Is there a matte screen protector for the EVO 3D that either fits edge-to-edge or very close to it?
I find the 3D games, etc look a LOT better when you can't see your own face looking back at you while you're viewing, but all the matte screen protectors I've found don't even cover the viewable area, let alone the whole digitizer/glass front.
Check out SGP bro...

Hadn't heard of SGP before but it looks great. Thanks!
I have the anti-glare protector from clairvue. I like it. No reflection in it at all really. Not as glass clear as others, but I'm more bothered by reflection. Covers edge to edge.
I have the BodyGuardz anti-glare screen protector and love it.
cheap "Screen Guards" matte/anti-glare from ebay... i got mine for $1.50 and its better than my boxwave anti-glare

I'm very happy with the clear version of the ebay "screen guards", and I'm coming off a steinheil crystal clear on my og evo. Might give the anti glare a whirl at this price.
Bitslizer, are you still liking the screenguard anti glare ? is it really clear or no?
nhutpham did you give the anti glare a try? i'm debating of either getting the clear or anti glare version of the seller you got yours from.
Halo Screen Protector Film Clear Matte (Anti-Glare)
These work well for me and they're inexpensive.

I picked up a couple of the anti glares, but haven't installed it yet. I was gonna wait until my clear one got scuffed up a bit, but it actually doesnt have any scratches yet. Just looking at the anti glare ones, they are closer to clear than they are matte, for example if i hold one up to my screen i don't see any distortion, and the glare seems the same (the plastic backings are still on so this might account for that). But it's clear enough that i would be hard pressed to tell you which one was clear and which one was anti glare, at least looking at them before installing. I'll try to get more feedback after installing the anti glare, but if you need to get it right now I'd say get one of each ;-)
Just go to their website, www.flsuperstore.com
Promo code FLORDER for a whopping 5% off!
So you actually convinced me to try out the anti glare, I had the tiniest speck of dust on my clear one that looked like a dead pixel so I gave this one a whirl. So there actually is a pronounced matte finish, I just couldn't make it out because of the backings. The surface feels like smooth paper, making similar noise when you slide your finger across it. Not the kind of surface that snags your finger when it's clean, the slide is always the same.
As for the anti glare, it works in dulling glare, but not eliminating it. It's pretty similar to other anti glares in this department.
The clarity is pretty decent, for an anti glare. I used the sgp anti glare on my og evo, and this one is maybe less matte than that one but close. Most cheaper protectors are much more on the matte side of things. There is a downgrade in clarity from bare screen/clear protectors, it looks like tiny pixelation, in different colors like tiny droplets of water. That's not to say it's not good, for an anti glare it actually is, text is pretty sharp and the screen still looks relatively good. 3D still views fine.
For me tho, the clear winner is the crystal (har har). It just looks nicer watching movies and pictures. I'm really more used to it, since it's like the bare screen. If you're used to anti glare protectors, I'd definitely recommend this one, it really is a quality choice. It's about the right compromise imo between clarity and anti glare properties. And it does fit very well, really is edge to edge without any problems during install. Considering the expensive brand usually cut it short for ease of install, this is quite a feat.
Could someone with a matte screen protector try the 3D separation test here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189035
I tried a matte screen protector on mine and it really killed the 3D effect. Apparently it scatters the light enough to cause a lot of crosstalk when viewing 3D material.
Mike
I tried it, and in landscape mode I get clean left/right separation. In portrait I gotta tilt the phone a bit to get it to work. Really though, and 3D works fine, but looks much clearer on clear protector. Regular movies and pictures look fine unless you're up close, but 3D movies lose clarity in a way that's more noticeable. Like I said tho, it works just fine and its watchable, it just doesn't look as good as it does normally.
The best way I can put it is this, it's like looking at a crt screen up close. The image is there, just looks like there's some pixel dust sprinkled on it. Some videos play pretty well, and the ones I ripped show up a bit worse than say some high quality youtube streams. 3D pictures view pretty well. If you're set on anti glare, this one will work fine.

Thanks, I will go ahead and get the clear one then.
hey one last question. are fingerprints any different on the two? meaning does one resist fingerprints more then the other?
The matte is better with fingerprints/faceprints, but you still see a little bit. When the screen is on you don't notice very much, but with it off you can see smudges.
They're $1.50 man, get both if you have a hard time deciding. After playing around with the anti-glare for a while, and getting over the initial difference from clear, it's really quite liveable for day to day use. You don't notice it as much with darker colors/backgrounds, mostly only when it's lighter or on a white screen. I still prefer the clear, but I'm sure there are those that wouldn't want to keep wiping their screen all the time.

