Nope, You Have A Choice Of What You Want. It Sounds Like You Need To Be Bone Stock With The Bootstrap.
I'm pretty sure the pre-rooted version is the full update with preloaded root access so I'd say just the root will cover you.

P3 said on twitter he would make the files available to the people who paid for TBH, while he didnt specifically say it, i would imagine he is leaking it to them first and will probably have the links set up later. Makes sense, just means we gotta wait longer. Feel free to call BS on me if you have TBH and its not there, im just speculating out of boredom.

i had the same question like 15 minutes ago when i saw his twitter post about TBH. It is apparantly and app made by a group of phone hackers to distribute leaked files, they charge for the app because, according to a forum post by P3, it does cost money to get sbf files leaked. Im not 100% certain all the features of the app because i dont own it, if you google 'p3droid tbh' you can probably learn more about it.

I am curious to know what is so different about his update script that allows it to install root. From my understanding you have to have the su app in /system/bin, perhaps it's just an added line of script that installs it during the update. Either way I wish he would go ahead and release the links instead of dangling this in front of everyone.

If you haven't been following him on Twitter or Facebook or Google+, Koush has been a little busy, trying to get some money for his hard work. He's been developing an app called DeskSMS that forwards and replies to txt messages with either GTalk or Gmail. There's a web interface and it's pretty sweet. Check out his Google+ page Koushik Dutta or the free beta app in the market. The public beta is apparently ending very soon, so try while you can.

eric,
i never saw your posts before you changed them. doesn't matter.
if you completed an alternate bootstrap or recovery for the x2, then release it. there's no harm in having more than one recovery. on the contrary, the user community will benefit. choice, it's a good thing.

The thing is i'm not a dev i was a tester, the dev kinda dropped out, but the chinese cwr was a temporary solution, not a daily driver, thats why i was looking at the atrix method ( for the second time), we need something more stable, we need koush's magic, but there is no way of getting koush, ya know
Mistawolfe. You talk about someone being annoying, you come into threads trying to start something everytime you reply. That's annoying. And you don't even really know what you're talking about most The time. Do us all a favor and quit being a wap.

Koush probably will support, but he won't do out on his own.
We will most likely need a dev to work with Koush to get it to work.

Would the scripts used to boost speed work on Liberty's test build? Mine has started to lag a bit and I was wondering if anyone has tried this yet.
I am willing to try it but I am at work and cannot plug in to flash it right now.

I assume you mean the SuperCharger script?
They work on pretty much any phone/build/ROM/etc. I haven't run into one yet that it flat-out doesn't work on. It is just changing the internals of how Android works, not adding anything additional.
The only hiccup would be how the tweaks are stuck so they persist across reboots. Should "just work" but there's some tips if it doesn't.
Yeah those would be the ones, I looked in the thread for speedy and I copied and pasted the init.d file from V6 into the system/ect file and rebooted twice.
It then says to look for the "itworks" file. But is see nothing. I will try to flash it when I get home but thank you for the answer!

I started running the supercharger scripts a couple days after I loaded up Liberty to see what was happening, things felt a little more snappy. But my knowledge of scripts isn't too good, so that's about all I can offer ; )

Indeed. I found that thread a while back and spammed it all over my phone forums. Very good info. If you really want to get nerdy - How to configure Android's *internal* taskkiller - that got me into researching how Android works with memory internally. Someone suggested I was crazy for doing it manually, and I should just use zepp's script. They were right .
And yes, I am the new Sheriff in town. I don't have a (an?) X2, but hey I'll still try to be fair even tho I own an evil HTC device ... I won't even go into how evil the device truly is, we'll just leave it at that.

I was wondering the same thing before - I was looking through the forums for it to no avail. Seems like it was discontinued or the thread was deleted pending a rewrite of the ROM. It was nice but VERY unstable for me. Random reboots leading into bootloops, etc.
That's too bad about it not being around, but I'm running it on my phone right now and I haven't had any bootloops or strange behavior. Oh well, guess I gotta look for something else. Hope AOSP is around the corner, but I just put Go Launcher on it anyway.
Thanks man for the heads up.

Thats soooo olddd omg. There is an app called carrier iq to tell if u if you have it. Most of providers have removed and almost every single custom rom has it removed. Dude this article is form december 2011.
That's old news. Like, really old. Look at the date on the article. Verizon doesn't use CIQ on any of it's devices. It may use something else, but so far we don't know of anything, so any claims otherwise are just FUD.
Edit: ninja'd
