Can I factory reset my rooted phone?

I know this is a dumb question -_- But I had to ask it.
I can I factory reset my phone even though it has a custom rom (ICScrewD 2.0.1) and its rooted?
Would it mess it up?
Yes, just follow these steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20229527&postcount=46

The only thing happening can be that with flashing another rom it might include a different radio/modem that might give you worse connection.
Nevertheless you can flash your region's specific radio separate (for that look in General stickies for the modem/radio collection).
WARNING
If you are on Sprint you are in the wrong section and you risk bricking your phone if you flash anything from the international i9300 forum

And a warning flashing onon this firmware can lead to u hardbrick
There aren't any absolutely specific instructions, same method to root as any other version (search/learn/read). Flash Odin version of Siyah so you're free of the brickbug then you can flash whatever you want/wipe.etc.
Edit - Post above mine. Again, you'd better be around to hold the OP's hand when he has questions about using the method you linked to from another site (which frankly is convoluted and contains so many unnecessary steps it ain't funny). The rest of us won't be. Stop doing that.

Thanks, but is there any tutorials with in XDA ?
As you've already been told (reading not a strong point eh ?), yes. Guides.
They're simple if you take your time. If you don't, you may well break your phone.

The guy only will respond to and press the Thanks-button for those who give him answers he likes. He just ignores the rest.
If he bricks his device, it's his own fault.

Solution
As the hotfile.com was permanantly shutdown, it was difficult for me to find out the stock firmware for your device.
According to your description, I found this rom to match with it.
Download it and flash it like you did before.
Ensure you have followed the precautions that I have mentioned before.
If you want other Samsung S3 firmwares, here is the link to the same website: Click here to view
Try to flash it again and check whether it works.
If it doesn't, PM me soon. I will try to provide another solution.
Press thanks if I have helped you.

The guide you made for flashing is great :good: But the problem is sammobile has each and every firmware uploaded on hotfile.com. Now as it is closed, it is impossible for anyone to download these firmware packages. Sammobile also now trying to reupload the files on another base site and also this process is not yet complete.

I am sorry I didn't mention precautions anywhere before. It was another thread. Lol
---------- Post added at 07:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:56 PM ----------
Precautions:
Make sure you flash stock rom after enabling download mode.
Also make sure you have downloaded the correct stock package for your phone and you have attached these package at the right place in odin.
Do not select any extra options in odin like erase nandroid and all. Just leave it as it is with the default settings.
Also make sure you have inserted your sdcard.
