[Q] New icon, hollow battery with a check mark - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So after the gingerbread update (using stock motorola battery) I get an icon to the right of the battery icon that looks like a vertical hollow battery with a checkmark...anyone know what that is for and what makes it appear or disappear?

Its the alarm.

Why would you want to do that? As of the moment it isn't possible until we have full root access.

Yeah, I have another app that is showing the battery in the notification bar with a numerical percentage. It is just weird seeing 2 battery indicators up there.

Hi all, anybody know if a battery widget that shows the actual battery percentage? All the ones I've found only does the percentage in increments of 10.

+1 on Battery Monitor Widget Pro
Also, don't you have to have the 1% mod to show anything other than 10% increments?
Ok I don't have the 1% mod. Where do I get it?

You don't need the mod. Battery Monitor Widget (bmw) has a setting for this 1% increment support which you can enable. I use the non-Pro version of bmw and it works well.
I use circle widget.

Part of screen goes blue

Part of my galaxy screen has started to show in blue sometimes. It's nearly always the part in the screenshot and it doesn't matter what app bookmark it put there. Just wondering what it is? Thanks

Red Line on top of screen?

There's this red line on top of my phone that goes from left or right about halfway, I just installed the foxhound rom with nova launcher. Is that what's causing the problem?

does it stay there when using other launchers/playing a game?
if so it's a hardware issue.
No, when a game uses full screen it isn't there, but in a video like the top bar turns horizontal, it's now in horizontal position,

Is it possible it's some kind of a battery level display? Put it on charge and see if the line moves.
hmm , it actually is, how do i actually remove it ?

There should be an option in your settings. It's called the battery bar. It's in the same place you change the battery style

Two phone icons during call

Is there any way to turn off one of the phone icons that appear on the status bar? One icon appears on the far left and another appears to the left of the WiFi icon. Redundant.
Huh. I only have one.
What Rom are you using.

Well I use viper. And its the same on stock.
Does hatka have a settings app like viper? If not it almost sounds like a bug with the Rom.

No settings app, I will contact Mustafa in his thread about these icons.
Update: I'm an idiot, it was the speakerphone icon that appeared.
