Naztech battery and miui - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Will the naztech 2400 mah battery work with glitch and miui.us 1.7.22? Reason I ask is cause idk if glitch supports 3rd party batteries.

what do you mean by "seems like lately it's the same as stock battery"? Does that mean that it works fine with no problems?

It works no problem just seems like its not holding a charge. But haven't been able to calibrate due to lack of charging while off

Definitely should be its the exact phone lol.
It should work but make sure it charges as there are stories the Epic battery does not charge with a Vibrant phone.

It works fine. Just make sure it is the OG vibe 4g battery. Been using one since release day.

Where can I get one for the lowest price known? Really hard to find it on Tmobile stores, ebay, amazon etc.

Charging while powered off on CM7??

I recently flashed CM7 and I have noticed that when I power the device off and plug the AC wall charger into it the phone automatically rebooted itself to the homescreen and will not charge while powered off regardless of what I do. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if there are any known remedies for this issue? Thanks.

me too
I have galaxy s 2 with miui and that won't charge when off, which is not good when battery totally drained, as now can not charge phone
had to buy 2nd battery, did you find a solution?
May go back to stock rom and try
Just fyi jt resolved this months ago. It had something to do with the kernel if I remember correctly. Any kernel from mid August on should be resolved.

Yes, yes it should be. I thought that was obvious though.

Battery at 111%

Does anyone else get their battery over 100 % ?
I believe its only a JB thing.
I've seen it on ics as well. Don't know what causes it. Been a while.

It's really odd. Isn't it a problem with calibration? Do you use the original battery?

Happened to me with or without calibration.
With and without calibration, and on the stock battery.

Known issue. Does not appear to impact functionality.
Which ROM are you on?
I'm on cna, and the OP looks like they're on cm10. It drops immediately to 99 when I unplug. Doesn't cause problems or anything.

Charging problem

So I unfortunately ended up with the charging bug.
When I put my phone In the wall charger it doesnt want to charge. The charging indicators all turn on but I still lose battery.
I've tested the cord and charger on my friends phone and they work. I've also put in a different battery with the same result. Also booted into safe mode.
Help?

Replace the phone?
I've never had that problem, so have no clue. But if rebooting and pulling the barry doesn't do it, I'd take it to sprint.
What's the rating of charger u are using?

Stock charger my friend.
No apps because it started on the aokp job build 8. I switched back to stick rom but even that didn't help

Yes I think u r right but you see, we guys are not professional or experts. So we can only suggest some possible solution my friend.
And if someone is in trouble, these possibilities can lead him/her to the solution of the problem..
I hope u understand...

I would try reverting back to stock, and if that doesn't work, then i would get a replacement. Sounds like a hardware issue.

Charging but discharging

This doesn't make sense. My phone is charging but my battery is discharging. I've changed batteries but it's not the issue.
What could it be?
Thanks

I have no idea why the screen was on last night.

Some, if not all ROMs have a feature to have screen on while charging, is that what you're describing?
No my phone doesn't charge the battery when it says charging... I've changed batteries but issue is still there

That's a weird situation, somehow your battery just isn't getting voltage. Get an external charger, they sell 2 batts and an external charger for less than $20 on amazon.
I approve this message.

I actually had the same issue when I first installed a custom rom on my s3. All I had to do to fix it was run a quick nandroid restore. Other's that I've talked to who had this issue told me to try different kernels, specifically kernels designed around battery life. Hope this helps
