Downloaded app but no video option? Assuming it doesn't work is there an app that talks to Skype?
Works for me though I downloaded a 'hacked' version, one that works with the E3D.

Tested working, thanks. After Fring removed the Skype plugin this is the only alternative for Phone->PC video chatting.
Hope Skype updates their app soon for the 3d.

Hey guys , was just browsing and didnt see this anywhere here . nc2nc2 over at the Epic 4G forum has posted this to get a modded flash that supports hulu on the Epic 4G . I just tried it on my Fascinate and it works like a charm .

Instructions:
1. Boot into Recovery (ClockworkMod). Flash the file from the link below and Reboot
2. Open market, navigate to adobe flash player, and uncheck automatic updates for adobe flash player.
3. Get your hulu on! Open hulu app - Watch hulu!
If you are having problems, uninstall Adobe Flash updates in the Market app and try again.
I had nothing to do with this mod . It worked for me and thought i would spread the word .
Worked great for me. Only issue is it doesnt play in full screen.
Not working for me. I flashed and installed and it says "Hulu is not supported on your platform..."
I installed the apk and flashed the zip. Any ideas? Are others getting this to work?

Scratch that. I did not uninstall flash updates. That is looking like a must. Works great. And as far as not being full screen, just zoom in and you are full screen. Works great.

I uninstalled the Hulu app but the flash edit works great. Video actually looks pretty good in Dolphin browser using the desktop user agent!
It works for me.. but it's really really choppy. Also if I go to hulu.com in the browser it won't work; however, if I follow the link for hi res from the hulu app it will... go figure.

Wont work installs ok according to cwm and apologize installs fine but says its not supported stock and dolphin browser
I did this on tuesday and its been working fine the only problem is if you use a bluetooth headset the audio comes in really choppy

Doesn't matter, put it on SD card anywhere and just install it

Video calls or voice? From Skype to Skype or landline?

I tested this with a friend on his iPhone 4. It worked but it was pretty buggy, half the time the app wouldn't get out of landscape, and it would tell me the other party didn't support video even though it connected properly.
Cant get video chat to work for me.
hey guys im pretty sure most of you know that oovoo isnt officially supported for the evo 3d yet and it doesnt seem like its going to be supported anytime soon because it doesnt even say "coming soon" on their site. Ive done some digging around and it looks like some dev made skype work for the 3d and named it skype 2.0.something My question is does anyone know about an oovoo apk for the 3d?

You don't have to "make" it work, it already does. At least the one on my phone did before I uninstalled because I only knew one person with it.

Where did you get that one from because the version you get from their website says the 3D isn't supported. That was one of the first programs I installed. I emailed them a couple times & left a comment on the Market but never got a response.

hey i actually got the new versiion working. what i did was installed it on my evo and did a TB. then i took the 3 files from TB and inserted them into my TB folder and installed it just data only. works fine

Me either. I also tried the other suggestion of downloading on another phone, TB it & then install on 3D but either using the 1.0 link or the TB method I can't make video calls. It lets me login but the video call button is non responsive. And I can't accept any video call made to the 3D from other phones.

alright this is exactly what i did take the files from this folder place in titanium backup folder on your sd card. afterward open TB and install oovoo from the apps listed. just the app only. enjoy

The .apk file from here worked for me.
Thanks for the apk riassan! Extracted and installed. Got it working but for some reason my FFC shows me upside down on other phones. i've rebooted, wiped cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but still same thing. Anybody else having that problem?

by any chance is there any way anyone can pull the motorola video player apk? i would greatly appreciate it as i screwed up by uninstalling it and i cant get it back, even after a factory reset.

Thank you so much. Downloaded and tried to install, didn't work. I just downloaded another video player from the market and it works better anyways. Also I uninstalled motocast notifications and now I get no SMS notifications lol so guys probably wanna stay away from that one. Using handcent instead now, which that works better as well.

i think this one can't be installed.. you have to copy it to \system\apk and setperm to rw/r/r. anyway, i use MX Video Player and it works awesome.

You can't use it without the needed Blur framework and libraries. Porting OEM apps isn't so easy.
i believed he wasn't trying to port anything as he said he just deleted the video apk

correct...ive tried pushing the apk in adb, no success...ive tried installing it with Titanium Backup from a backup file someone posted, no luck there either it just hangs on the Restoring App screen.
