no support for flyer Hboot 1.07.0000
Well on the revolutionary site it mentions you need to install the htc drivers if you're on windows. Past that, turn on development in phone settings/application, and run the exe file. Easy stuff.

Same with mine - no support for Flyer with HBOOT 1.07.x
I'd settle for making sure there is no carrier IQ in the view and optimising the ROM for the hardware. I'm currently in the process of figuring out what phone the flyer/view is most like to see which tweaks will work properly.
Just ran this on my view hboot 1.09 through ubuntu and it took less than 3 minutes...maybe less than that. Gonna try and see if my recovery and rooted images work.
Using:
Windows 7 64 Bits
Flyer P510e 3G/32GB
HBoot 1.100.000
ROM: 1.48.707.3
I couldn't get it to work.

Make sure the device has fastboot turned on. To do this turn the device off, boot into recovery (power + volume down) then navigate to where it says fastboot, tap the power button once, then reboot the flyer and try the exploit again.
same here and i'm now need to go pee as having too much lemonade
Still not working on my Flyer 32G 3G Thailand Retail HBOOT 1.10.0000
Fastboot was showing during the process and driver install correctly but still fail
Did you make sure fastboot was on via the steps I described in the earlier post? I from the looks of the errors its acting like its not. Do the steps I mentioned and my previous post and try again and let me know what happens. If you already tried that let me know so I can keep on thinking about possible fixes.

device not found
Hi! I am in the same s..t so I tried it all
some people managed to do this and get it working again :
-On the PC, i ran the command 'fastboot boot recoveryimage.img'.
-At this point the command says 'waiting for device' (or something like that).
-I removed the battery.
-I Connected USB.
-I inserted the battery.
-I booted the phone while holding the HOME key.
-The phone still froze at the first splash screen, but then suddenly, the waiting fastboot command detected the phone and booted the recovery image! Yay!
MINE IS EXACTLY LIKE THE YOUTUBE VIDEO and it didn't!
Any other sugestions?

yea i think u have different problems, his goes to recovery.yours is doing the same as my Sapphire which is being collected by HTC tomorrow for repair pressing HOME+POWER will not get to fastboot! it will take you too recovery
and finaly the FIX
finally some one knew how to fix my HERO!
a guy with a lot of electronics knowledge and a device that connected directly to the matherbord and wiped the rom and rewrote it!
rom gets stock if you are smart enough to flush it with the wrong update (CMDA ta a GSM phone)!
so that's the only solution for this kind of situations!
Thanks for all answers. But only kind to solved this is with JTAG to Motherboard.
Thanks!
same issue here
Hi everyone
I've got the same problem showed in that video. Could you guys help me out? Is JTAG the only way? My mobile simply can't be recognize on Windows and ADB just doesn't list the device...
I've tried every key button combination, but all I got is that Out of the Box image (seems like it's the background of the recovery mode or smthg)
I got my phone charged from USB (from my notebook) but windows doesn't recognize it, even if I dloaded the drivers for it.
Any suggestion would be of great help
Thx a bunch