+1. I have the bodyguardz brand anti glare and like it a lot. The glare is cut down. Lifetime replacements from them too.

Since I haven't seen many people here mentioning it, I thought it'd be useful to talk about my experience with Brando anti glare protector for Touch HD.
Few months ago, when I stockpiled on the protectors, I ordered one, just for the testing purposes. They were cheap, so I figured why not.
Now that my previously used ultra-clear protector got badly scratched and even deformed after a situation in which my Touch HD fell face down directly onto a neck of a beer bottle (don't ask) I realized I had to change it. The screen magically survived without any trace of contact, and I was very lucky for having the protector on - without it, I'm sure the screen would've had to be replaced.
Applying the protector
So, I pulled out the anti glare protector and applied it. First of all, the application procedure was slightly easier then with ultra-clear. The anti glare protector seems to be a bit stiffer and requires only one side of the protector to be peeled off before application, whereas the ultra needs 2 protective layers removed. It could also be simply the fact that I got some practice with these things now... But it felt easier in any case.
Fit
As with other Brando protectors, this one is also a bit too short on the bottom. If you start directly at the top of the device screen, leaving absolutely no space between the protector and the screen edge, at the bottom side you'll end up about 1.2 mm too short. For me it's not a big problem, and I certainly don't notice this, since the bottom part is usually covered by hand or fingers, but people who insist on perfection may find this annoying. The cut out for the speaker seems to sit well in it's place, and also be aware that there is a U-shaped cut out for the front camera. The ultra clear covers the camera, but obviously because of the grain-effect I'll get to in a moment, this was not possible here.
Brightness
After applying it I was very happy with the overall look. The screen brightness was the same - I did not notice any reduction in this regard, so I can say that this is very good in terms of transparency.
Sharpness and visibility
As for the sharpness / visibility, I'm hesitant to even say it, but there is a small difference when compared to ultra clear, or no protector of course. But it's a small difference. The effect is sort of like a very, very fine grain pattern across the screen, but I can't stress this enough - it's really no big deal. I'm a photographer and I work with graphic editing software, so my eyes are trained to notice every damn detail. For most people, I would assume that they would hardly notice any difference. So, to cut the long story short - the sharpness stays the same, but you get a gentle grain effect which is usually noticeable only on white background.
To sort of get a feeling of what you can expect, I can recommend you open up a bitmap in Photoshop and add 1 percent uniform noise filter. This is about the same amount of grain you'll see on the screen when using this protector.
Resistance to smudging
One very cool thing I noticed is that anti glare protector also seems to be MUCH, MUCH better when it comes to smudges. With ultra clear, I would usually feel a need to wipe the phone after each conversation or a typed SMS. Basically, any contact with skin would cause a mess on the screen. With anti glare, this is still present, but to much lesser extent. I feel that this is a big advantage when compared to ultra clear protector.
Touch sensation and sensitivity
Well, first of all, it does feel slightly different under your finger. Right after applying it, the finger movement across the screen felt rather stiff. There was definitively more friction going on then with ultra clear, but after one or two days of usage, this effect seems to wear off, or you simply get used to it and don't notice it anymore. I can say I have come to actually like this. Oh, and there is no degradation of screen sensitivity that I noticed. I did not feel that I had to push the screen any harder then before, so this is another strong point.
Anti-glare feature
And finally, what would be an anti glare protector review, without comment on the anti glaring From my non scientific tests, the feature works very well. The glaring is indeed much reduced. I would say about 50-60% less, if not even more. Also, when you do get some glare, for example from the direct light above your head, it's much less obtrusive then with ultra-clear or without protector. The effect is subtle, and will not interrupt you from reading things on the device.
Conclusion
All in all, if you can accept the slight grain effect, this is a great thing for people who use Touch HD in bright light or simply feel annoyed with the fact that the default screen protector is so polished you can sometimes see more of your face on it than the screen itself.
So, by sacrificing 5% of visual quality, you can get about 50% more on the usability. I don't regret buy it at all - in fact I only regret not ordering more on my last purchase.
p.s. I have absolutely no connection with Brando, nor I will get anything out of writing this review. I also have to say I have been ordering stuff from them for a while now, and have been very satisfied with their services so far.
That's a very in depth review which I am sure many will find useful.
I have a Brando Ultra Clear and have recently been using my HD in the garden as the weather in the UK has been so hot and sunny recently. I thought it would never work outside because of the bright light but with screen brightness setting on full I could not believe how good it was. No strain on the eye at all with the sun behind or in front. Not sure if this is because of the HTC screen or the Brando Ultra Clear protector - I've not tried it without.
Sounds like Anti Glare is even better from your review but I would say that Ultra Clear is still very useable in bright light.
Hi, been looking for a proper screen protector but haven't really gotten to it yet..
After reading this I'm convinced, I'm gonna get myself one!
...just can seem to locate one in the Netherlands...all shops sell the ultra clear (with anti glare in the descriptive text), but not just an anti glare one.
Anyone?
Thanks

