I installed Xrecovery on my Xperia mini pro and after that i wanted to install FroyoComb. It said that I have to put ClokwordMod first. I did that with Xrecovery, the phone reboot, but it doesnt want to start Xrecovery or ClockwordMod no mather how much I press the back key. I also tried installing Xrecovery the same waye as the first time but still, nothing happens. please help...
When you instal CWM reboot your phone and then long press power button.
In "reboot menu" choose "recovery" and that should boot your phone in CWM.
Make sure you use flashtool (or similar) so you have the correct baseband ROM before attempting to install xrecovery/cwm. If its not right then no amount of back keys presses will work.

Go to this link for info on how to fix your phone.
i have rooted My xperia x10i today. But i cant boot into xrecovery.. I was thinking that my phone has not been rooted yet but when i again tried to root it with superoneclick software it said that deivce is already rooted..
I also tried to install xrecovery from market.. I installed the app and opened it and clicked the button "Install xrecovery" a message apperaed for a litle time saying permission granted to xrecovery by superuser... After that there is a cross sign on the option under that button.... I watched a video in which instead of cross mark there was a tick mark... What is this??? and y?
Download Flashtool. Links are in the dev section. It will root/install xRecovery/do everything else for you. From now on, Flashtool is your best friend.

so again it´s in the development thread but short
Check if the desired rom need unloked bootloader if yes well there is a plugin in xda´s flashtool just use it and it will be fine
Maybe you want to backup your aps via titanium backup.
so if needed flash the desired/required Custom kernel. some roms only work with special kernel´s
Place Kernel´s wifi zip and the zip of desired rom on SD Card
Start xrecovery or cwm most custom kernel´s got both you see in rom description where to flash from.
but for both recovery´s you should wipe data(factory reset) and wipe dalvik Cach (advance settings)
if battery s full 100% it also fits that you can wipe battery stats. maybe your x10 will last 1-2 hours more
flash first the rom itselfs: Install Custum Zip/choose Zip/(Serch zip on sd) Flash
maybe there´s a need of flashing a hotfix same procedure
Flash the wifi modules zip for the kernel if needed
Reboot device (maybe on forst boot it stocks at bootscreen the just pull out the
battery and wat 1-2 minutes than put it back in and try again)
So now your on a custom rom. Many roms got the setup so of needed go thru setup procedure and welcome on your costum droid Xperia x10
After setup or after first enter on home screen reboot device first before you install anythinG it settles the rom to work better/properly
For notice most custom roms need a few hours to settle so dont be to hasty if something doesnt work right properly.
If i helped feel free to thank me
If you dont know which rom to use feel free to pm me i tried many ^^
greets darkmind

An Xperia Mini is not an E10i, the E10i is an Xperia X10 Mini
Should you actually mean the E10i, there are custom firmwares that run on stock kernel, notably Froyo Roms and Gingerbread up to version 2.3.5.
Do you prefer any? I really dont know what I have to do :/

Check your model-number first, it's on the sticker behind the back-cover.
I'll look for some links...
Sony Ericsson E10
SI 1257-5368 CB5 11W46
TYPE: AAD-3880069
FCC ID: PY7A3880069
IC: 4170B-A3880069
This is everything I found on the sticker.
Thanks for your help

That's the latest date i've seen on an x10mini (sure it doesn't read 10w46?)
I wouldn't risk unlocking the bootloader, so try these:
Andread 2.3.5
MiniCM6
or
MiniCM7 (version 2.0.7, based on GB 2.3.5, scroll down the list to find it) the last version to run on stock kernel.
Wow!
Thank you very much!!!
I will reply and inform you about the mobile status
Now I've got a problem.
If I want to install the MiniCM6 I have to Reboot to CWM recovery.
I've extracted the CWM recovery on my SD card.
When I turn the Phone off and turn it On again, pressing and holding the "back" button but nothing is happening

Thank you
Now it's booted up and running! Thanks again!
So I used the recovery installer from Flashtool and installed CWM5. Now I can't install some zips from it. I want to go back to xrecovery.
Also. I have unlocked my bootloader I guess but I installed cyanogenmod 7 zmod so it was gone again. (Was it? ) And my kernel got back to stock so it was slow again. I was experimenting with kernels and doomkernel did not install on the new recovery. Please help. I'm new to android rooting.
xrecovery is always there. When booting up keep pressing the back key to get into xrecovery.
The volume key will get you into CWM5

this is wrong. depends on kernel, some kernel have both. i just searched for such a kernel and didnt find one. Best way is to go to stock kernel and flash the stock rom via seus and then root and install xrec outa flashtool.