Latest update:
I went to Rogers, and the girl suspect that my phone is broken due to physical damage because there are some scratch on my phone. She send the phone back to HTC for diagnosing. It will take 10 - 15 business days. I'm wondering if HTC will find out that I have su and superuser inside T.T
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bricked my phone. I'll tell you guys what I've done.
When I get my new Evo 3d GSM, the revolutionary for GSM was not released yet.
I used the one for CDMA (HBoot 1.40) to turn my phone to s-off, and yea, it worked. You guys must be blaming me, saying why did you do so? Because at the time when I was rooting my phone, revolutionary did not support GSM yet.
I flashed the recovery at bootloader using fastboot ******* .....
I flashed a root (su/superuser) to my phone. I used the su in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1218969
Yea, that means I have the correct HTC driver and android SDK.
and yea, it's rooted. Everything was totally fine until today...
I saw there's a thread about rooting GSM using new revolutionary which supports GSM.
The thread is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1247392
I thought maybe I should turn s-on, and use the revolutionary for GSM (HBoot 1.49.0007) to make it s-off "properly".
I followed most of the the steps on that thread.
Step 1. Download applicable rom from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1208485
Step 2. Flash rom from attached thread.
I skipped the first and 2nd step, cuz I did not flash my rom to a customer one. I just uninstalled some rogers apps and htc logger. I don't skipping these 2 steps caused the problem at the beginning. But now I think it may caused the problem, because my phone is still in root state!
Step 3. Download and extract android SDK (Already have it)
Step 4. Connect phone in USB debug mode
Step 5. Open an elevated command prompt and cd to the extracted tools folder (Powershell ftw!)
Step 6. type "adb reboot bootloader"
Step 7. type "fastboot oem writesecureflag 3"
Step 8. type "fastboot reboot-bootloader"
Thats it! Bricked!
What's the situation:
I cannot turn it on by any means...The red LED is not on even when I connect it to a charger or my PC.
What I've tried:
---Remove the battery, wait for 10 mins, put the battery back and try to power on,doesn't work.
---Connect to PC, adb and fastboot can't find the device
---Device manager complains "QHSUSB_DLOAD" is not working properly(with a exclamatory mark on the icon). I tried to search this issue, but it seems that none of the similar problems (Device manager complains "QHSUSB_DLOAD") are solved. I also tried to install some driver to let my PC recognize the device (which makes QHSUSB_DLOAD's icon without the exclamatory mark), but adb and fastboot still can't recognize the device.
Please help! Thanks a lot in advance!
Also there is one more question, Rogers gave me a one year's warranty, I bought this phone Aug 2011. My phone is still in warrant, but do they replace my phone due to this kind of problem? I don't know if they can boot up my phone, they'll see s-on or s-off.
Sorry about my broken English, I'm not an arts student
if it won't boot OR communicate with a computer, you should be fine to turn it in for warranty replacement

Did you delete any files that had anything to do with rooting from your SD card before sending it in? I heard HTC askes you to send the phone without the memory card, so hopefully you did that. If not, you're screwed.
I don't know what you wanted to "properly unlock" to begin with. If it was already s-off, you can get s more off than off, you know?
Live and learn, I guess.

With the signature checking it's important you have a completely stock "SHIP" hboot installed, otherwise your phone will refuse to boot. Why they made it like this I don't really know, since all it does it make it 1000x easier to brick, but they did.
thanks, but any chance to fix it
I went from HC back to GB. After runing RUU i got back to stock GB. Wanted to soff and load FlyHIgh rom but....
adb does not ecognize mine device anymore.

Hi folks,
I have a stock phone and I'd like to root it mainly for getting wifi tethering to work. Don't really care about any different roms. Any quick links to what I have to do to have the phone act as a hot spot for my iPad?

If your One Max is on Sprint then you can easily unlock bootloader through HTCDev. Then you can Install TWRP 2.6 and use it to flash superSU 1.91 (Google). You will then be rooted and ready to rock and roll. You can follow this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpj6dEMn9dw for procedure if you're unfamiliar. The vid tutorial is for the HTC One but is the same procedure for One Max. You will need to download adb and fastboot (and appropriate drivers if you are using a windows machine). No drivers are needed if you are using a mac or linux box. You can get the necessary files from here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. Download the appropriate ADT bundle for your platform.
Windows drivers SHOULD be installed by default the 1st time you plug in your phone. They are however installed along with HTC Sync which can cause you connection problems. I would recommend NOT installing HTC Sync as you would most likely have to uninstall it later in order to get these procedures to work. Instead try this link for HTC Drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2089508. Make sure drivers are properly installed BEFORE you plug in your phone. Windows can be a PITA so be sure you can disable antivirus, firewall, and any other running processes that may impede your ability to achieve and maintain a solid connection to your device.
You will also need to enable USB Debugging on your One Max. To enable USB Debugging you need to go to Settings > About > Software Information > More > Build number - tap Build number 7 times to enable developer mode. After you get the window saying "developer mode has been enabled" go back to the main menu in Settings and you'll see you now have "Developer Options" added. In there you will have the ability to enable USB Debugging
Create a folder for ALL your development files that you can easily CD your command prompt to. (Ex. "C:/onemax" for windows or "desktop/onemax" mac/linux) Follow video.
If you are using a Verizon One Max, you will be unable to unlock your bootloader through HTCDev. In this case you will need to S-Off your device you can follow this guide if your Hboot is 2.46 or lower: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473644. If your Hboot is 2.47, rumrunner will not work for you. You will need to consult the firewater guide instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632385. Once you are S-OFF, you can pretty much do anything you want on your One Max. FYI Hboot is HTC's bootloader. You can find out your version by 1. going into Settings > Power - then untick Fast Boot option. 2. shutting down your phone, then 3. hold the volume - key down firmly, then hold down power button until your device boots into the bootloader. Hboot version will be shown at the top of your screen.
Spend a little time familiarizing yourself with whichever procedure you require. Quadruple check you are using the CORRECT FILES for your One Max. You will need a properly working development environment regardless of which procedure you will follow, so set it up first!
Here's hoping you have a Sprint One Max and a Mac LOL Seeings how you only need a simple root!
Good luck!

