What are you waiting for? Back that thing up and start flashing.

I would use TWRP leave the defaults selected and you want at least one wimax backup so check that (save a ton of space on your sd card and us compression too).
And then I would post in the correct forum.
Hehe just saw your edit.
And that too.

Would simply copying the wimax.win and wimax.md5 from the TWRP Backups folder on my SD card preserve my wimax keys in case something happens to the card?
Also, how can you lose your wimax keys? Was it possible for older versions of clockwork to flash over it or something?

I'm uploading to dropbox right now. It might take a while though (my connection isn't the fastest).
Well dropbox isn't letting me upload any files (2D or 3D)

I personally wouldnt, it is probably baked pretty deep into sense. If anything just freeze it with titanium backup and see how your phone behaves.

So I had an LTE before this one and I make a backup and using the same recovery as before and now when I try to restore it won't find it
Anyone??
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Did you copy the backups to the same place you had them in the other phone? what is the error message you get? and what recovery you have ?
Yes its in twrp and I don't see them
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
it doesnt see them because they are stored according to the device ID, make a back up of something small like cache, then put your old back up in that folder so you know where its at. my kindle fire is twrp/backup/000000000000 for example. your htc might be twrp/backup/1111111111 and your old one was twrp/backup/111111111112
Ok I'm going to try that

You can also remove some things from the zip file before you flash it.
Look in /system/app/ and /data/app/

You can use either Romcleaner or Titanium Backup. Only use Titanium if you know exactly which files you want removed, or you may leave behind a whole pile of useless apps that require something you uninstalled for them to run properly.
