i have xperia x10i 2.1 then updated it to Gingerbread using PC companion yesterday, the download and update was successful but when i tried to power it on it just give me a green LED blink then vibrate but won't boot up, i know booting after update may take several minutes but it took me almost 2hours waiting but nothing happens,
i tried removing the battery for 30sec then put it back, it blinks then vibrate but still wont boot up, after 5sec it just vibrates continuously, you have to remove the battery to make it stop.
i also tried SEUS , updated successfully but still wont boot up, it just vibrates continuously.
i tried to downgrade to 1.6 , flashing was successful but still wont boot, pressed the power button then after 30min it started vibrating continuously
i also tried reflashing with 2.1 generic but same result as above
then, again i used SEUS repair, download and update was successful but still wont boot, this time i waited several hours but nothing happens even vibration did not happend, after 5hours it started to blink Red LED
pls help me
how much percentage was on your battery before u doing all this flahses?
i made sure that i have 50%+ battery before flashing
but u done a lot of flashing after the 2.3 update right?... try charge your phone offline .. see if it's charging
BTW i manage to borrow x10i from a friend,
i tried charging it using wall socket, but it gives me green LED light immediately, as if its going to flash mode, (i remove my battery and inserted it to the borrowed x10i and its charging well)
then i tried to run SEUS again, the update runned without pressing the back key, update was successful but stil wont boot only vibrates continuously.
okay... i have been in this situation... firstly, charge your battery through your friend's phone, then flash the 2.1 firmware through flashtool
charging now, feedback later
thank you
cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still doesn't work ... any more suggestions?
hi, i have the same problem with my x10a, any solution? can some one help me?
Hi,
Last night, i tried to root my Xperia x10i phone, following the steps in this article:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711907
After completing the 1st step, i tried to boot my phone. I get the usual vibration when booting, and after a second or two, the phone had started vibrating endlessly.
Then i tried to recover it using PC Companion (Connected in flash mode). It downloaded the firmware and installed it to the phone flawlessly.
I disconnected the phone, in switch on. Get the usual vibration, and then the screen backlight starts to turn on and off constantly. As the PC Companion says this could happens for a few minutes at first boot after update, i waited, but it simply remains doing the same thing, and never show the SE logo.
I tried to repair again, this time using SEUS, following all the instruction, with same result.
I dont know what else can i do... Please Help!!!

You mean try to flash it to 2.1? Or to 1.6?
flash it to 2.1
Ok. I've just tried to flash with a 2.1 x10i generic rom and a 2.3 x10i generic rom, following the steps in the video. Dont work...
hmm.. weird, any1 can help here?
Yesterday, i left the phone in the office, with the battery out, hoping that something i read in a forum, about this could work, was true. Today i take the phone, put the battery back, and turn on the phone, and... No luck... My xperia is still dead...
Try using SEUS instead of PC Companion.
Follow the instructions ins SEUS and make sure that the phone is off and hold down the BACK button before you plug in the USB cable and make sure you keep it pressed down until the software tells you otherwise.
I've done so, but still dont work... But i'll try again...
I've just tried with SEUS, which download the 2.3 update. SEUS run all the way, and says disconect and turn on. Same result...
Any sugestion?? I almost give up on this... =(

Nope done that and nothing it only vibrates and doesn't stop
After doing a load of work on my x8, I decided to fix my x10 mini that's been lying around.
The first problem I encountered was the fact that it automatically boots up when it's been shut off, being the reason I stopped using it.
Second problem is that I can't seem to boot it in flash mode. The problems may be connected.
I've installed the drivers needed through flashtool and it works fine for my x8, but when I shut down my x10 mini and hold back, it just wont connect. The screen stays black and nothing happens...
I've searched for a while and haven't found anything, but then again I'm not known for being a thorough lurker.
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm a bit confused here.. your phone automatically restarts when you turn it off, but when you try to connect it in flash-mode it does nothing? not even start?
Anyway, to me it sounds like your powerbutton gets stuck a bit every now and then, which might explain it automatically restarting after you turn it off, and if it's stuck it might prevent you from entering flash-mode too. My two cents...
Hi. My xperia Neo crashed, I tried to send a photo via bluetooth and the phone just turned off. I tried to turn it on, it appears the "SONY" screen, then the "XPERIA" screen, and then it restarts, over and over again with the same 2 screens. I searched topics, they say that I have to flash it, but I can't start the phone in flash mode, with power and back buttons, any software (Companion, flashtool) don't detect the phone. Is there any solution?
Just like death

Hi, I´ve got similar problem. A year ago my Neo V went dead (I thought so). Just for fun, I tried to connect it to PC yesterday and what happened? It started charging and after few minutes I started it (YAAAY)! So I thought It was just some bug that disapiered after discharging. So I did a hard reset, to gain factory settings, repair the firmware via PCcompanion, everything was OK until I shove a memory card inside. After that it died again. Its not charging, no reaction after connecting to PC, no reaction on ON/OFF button, no reaction for button-hard-reset, no response while trying flashing with EMMA or FLASHTOOL, nothing... Does anybody knows what to do with it or do I have to wait again until it discharge and pray it would work after that?
help
I have the same problem as you did it to solve? :crying:
Hi guys, I have a samsung galaxy j600fn/ds, tryed to flash twrp, something went wrong and now I'm locked on the ''Samsung'' logo screen
I guess it is brick, though I'm totally stuck at the screen, the phone won't even turn off, so I don't know how to acces download mode to install stock firmware.. anyone can be of help?
EDIT: solved.. of course the solution was just to wait for the battery to be completley depleted, I just got scared there not beeing able to do anything
Wait-
So you just let your phone in bootloop all night (?), then you charge it without turning it on,
waited till 30%, and then you put it in download mode and installed the firmwere?
Does it really work? 'cause I tried to do that before, and the bootloop stopped. I tought I ended up into an hard brick.
I pressed powen and tried to put the phone into download mode, but nothing.
I put the usb on my pc, and odin was actually reading it, so I tried again and again to get into the download mode.
Afret 30 minutes, i pressed power again, (and finally) the boorloop restarted.
Well um.. the phone now is probably at 60%.. I hope it wont stop again, and I hope this method will work.