Well, when I said tomorrow, I meant a month instead.
I checked out the guide Neodiver suggested, and while it was nice, it still had me a bit confused on some of the things. After lots and lots of reading, I started down this path:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2550559
And it worked well, up until between step "F" and step "G" copied here:
f. Boot back into the bootloader, and make sure you're in fastboot. Issue the command fastboot flash boot boot.img. If all is well, the unsecure kernel is now on your phone! Now delete the boot.img from that directory (It'll mess with rumrunner).
g. Unzip the rumrunner contents into the adb/fastboot directory and run the soju.exe. Follow the prompt. If all goes well, you should now have an SOFF television in your hand
It DID flash the boot.img fine, but when I tried to run soju.exe and read the disclaimer it said to make sure the adb saw my device, and sure enough, it does not anymore. ADB WILL see my device when I simply boot up normally, but when I boot to the fastboot usb screen, it no longer sees it.
I'm going to bed and toss and turn with dreams of my phone chasing me down hallways, I'll check for any advice when I wake up.
Again, to be clear, my phone boots fine, all features seem to work and I did all steps up until running rumrunner, at which point in fastboot usb mode, adb won't see my device.
Night, and thanks in advance!

You are locked and S-ON so it will be hard to find a RUU that matches that specific firmware.
If you have anything stored on your internal storage this next step will most likely delete it. You may want to try to select factory reset or factory wipe. I forget what the menu says on the HBOOT screen.

HI dear friend.
The problem is I can not enter to any of those options!
Trying to select any of them (fastboot, factory reset,recovery...) ends up in very bad and long ganging.

Usually there is another line with either HTC__001 or something just like it.
But it may be totally bricked... If the computer can detect it is in fastboot mode you can try installing htc sync manager and see if it can download and do a RUU restore on it.

Unfortunately the PC doesn't recognize my device. Also no sign of fastboot recognizance.
Maybe the device is totally bricked as you said.

One last option...
You will need to download this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24349802275799281
Rename that long file to 0P3PIMG.zip
You will need to copy over 0P3PIMG.zip to your sdcard. The sdcard must be formatted to fat32 in order for HBOOT to detect it.
Insert sdcard into your max
Boot into HBOOT

Thanks a lot. Now I am far from home. Soon will try the last option and inform you about the results.
Sorry not trying to Jack thread but I need help. I flashed cm13 and after that I have not had any service. I went back to the Rom I had previously and still no service. I've tried all the ## codes and tried that to no avail as well. Flyhalf I know you're well versed, what can I do?

HI dear flyhalf
I did exactly what you said.the hboot recognized the. Zip file. Checked it and tried to update hboot. But unfortunately when hboot asked "do you want to update?"(Volume up =yes, volume down =no) and I pressed volume up ,the device hangs and does not proceed.
Hopeless and frustrated!
