Two words..... THE BEST!
ETA: Used it for YEARS on my WM devices and was really bummed when I switched to Android and he didn't have the app for the OS. So happy to see that has changed and looking forward to buying the app when it's official. It will be well worth the asking price, whatever it is.

Don't forget to update any plug-in's you were using as they were updated as well.
It's definitely king of the file explorer hill.

WirelessTime for Android

Hello at All.
I am the guy who have make WirelessTime for WM
But now I play with Android (with one HTC HD2, I'm not ready yet too leave WM ) with this very nice Rom...
So, i'm looking for one good software (free of course ) like WirelessTime but under Androïd.
Some suggestions will be cool...
not sure if this is what you're after but check those apps:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/juicedefender-battery-saver/com.latedroid.juicedefender
and it's paid, feature-extending brother: http://www.appbrain.com/app/ultimatejuice/com.latedroid.ultimatejuice
also there is this, which is related but more in a battery-saving sense than a scheduler: http://www.appbrain.com/app/superpower-xda-beta-v0-63/nl.morose.superpower
it's being developed by xda-mod ChainFire over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=807989
Thanks , I will test SuperPower
Shame they upped the paid version of JuiceDefender from $1.36 to over $5
I find it

When I had my HTC/AT&T Pure I loved WirelessTime. Now that I have an HTC/AT&T Inspire I am using the Timeriffic and I truly miss WirelessTime. The interface was much better. I loved the idea that I could set each function to turn on/off independently of each other and as many times as I needed per day. I miss WirelessTime.

In re: to Timeriffic - a user can set up any of the items to control via an action, and they should all be independent as many times as needed. Is there a specific example you need?
I think that, nbkcu33, speak about the tempo function in WirelessTime.
See this picture:
You can define some status for X minutes or hours coming, and after will be back at "normal" status
----
Maybe one suggestion, One window more, missing, with graphical status, just to better see, like this picture:
rdrrlabs take my suggestions it's free http://media.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon12.gif[/url]
But thanks again rdrrlabs for Timeriffic, I use it everyday.
Thanks... We will look into how we might update these ideas. I am not promising we will or when it would happen. Thanks again.

What’s the best calculator for NC?

Any advice? Thank you.
Sent from my LogicPD Zoom2 using Tapatalk
RealCalc from the app market is amazing. It was on my phone, dont see why it wouldnt be even better on a larger device.
I really like the TI clones (TI-83/85/86), although they are overkill for many uses.
They are a bit cramped on a phone, though, so I'd really like to run them on my NC. However they won't run on the default 2.1 OS; they require Froyo.

HandyCalc by far is the most capable, easiest to use. Does graphing, multi-variable calculus, and on top of that, you can do currency conversions in it that are calculated using live and daily updated conversion rates.

Yes handycalc is also a very good one! I love the fact that it graphs, I just wish it had graphing lines, or grid lines if thats what you call them.

TI-86 on Froyo Nook.
I'm looking for a simple calculator with better interface, handycalc or some others don't fit well with bigger screen, they are best for phones.

Windows Compact 7 on Gen8 Devices?

Hey,
I just see "Windows Compact 7" at the net

Thats it, cool, isn't it?
It has ARM support, so i thought we could try it
I read at Microsoft Page that everybody is allowed to develop his own version of Windows Compact 7 (Open-Source)
It has even Usb-Host support!
You can read it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/de-de/products/windowsce/compact7.mspx
I can't do this, i dont be a developer, but i just want to know how you guys thinking about this and maybe a developer could take a look at this..
Greetings,
Lennb
I'm sure this all can be replicated in a home replacement app.

That wasnt my question
I know that this design can be maked in an Launcher but the other features of Windows Compact 7 does look too
What do you want/need from that? (it's not compatible with Windows desktop apps, none of the windows apps could work)

I know, but maybe in the future there's an app market for that
Its a pretty young project, but it got my heart
Joking^^ But its very pretty and Microsoft made (nearly) just good OS's
Edit: Apparently theres an "App Market/Store" (Look at the Picture i've posted)
I started playing with this a few weeks ago. Put together an initial test NK.bin using the SDK for a cortex A8, but could not find anyway to get the archos SDE to boot the nk.bin. if someone knows how to do this I would love to play with this a little more, unfortunately I know a lot about windowsce software, but very little about boot loaders.

Someone needs to permaban him.
Why? Give him a chance, he's new, he only has 12 posts..
Has anyone tried the install? Some guy here said he'd had it, but when does the official one come out?

"for the last hour I play with this 3.0.5
findings as for now
accelerometer fault from 3.0.4 present and annoing as ever
sensitivity good
various craschess and hangouts with more than 4 windows open
browser sluggish
and for now that's it
worth to mention that 3.0.5 comes with development access lock only exactly this same as 3.0.3
so to log to your profile you need change server in impostah , or many you have an account in Hp dev server?
regards to all
will try to post film on YouTube with findings"
That's all we know for now..I don't think the update is all that big.
What's new in 3.0.5? Is there any benefit in upgrading vs the loss of patches and kernel overclocks?
Hymm frankly speaking there are not too much.
you can see a comparison
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gziDs5qGYt8
it is bit more optimized with this same sound and accelerometer problems as 3.0.4
if you can wait
regards
Well, now we're waiting for 3.06.
We need that boot time down to 30 seconds.
Some UI changes-
Additional features-
More customization-

What do you want to see made first? A package installer or an app launcher?

Poll is at the top of the thread. I've looked at the UWP classes and realised that these two projects are possible. I'm not sure which one I'd like to start first though so I'm leaving it up to you guys to decide. Do you want to see a package installer or app launcher for Windows 10 Mobile first?
P.S. After the app launcher is made, maybe we could replace the start screen completely?
(They will work on Desktops too but these projects make more sense being for phones only).
Poll has been added now. Sorry, forgot to add it earlier. Now you can vote!

Background tasks are still super limited though. Even with restricted/special capabilities being used. Sorry it just wouldn't be as good as the one on Android :'(
Well the majority voted for an app launcher so that's what I'm going to do. I'm also working on an app store if you haven't seen it already: https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10-mobile/creating-party-windows-10-store-t3640719
It's pretty much your standard home screen. Nothing super revolutionary, well not yet anyway...

Until Windows 10 Mobile gets cracked open completely, those apps aren't going to be made any time soon.
I actually got it to work!
Here is a GIF of the app launcher in action: https://i.imgur.com/wOEckrK.gifv
Well I've basically finished the App Launcher. (Link to thread about it is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/wi...d-games/uwp-app-launcher-source-code-t3667562).
Next up is the package installer
