Which extension is good for 2.1 x10. - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Which extension is good for 2.1 x10..
Plzz... help me brother n sister.

By extension you mean ROM?
Edit:
If you do, I'll HIGHLY recommend MiniCM6 1.0.2. + X10 Mini Undervolt to increase the battery with a HUGE ammount.
And finally MDDI Fix for fixing any MDDI lag.
So far this is the best combo I have found for the X10 Mini, and its the one I currently use.
Edit: MiniCM6 includes Undervolt and the MDDI lag fix, so no use in doubleinstalling them.
Just make sure you activate them in the CM Menu.
Some might say that you'd need an overclock module aswell.
But I havent found the need for this at all. Undervolting helps the battery with a few extra days and it doesnt affect performance.
The only one I belive COULD be better is FroyoBread v023c.
But the ROM is currently way too unstable to use for everyday use.
Keep an eye out for updates on it. It will hopefully be updated and fixed in the near future.

Extension means sd card partitions.

If you want to stay with a mostly stock ROM with great speed look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913610
Root it, install JIT, delete any apps you don't want or need.
Then if it's still not quick enough, install setcpu to throttle the cpu.

even changing the default home launcher to LauncherPro can make a lot of difference...
You need to update to newest firmware, you can grab it on these forums.
Grab the pre-rooted, jit, etc version. That will be faster, mainly due to JIT, althoug it can take a couple of days to settle and reach full speed.
As you will be rooted you should then trim out unused stuff, how you do this is down to you, you could use Root Explorer to delete the APK's, or use Titanium Backup to get rid of them. If you use TB then you freeze them first to see if they really can go.
Root it install custom rom jit data2sd and you wil get 2560 on quadrant

Overclock causes WLOD?

I don't consider myself a noob when it comes to flashing ROMs, I've been using xRecovery and Flashtool for some time now.
I have looked around XDA but can't find anything relating to my problem, if I have missed it please tell me and close this thread.
I have unlocked my bootloader using the_lasers SEMC CMD, I've flashed Doomlord's v5 Kernel and before that v4 with overclock but every time I try to overclock my X10 I get a WLOD?
Yes I know there was a warning in Doom's thread that the kernel my not work on all X10's but the warning stated that the device may not boot, no mention of WLOD?
I have tried both SetCPU and CPU Master to overclock but this always happens.
Is it me, am I doing something wrong? Making a noob mistake?
Or is this my X10 and a compatibility issue with Doom's kernel?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for looking, JayJ.
EDIT- Just to add I'm currently using Wolf's TW v5c but have also tried this on Z's CM7 with Doom's kernel.
Had no problems overclocking with the zKernel!
Swyped on my WB TW Gingerbread v5c X10i
Yes, overclocking can cause WLOD's. Either because your chip-set can't handle high frequencies or too much/not enough voltage is being supplied.
I, having quite a new x10 can handle overclock quite well. However, due to the default voltages that Doom has set in his kernel, my phone does tend to lag at high frequencies. I fixed this by modifying the init.d file that controls the voltages and set the high frequency voltages slightly higher.
What you could try, is download an app called "Incredicontrol" and experiment. Fist set the high frequency (MHz +) voltages up by 0.0025 each. Reboot, overclock a little, test, if it needs more, do it again, but be careful. Increasing the voltage by too much will most likely cook your CPU and render your phone useless. In other words, be gentle. Also try reducing the voltage to see if that works.
If that doesn't work, you most likely have the temperamental chip-set of death which is practically incapable of performing as a phone should.
Hope you can find something that works for you.
Thanks for the great reply, very informative and helpful. Appreciated!
My X10 is quite old now, I've had it pretty much since release. Also I always thought my CPU may have had issues because my CPU regularly maxes out and freezes the phone up, not so much since 2.3 but was a nightmare on1.6 & 2.1.

Yes and no, the overclock itself can't cause wlod as far as I know, but what can cause it:
Fast overheat due to high temperatures, clock too high + voltage too high + high external or high battery temperature.
Defects on the processor.
The thing is, if you are on Doom's kernel and yet you can't overclock it past 1ghz try increasing the voltage a bit up to 25mv or 50mv on each freq at a time until you reach the correct freq/voltage.
At start my phone couldn't handle 1228 now it can using correct voltage settings(1400mv in my case)

Found gpu overclock module(?) sources

Well, I was googling on overclocking the gpu on msm7227 devices, and guess what I found on the first result: https://github.com/D4rKn3sSyS/MiniPro_GPU_OC
I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to like discuss about it or something, but I can't seem to find a thread concerning this in the x10 mini pro forums....
Sent from my x10 mini running the latest version of minicm 7.
I browsed through the files inside and can't find any numbers related to our gpu clockspeed etc......is this more of a set up, a framework for a module? I'm no developer and I can't read code, so I could be completely wrong.

We all are gonna overclock cpus gpus and bust them and then get another phone soon. better we collect money from now onwards.
Bro, nice idea, but we dont need that for now. we are happy with our phones with the new custom roms.
Thanks!

I doubt he would have hidden it from us if it was working.
Would the mini's gpu would clock well?
I have no idea, but I guess slight frequency increases should play well

Bump!!!
Sent from my x10 mini running the latest version of minicm 7.
i take a look by adding it in my kernel
It isnt working, was a idea, but I never did get help, is hard to modifying GPU clocks, cus I didnt had idea how to do it, anyway that you see there is just the base for any kernel module.

[Q] Where i found fastest and less battery use os? x10 Mini Pro

Hi all, tnx for read
I may know what's "better" as fastest and less battery use os for my x10 Mini Pro, and i want understent before i try, 'cos it requires time and some risk, changing my CM7Pro on v2.1.1.A.0.6 for use after CM7 on nAa kernel. I've read something about that, last should much faster and after downclock and undervolt it should answer me as fastest and less battery use, as i want.
Or some other rom can be better than CM7?
ofc sry for my bad english.

(Q) Best gaming ROM/Configuration for x10 mini pro

Hey guys~! I was wonderin' whats the best rom/configuration for gaming on x10 mini pro....
-by configuration, I mean cpu governor, tweaks, mods, etc, etc~!
-by rom... i guess i dont have to explain this anymore~...
:fingers-crossed:
Sorry, didn't understand what you mean by ROM ¬¬ lol...
Ok, just kiddin , anyway... When I used to play on my X10 Mini Pro, I used MiniCM7Pro lite with Fa kernel, with the OC at: 480Mhz~720Mhz, and performance governo
Anyway, already used 2.1.Clean.0.0 (or something like this) with Stock kernel and no OC and no performance change to play too, amazing ROM I must say.
About nAa ROMs, they are good, but, I don't know why, my gaming experience was better with those two ROMs above, now it's up to you, already gave you my tip
Good gaming - Nowadays I use my Xoom to play

I agreed with XxLordxX, the best performance come within eclair/froyo rom they used small cost of RAM, and that means you can spend more on other app.
XxLordxX, which is the best tweaked froyo rom for everyday use?

Well I'm not sure, the best froyo ROM I used was FroyoBread or something like this
"This Story Ends Where It Began"
GB Roms
If you are looking for a ginerbread rom, I would recommend either PrimeHD ( sadly, the developers support ended a few months ago) or nAa's MiniCM7. The configuration:
CPU 480-720 MHz
Compcache 18%
Activated Kernel Samepage Merging
Allow purging of Assets
VM Heap 48MB
Installing zepellinrox V6 Supercharger and Kickass Kernelizer probably also helps...
