Sometimes i receive a different error.
"this could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. Please try again when connected to a mobile network, or connect to a wi-fi network. If the problem continues, call customer care."
However data services are enabled, as wifi or 3G, internet etc all work.
thx.
I just read on a web site that fu**ed Turkish Telekom has banned some of Google servers (google translate, maps etc). That means, i have to wait until fu**ed Turkish Telekom has solved this issue.
Thx a lot to everyone.

Have you tried different wi-fi networks?
This sounds like your wifi network -or at least it's internet connection- is restrictively filtered through a firewall.
Are you by any chance in a corporate, university or otherwise managed/shared network?
no i am using my house wifi
everything works fine like facebook ap gmail browsing etc all
but drop box and s voice only working on mobile data
no there is no filter
i have tried it on other wifi as well
same here.Doesnt work on wifi.

seems like its a bug have to claim warranty
so anyone can help?
I had the opposite problem. Non http apps would only work on wifi and not hspa. I just changed my apn settings and it fixed it. So I can only imagine it's a network issue, not letting certain ports through maybe.

I am posting this on behalf of my colleague who owns a SGS-3. He is unable to use Google services (like gtalk, gmail, currents while he is connected to mobile 2G/3G network. But everything works fine when he is connected to Wifi network. The internet connectivity in 2G/3G through mobile data works fine as he can browse the net, open other applications that use internet without any issues. Has anyone faced the same issue and can give a workaround for this?

i guess he installed some firewall? you checked his apps?
Ive got exactly this problem over the weekend.
I was on CM10 0803 (with the new kernel) and the data signal was always gray (no google services). Only on wifi I could use Gtalk, and such.
After atempting to flash Siyah i got stuck on boot screen, proceed to full wipe.
I did o Dalvik, Cache, Data, Facotry wipe, then flashed 0803, gapps, CM10 0803 kernel, then LG8 modem.
Now it works!
same proble
hi there i am also experiencing same problem as the other & did clear google services framework as well as searched for flashaddicter but did'nt helped pls give another solution.
I have searched the Internet for any solutions for this problem. Google Playstore can't connect to the internet (it says no connection). Wifi connection is OK. I can browse the web and the apps (that needs internet connection) works fine. The wifi notification icon is color gray (I know that it must be blue if there is internet connection). I've tried cleaning Playstore's cache, re-install the PlayStore, checked the system date &a time, and reseting the tablet, still the problem exist.
I don't think that the PlayStore caused the problem.
Is there any other solutions other than the ones mentioned above. Do I need to re-install a driver or something? Can re-installing/installing a firmware fix this?
My tablet: SoftwinerEvb; Android 4.0.4. (a not so well known firmware)
