ebay... kind of pricey, if its mainly a comsetic issue, just get a TPU case to cover it up

try going straight to a sprint store. My camera ring started to peel off and theyy replaced the battery cover for me.

You can try and get this... OEM Battery Door..

battery cover

Oh man after a view days the cover is so sluggish that the device is often open during the day ...
Do you have any idea to solve the problem ?
have the same problem....the battey cover does not seem to click into place or stay closed properly.
Anybody else see this??? Is it a manufacturing fault?
Did you first remove the stylus prior to re-attaching the cover?
Wau I solved it - press the cover from wight to left a bit and it will set best
The same problem here, i'm going to try the tips and otherwise I will buy a new cover I guess

can you exactly tell me how you did it cuz I can't fix it
I have the same problem with my TP2. I just return it to the seller (Fnac in France) for an exchange. They agree to send me a new one.
btw, did you guys remove the plastic film behind teh screen? I dunno if it's meant to be kept on the device or not... strange...
Had my TP2 for around a month now, and the battery cover doesn't seem to fit properly anymore.
Seems a bit dodgy that we have to go and buy new battery covers for it :s
I'm assuming it is the cover itself that is faulty, and not something on the back of the phone. Kinda hard to tell.
See here:

The seller whom I purchased mine from is sending me a replacement back battery cover. I must say, they do have great customer service.

anyone replace there battery yet?

so it seems my battery just isn't what it use to be. phone seems to drop 50% with in hrs nothing running. tried many different roms. I'm figuring more then likely due to constantly being powered via charger. m-f 8hrs plus its in my car dock in my work truck with gps on. then by 9 10 pm at nght i place it on the home charger. weekends seem to be the only time its actually of the chargers. mine is a launch date lte. so wondering if anyone elses battery is shot. i have tep. but of course sprint wants to look at it. im still hboot 1.12. i really don't wanna relock s-on to have them look at it and tell me sorry not replacing. so i figured i would buy a oem replacement battery and have at it. i know i need a t5 and a phone pry. i have both. anyone done this yet with positive results?
Is was wondering the same thing. The last 30% of my battery just disappears. I'm thinking I'll be needing a replacement myself fairly soon
SENT FROM MY LTEVO

I did mine. It's really easy. I tried to disconnect the antenna without tweezers and pulled it out the connector....Don't do that lol.

Now your making me worried. I watch a few diy I don't remember seeing them disconnect a antenna to remove the battery. Just a cap load of screws. All the ones for camera cover. Then under bottom cover. Then pop apart. Didn't see a antenna connect. So I will have to remember watch again. I got the Guitar pick style pry coming. New oem battery. And already have tweezers and t5

Nah don't be worried...I forgot when initially removing the battery it was glued down good and I accidentally grabbed the antenna pulling it out...Sorry been a while...so don't do that. I used the tweezers to put the new antenna on. Sorry for the misinformation

really? wow i just took the screws out. i didn't even use a pry tool. i used my nail to take bottom speaker cover off. as well as top plastic camera cover. then just worked it apart. the glue on the battery was the most pain part. i just kept even pressure and it peeled right up. replaced it used old yellow tape off old battery to hold connection down. and reassembled. all was good.

I was being sarcastic. Battery changed a while ago...dropped my phone. This looks like more fun
When reattaching the bottom piece, is it fully flush, or is it obvious it was replaced?
When someone at the sprint store worked on my original release day device (5 months old at the time), it was obvious the bottom cover had been removed.

ya same for me mine is flush. but when i removed it i did notice the glue tap kinda wanted to roll up. so i basically used my t5 and rolled it flat again before replacing that piece. i bet it bunched the glue tape and they didnt give a rats @$$. that just pops right off. you could fix it.

where did you buy your battery from? mine is also a launch day evo and the battery is just terrible. i found this website: http://www.etradesupply.com/htc-evo-4g-lte-battery-2000mah.html
and thought that it was a pretty good price. is that comparable to the one you bought?

Rubber seal came off charging port flap. Won't close now.

Anyone have any recommendations?
Check eBay or.amazon for a new one. They are cheap and come in a bundle.

Buy from somewhere else and replace by yourself or take to sony but this will charge you because not cover by warranty.
Only place is Ebay. Takes 21/2 weeks to get.

Weird though, I just called Sony in Canada and they are willing to fix/replace my phone that has screen problems, usb port flap came off and speaker problems.
Why can't you just buy the part and they send it? (U have to send the device for that silly little piece right?)
I'm also interested cos I have the same problem

If you guys find a place where to buy please post it I've been looking for it with lo lockangel:
They're on eBay.
Sony needs to change this design...Or...send a couple extra with the device
Buy a magnetic charging cable! Saves the port! Yes you'll still need to open the port for communication of copying files from PC but it would be substantially less compared to opening the port to charge everyday.

If you don't wonna buy new cup, you can buy cheap glue gun,
then you put some glue on your cup, make the hole a little wet, so your glue want stick.
then wait few secs until glue will become a bit harder and close the cup.
Finally, after it will be hard enough, you can cut with razor glue you don't need.
And yeah, you can always warm up that glue with lighter, if you need to do step 2 again.
Works for me, even tested under water, but not for a long time though :good:

From the link it shows the whole flap (w/ rubber gasket). When you said that it works great, did you replace the entire flap or pull the rubber gasket off of the new one and put it onto your current one?
Thanks,
Gery

you cant replace the rubber gasket....it wont stick. And I tried locktite 401, and it ruined the whole gasket instead of setting it in the right position....perhaps you can do it. But you need a microscope
Thanks! I've found a video on youtube showing how to remove the old one for putting the new one on!

Phone's glass battery cover

Hey guys,
the other day heavy rain caught me up on the street, thus my phone was all wet.
It rang, I took it in my hands and it slipped away, and so my rear back glass got broke.
Now I'm looking for replacement, please do not send me to sony service, they're gonna have it for weeks and gonna charge me very much.
Does anyone know where can I get oem replacement for it?
Does this look good to you? http://www.eb

Or this? http://roun
ded.com/sony-xperia-z2-d6502-d6503-d6543-l50w-battery-cover-black-en.html
If not, can you suggest me where to look for it?
And what about water proofing after that? Any chance of having it back?
Regards!

That ebay link will probably be your best bet.
I would just worry that replacements are knock-off and plastic.
Waterproofing can probably be had if the same adhesive seems to be used and the back seems original. Would I throw my phone in the pool afterwards? Probably not...:silly:

It seems to me that have no logo on their plates, and they are out of stock for as long as I've been following them,
so I decided to go for this one
opinions?
did anyone try the above link?
It looks promising but did any one tried the link above and whether it's exatly what's given in picture. I tried eBay but it did not carry nfc antenna in it(I've damaged my nfc while removing back), also xperia logo looked fake on one I ordered.
Any suggestions for where to get exactly original part.

Proper waterproof tape?

My Z5C had battery swollen, so I bought a new battery from ebay and waterproof tape from Aliexpress.
Battery seems good, but the tape sucks.
It is not sticky.
I don't want to use bond or anything that makes it hard to dissemble. So my priority is a proper waterproof tape working like a Sony one.
If you know a link for that, please leave a comment ?
Currently I attached back cover with a normal 3M tape, which looks horrible!!

I found back cover slightly open because of swollen battery.. Maybe it was due to running games overnight while charging the phone.
I don't expect waterproof to be perfect, but at least back cover needs to stay still.. ?
