I was reading some threads and I found this little thing called Call delay patch which may work for fixing the mute of the mic during the first secs of a call!
This is awesome news... I've just found it and I'm installing, hopefully this will kill this obnoxious bug.
Sorry if this post was done before... I think this should be a thread so more ppl try the fix and give feedback.
The official thread of this app can be found HERE

I just bought my wonderful XDA...but I really need that feature which I can easly find in most common phones.
How can I make it stop ringing without sendind the busy tone(and refusing the call)?
Is there an application which realize this feature?
Thank you for your help and sorry if it has been discussed before in other posts.
You could set the ring tone to some silence...
I'm sorry but...if I set the ringtone to silent it will never ring...I often need to stop ringing when I see the caller...obviously without refusing his call.
Sorry if I didn't understand your answer
Thanks
It's OK, I just didn't understand your question
You can silent the ringing my sliding the volume button up or down.
ehm,...does it work also in the first XDA(which has a solid, not sliding button)? I will be able to try it with my hands only tomorrow, when the PDA-phone will be my birthday present.
I ask you this because the feature is not mentioned in the User Manual I have just read.
Thank you again for your answers.

Thank you very much fot your help.
I'll try that software.
Bye
For XDA I:
Just push the volume button once or twice, and the sound of ringing will be off.
Don't forget to push the same button again afterwards, otherwise it will remain silent.
For XDA II:
Slide the volume button down once
Thank you veru much...
Infact Xda was silent after that operation...,now it's all ok!

The echo is disappearing when I turn off the noise reduction. Also with the echo my voice is very low ... and by turning the noise reduction everything is ok. Can you tell me can i fix this with some software or i should go to replace it in the store from where i bought it. Is this software issue or hardware ... i have rooted my phone and it is with darkyrom and i am affraid that my warranty is gone.
I read every theme in the forum and googled everywhere but cant find any true solution ... i tried with darkyrom 2.3.5 and again the same thing .. i just want to disable totally the NOISE REDUCTION during call instead i disable it everytime when i answer a call.

Hey
I'm searching for CustomROM's that have the Noise Reduction set to OFF by default or have the possibility to install a mod for this ? If you are on a ROM that have this feature, plz post it here.
Thx alot
Mines not set to off by default, you set it yourself when you hit the menu tab during a call.Theres a call recordind mod file also.Take a look if you like.

Yeah. I know that is possible to switch it off during the call. But it's just annoying to do this in each call. Because of that, i was searching for a solution to have it off by default. But thanks anyway for the reply.

See this thread. It can offer details on how to recompile phone.apk to have NR off by default (except for the first call only after a reboot). If you browse the thread, some people have posted their recompiled .apk's with this feature. (NR off by default)
EDIT: I followed the link from cooza above; that ROM has this mod built into it. So he essentially gave you what you are asking for.
Ever since ICS was introduced, we lost the ability to have separate volume levels for our ringtones and notifications. I've looked high and low using every search query I could think of on Google, XDA, and a couple other phone forums. I've found tons of posts reporting it as a bug and some posts about apps that supposedly fix the issue.
I've tried many of the apps and they all seem to be a work around. I do not think this is a bug that Google overlooked. I think they did this intentionally. I thought I read somewhere that they removed the functionality because of a patent issue with Apple. Now, I can't find where I read that and I couldn't find more sources backing up the claim.
This issue has annoyed the hell out of me for a long time and I am surprised I can't find any blog posts going into this issue.
Does anyone know why the functionality was removed? What is the best work around?
Bueller?

Looking for an app that allows me to easily switch from Bluetooth to phone speaker for videos and such. Lg had a feature built in on the notification panel that allowed me to quickly switch between connected BT devices and phone speaker for audio. I haven't found anything like that on this phone. I have to completely turn off my bluetooth if I want to show a video to somebody really quick. Very frustrating
Please delete thread. After much searching I found it.
Can you share the app details?
Sounds like an interesting use case.
Thanks

Dude. If you find a solution to a problem you've asked about post it instead of just saying you fixed it. That way you might aid others that experience the same issue

Dude, not a single person replied inquiring before I asked to have it deleted . All you have to do is go to the "now playing" tab on the notification panel, and select the speaker you want the audio to come out of.
