happened after I tried flashing the miniCM7 ROM with CWM.
I've tried the wipe data/factory reset frome CWM but nothing happened
I've tried the recovery option from my previous backup
Nothing
I've tried reflashing the Stock Rom (found in one of Xda-developers thread)
And I still got a bootloop (with the Sony Ericson logo)
Could anyone help me? =)

Why don't you try a repair with SEUS or PC Companion, that will get you back to original.
You said you did wipe data/factory reset, but did you wipe cache and dalvick-cache too (second one in advanced menu in CWM), because they're filled with useless junk from your old ROM, causing many errors.

You don't have much choice i suppose, i'll give you the download link in a pm
Just download it, put it in the firmwares subfolder where flashtool is installed and flash it to your phone, it will take a while because it flashes everything (kernel and rom), but i hope it will help you

I saw your thread.
I also have an x10 Mini and got stuck in a bootloop (colors swishing around on screen). I rooted, installed xrecovery - what shows up in the screen is cwm recovery v 5,0,2,8. I unlocked the boot loader, flashed this Kernel using flash tool (an older version): U20_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa-14.ftf I tried to downloand nAa 11 but 14 kept coming up, so I put that in the firmware file along with the stock Kernel. I forgot to install the drivers, but the flash tool said it was successful. After disconnecting and starting the phone "Ana" words not the symbol came up and the boot loop began. Alternatively, on start up, I can get into cwm recovery. I didn't save the rom or google app zip on my sd card as I assumed I could that after flashing the Kernel, but the bootloop makes impossible
My goal is to install Android Fire 2.3.
I would really appreciate any guidance.

Connect your phone to your PC using the usb-cable
Boot into CWm (you say you can)
Go into Mounts and Storage
Choose USB-Mass storage
You should be able to access the sd-card from your pc now and copy the ROM and maybe Gapps.

I don't know, apparently it worked fine when you connected it to your pc...
Maybe you could pull all your files off the sd-card to your pc, boot into cwm and format the sd-card (in mounts and storage), then reboot into the rom.
If that's all successful, put the files back on your sd-card.

What would happen if I select "apply update from sd card". This is the second option under CWM recovery.
Should I restore from Nanadroid. i s this necessary?
Could partitioning the sd card help? Thanks again!

The 'Apply Update.zip' does exactly the same thing as the 'Install zip from sd-card', but the first option only works for zip-files named 'update.zip' in the root of your sd-card, the second option will let you browse the sd-card and select a zip-file with any name. The second option is the one you use to install your ROM.
Restoring from nandroid, just fills your internal phone-memory with the old stuff you had in there, it won't affect your sd-card, other than that it reads the nandroid from that sd-card.
Your sd-card needs to be formatted with the fat-filesystem to work properly, so partitioning or not makes not much of a difference, only that the available space for your stuff (music, photo's, etc.) is less because the other partitions take up space too.
If you can flash your ROM in CWM from sd-card I don't really see any problem with your sd-card.
worked like a charm. many thanks!

How to deinstall CWM/Access Flashmode again

I installed CWM for testing a ROM from XDA.
Now I can't connect my device to the PC and it looks like I can't get in flashmode.
PC Companion isn't recognizing my phone.
I tried several cables and charging works - it even prepares the internal storage (notification bar) but I don't see my Xperia P in Explorer and in PC Companion.
It's strange, that the issues came since I installed CWM.
If I uninstalled it, would I get into flashmode or see my device in Explorer? I don't really like the ROM I flashed, I always get force close in several apps.
Also, when I wanted to flash with CWM I made a "X" for backing up my data. Can I restore my system like it was before flash? (While flashing, there were some messages like "backing up" or sth)
And last question: When I flashed CWM I got a message about ROOT, I had to chosse if I want it or not. I choosed yes, but it said "this cannot be undone". I googled and noone posted this ROOT question before. Is this normal?
102 views and noone knows how to do that?
U cant unflash a CWM unless u go back to your stock firmware as CWM comes with different kernels. And the reason why PC and SEUS wont recognize your phone is because you have unlocked it and rooted it with custom kernel. I assume you are using GB coz i faced the internal storage problem with GB stock and the mtp process which is actually stupid of sony. Anywayz, U need to flash the stock firmware again to make those work again plus if you dont want the CWM too. But if you just want to keep your root but no CWM then u got to reflash your stock firmware, go to fastboot mode, flash a stock kernel (GB and ICS have different kernels which u can find over xda), then fastboot your stock kernel again. This procedure will let you keep your root but wont use custom kernels a.k.a CWM. If you are into ICS then u can use the custom kernels coz it wont do any damages or hiccups while u try to connect your phone to PC.
FOR SD CARD MOUNTING OVER GB : SD CARD MOUNTER FOR Xperia S,P,SOLA (GB ONLY)
DOOM KERNEL :DOOMKERNEL ONLY FOR STOCK GB
ADVANCE STOCK KERNEL : ADVANCE STOCK KERNELS FOR ICS

[Q] Boot loop

Hi guys,
Yesterday I finally got to instal a new ROM onto my phone. I've done this before so my phone was already rooted and had the bootloader unlocked. I decided t ogo with Cyanogenmod10. My build was 4.1.B.0.587. I used the tutorial on cyanogenmod wiki and done everything as was said, step by step. I wasn't sure if ClockworkMod would be installed with the rom, so I donwload x-tools and isntalled it form there. Once thaat was done I proceeded to installiion. Everything went fine up until getting into CWM. I am now stuck in a boot loop, constaltly showing the xpera free project logo, then the screen goes dark and this all over and over again. So I searched the net and forums, but couldn't find any one with this problem. Most people either get into CWM and from there can't get further, or they turned the phone on adn after using some application theirs system crashes, but nobody seems to have problems with CWM. I can't get anywhere from here and have no idea what to do. If somebody could please help me, I would be very gratefull! Thanks

WTF... So I charged my phone first so I reach the recommended 85%... Meanwhile I redownloaded the CM10 if it wasn't a bad downnload or something, from the original website. When I have the phone flashed with stock kernel I can get into the CMW recovery. Trying to install CM with the stock kernel is i guess not a good idea right?
EDIT: So I tried downloading CW9 if that wouldn't make a difference, but it's the same story. Once I boot the phone it just keeps looping from the logo to black screen, no LED lights up, nothing. What if I did a factory reset either from CWM or in the normally booted? Could that help in anyway?

Hmmmm...how many times did i have to tell you, you need to FLASH STOCK ROM first...stock rom has stock kernel inside it...flashing STOCK rom will factory reset your phone...it should make your phone like new...after your phone boot normally then you can flash custom kernel (fxp kernel) and boot into recovery using that kernel...then only then you can flash CM10 into your phone....

also if u want to go for a cm (10+) build try LX from here bcuz FXP is NO longer supported! they kleave us. also its very outdated/old/bad
if u flash (any) kernel CWM is inbuilt, so just reflash the kernel using fastboot (cmd commands) , then on power on press the vol up button moretimes!! to enter CWM (must work) i really advice u to use some LX build. (dont forget to wipe partitions bfore flash)

Okay guys, I'm really confused right now. I just couldn't manage to boot into CWM with CM, I tried many versions, none worked. I then applied the exact same steps onto LX and it worked perfectly, I was in CWM after pressing the volume down butto na few times. Now it's been almost a month since I did this and I wanted to change to a differet version again, so I wanted to try CM again, but it's the same thing, I can't get to CWM. Any ideas?
Thanks
