Hi,
i want install Themes via apk for Themes Chooser (CM 6.01) i have some apk for ldpi but when i install it (Parsing problem).
or must i install via root explorer? also move the apk to system/app/ ? i have tested this but it doesn work

What rom what phone all important thing but if your using a cm7 or cm6 and thay have theme chooser installed change your build prop sdk to 10 reboot install themes
i have x10 mini pro with cyanocomb 1.4
theme chosser is already installed but i can't install themes(.apk)
i test to change the sdk tomorrow thank for help
Sdk is the only thing stopping um ,it takes just a minit to do open build prop n change sdk to 10 done reboot install

First to say:
I like Froyobread. It's a great work of doixanh.
But I don't like the theme form FroyoBread. I prefer the look of SE stock rom.
For now nobody build a SE theme for FB so I have to do this by myself.
I build my own theme form stock SE framework.apk with some little changes.
My things:
framework form SE
SE start anmiation
non-coloured icons in setting app
SE launcher icon for setting app
SE launcher icon for camera app
SE default background in call app
SE smilies in mms/sms app
SE battery icons
To get white statusbar background chose "se - white.xml" in extra-tweaks.
You can find SE default wallpaper in "sd-card\background"
I only test it on Froyobread v012. Maybe it works on racht's Floyo 030 curse it's based on FB v12.
Test it on other custom roms at your own risk!
At the moment I'm not able to decompile and compile any app's so I can't change any things like progressbarcolor and so one...

I think almost 200 icons have to replaced and renamed with SE battery icons. I will try it laster.

I take a look at v015. I can't say if I get it work. So please don't be hopeful!
What ever it takes time. Please be patient.
Please make it work with froyobread 15 also you are wrong you only need to delete 200 stings from xml file and new 10 strings and this icons

I think it don't work with Arc ROM but you can download the zip I add in this post It's the framework from last Arc ROM. With this you only get framework and start animation!
Please be carefull. I don't test it cz I don't use Arc ROM. Make a backup befor try!

Take a look at the first post.
I change the zip file for FBv016 and add SE battery icons.
how can i install ?
- download zip file
- save zip file on sd-card
- start xrecovery
- go to "install custom.zip"
- choose the downloaded zip
- restart phone
finish!

i pulled it from Srom Froyo MIUI by stelios97(thank you stelios for ur gr8 work)...
req:
rooted device with cm6
how to install:
backup original settings.apk
Download the apk.
Put the APK on SDCard
copy to system/apps/* using rootexplorer(replaces original settings.apk) .
set permissions to 644.
Done! reboot! enjoy!

I get the same problem here running minicm6 final.
Wonder what it could be? I also for seom reason decided not to back up the original haha, i guess pulling it out of the original zip wont be too hard though.
On the other hand, looks great and I can still control brightness through the widget on the status bar, so not really a problem!!

Why bootloop? You did something wrong I guess. Before I use update.zip, took a copy of the "stock" cm6 framework. After that all I did was use root explorer and copied the framework back to /system/framework. And it worked!!

Try changing permissions. With root explorer. User read and write and everyone else read.

now i'm trying to port cyanbread CM7 theme to CM 6.2
when i install ICS final on my ace the first thing i saw in the home screen is "Problem Loading Widget", and on the theme changer when I choose the ICS theme it tells me that there is missing assets and i click on apply anyway, and BOOM ... NOTHING HAPPENS
and i cant find the SD card folder ( File Folder ) ..
can someone tell me what wrong in my installment for ICS final ..

Dont know about the rest of the things bt ICS Final does NOT have a file manager pre-installed. U will need to install one from the Market. I would reccomend Doggie Explorer.

Download ICS THEME HDPI by Sonny Sekhon from market. Ignore the missing assets notification. It works. I'm using it and have no problem.

Nothing changes because the theme is already applied.
I think that one is Achep's ICS build026 theme, might be some earlier version.
If you want to change theme you will have to install a CM7 theme and then apply it through theme chooser.
For file explorer i recommend Astro and File Manager, they do everything and the interface is pretty good.

What calender are u talking about?? If u are talking abt the widget on my home screen.. its not a calender. its a 3D Flip lock Sense styled widget.

You shouldn't use any other framework-res.apk, most apps in SDE are framework-dependent which is why all app force closed.
