hi all. now im talking about the old version of myplayer (not the new updated) it has the bbc iplayer and the live bbc channels and radio (no itv/ch4 etc...) now just yesterday my myplayer has stopped bbc iplayer streaming but still plays the live channels and im just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues and have a solution ????. the version im on is the snsmyplayer v1.00. cheers in advanced, slym.

yeah im on cm7 too but i flashed jokerdroid again to check and same on that rom too. Mmmmm strange. oh well not a major problem. least we still got m.tvcatchup for other channels (wink) cheers.

Right before I start,, First time here so go easy on me.... My x10i is on platform 2.1 at the moment.. I no that i need PF 2.2 for BBc Iplayer to use Flash player 10.1.... But if I could use another version of flash player for now that would be great.... Now that I've posted this one Ia not a virgin anymore...hehehe
theres an app called myplayer that lets you watch iplayer videos from your phone as well as live stuff so that should solve your problem

Yes. My assumption, although I haven't tried this recently, is that it will require the Flash fix (hack) used to get Hulu and Fancast videos streaming to the gtab. The source is probably setup to stream to the desktop version of the Flash player vs. the Android version. The hack fakes it out by making it think it is streaming to a desktop version of the Flash player.
If I get a chance this evening, I'll give it a whirl to test out this theory.
that sounds like it might work but if i remember correctly yahoo news video used to work a month ago
I just watched multiple videos on the Yahoo website after I instaled the libflashplayer.so hack used for the hulu fix. All the videos played fine with the fix.
I have flashed Eyelinux 1.8 and for anyone wondering it is really great and i would strongly reccomend it.
I have the youtube app but it doesn't play video in HQ. It plays it fine when HQ is unchecked but when HQ is checked it just plays the sound.
What is the fix for this?
I heard some people saying that they got it to work in another thread by installing an older version but i'm not sure which version to install!!

maybe this has something to do with the infamous "black screen"/out of memory bug in android 2.3? Just a wild guess.
I still have sound playing.
The annoying thing is they solved it in the other thread but i can't post there because it's a development thread.

It is not a bug with Ele's rom but an incompatibility between our Hero and the HQ decoding. It does not work any GingerBread Rom, as far I know. I just turn off the HQ to continue enjoying my videos...

Ok, but I have Floyo 1.2.0 installed on my Hero, and HQ doesn't work either...

Running latest CM7 and have tried about all the netflix apk out there.
None worked so I gave up.
Closest I came was audio working, black screen (no video)
Today I was browsing the internet and the same problem occured when trying to play an embeded youtube video. (audio but no video)
So now Im assuming its a problem with flash?
If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it!

Netflix doesn't use flash on android, they stream stuff natively using stagefright and the OMX media framework. Though those 2 problems could be related, it's not due to flash. It's probably a problem with the system media libraries, but plenty have gotten media to work just fine on cm7.
So how do I go about making it work?
No idea, I would read through the CM7 development thread for related issues to yours. I don't use CM7 right now since it's too unstable so I can't debug and tell you directly. I just know what it isn't from my own messing with netflix and debugging it from trying to port the needed libraries to froyo. Some else might be able to chime in and give you a solution

Hi everyone, I am running kahlpowers miui v4 (yes I know it is an old rom and am about to upgrade) but I am having problems with the netflix.apk from the market. When I play a video, it doesnt play smoothly at all. The video buffers fine but the video looks REALLY laggy and the audio is out of sync. My connection is fine because I am connected to wifi. Is anyone else getting this issue too? and if so, what rom are you using?