great review...I hate glare! So, I'm ordering one of these Brando anti-glare screen protectors.
Has anyone compared this Brando anti-glare to the Boxwave anti-glare?
As you say above "The effect is sort of like a very, very fine grain pattern across the screen".
The Boxwave has this and it is almost unacceptable (to me) and was wondering if this Brando was any better (clearer) in this department.
Thanks.

Hi, I haven't used any Boxwave protectors, so I can't really say, but I am interested to hear from users that tried them.
Personally, I really got used to Brando anti-glare, and I find the device much more comfortable to use in everyday situations. And I really like the fact that the smudging is MUCH less of a problem.
Anyone know where these can be got in the UK?
**EDIT** Nevermind, I got it here - http://shop.brando.com
$3 shipping worldwide, $12 in total = just under £8...

Hmm, I actually prefer Boxwave's grain pattern because it gives "texture" to the screen. Yeah it does lower the screen's image quality but overall it's quite nice I reckon
I got mine today, I really like it. It has a matt finish rather than a gloss finish which I prefer the feel of.
Unfortunately it took about 8 attempts to get it on without the edges slightly overlapping and causing the long bubble along the edge and now I think I have some dust under it
Still, it's a great fit, feels great but I have yet to see how well it's anti-glare properties hold up.
Brando, not so good
I have to disagree. At first I was very excited it about it but then... I find it horrible! I was not able to use it. Could not get rid of the bubbles. I think its cut too big! Wash it and nothing but dust gets caught on the backing that sticks to the screen which has some kind of glue like surface. After washing it gets marks all over and dust. I wasted my money. Expensive, not worth it, needs work. I have installed many screen protectors on my touch hd.
Nope, nope, nope... had none of those problems here...
I've had good luck with Brando compared to other protectors.

Has anyone bought an anti glare protector for the screen? I know there is a screen protector topic but they were more focus on just protecting the screen and not about anti glare.
acuralegendz said NuShield anti glare protector was only ok. I rather not pay 25 dollars for an average product.

Yes I am, and yes I will be happy to. I don't think it will be here until the end of the week though so will be a few days.
i just installed this screen protector and I must say that the price is ridiculous for the quality.
It makes the screen quality completely grainy. Maybe I have to let it sit for a few hours.
Nice to the touch, has a mat feel. doesn't seem like it effects the touch sensitivity.
the edges are horrible. I can see it lifted all the way around the entire screen and i have no bubbles or dust around the edges but that will change soon. I just hope that as more dust gets trapped under the lifted edges, it doesn't make it worse over time but we will see.
I'm use to the screen protectors where you apply them on like window tints (Body Guardz brand). Had them on my ZuneHD, Droid1, Doid2. All perfect..Lexerd, not even close.
My opinion is that this screen protector should have been 10 dollars. sucks I got the double pack. sigh.

Yea, I knew about the single pack but thought I could save a few bux with the double. After a few hours of use, my eyes got use to the grainy screen
Temp protector I guess, at least I dont have to worry about scratches: )
What I haven't seen elsewhere is that on the "Thank you for purchasing..." sheet that came with the G Tab, it states: "1. The device may come equipped with two anti glare screen protectors over the screen; which should be removed". Huh? Why two? Why remove them. It doesn't make sense. I assume because there is glare, that mine didn't come with them.

Because at some point there were so many returns (at sears and staples) because of claims of a defective screen which later turn to be some air bubbles trapped under the second layer of the screen protector

Anti-Glare
So has anyone found any good Anti-Glare that are not $30? just trying to find a good screen protector and case so I can stand it up and watch movies if need be.
Ever try Photodon?
http://www.photodon.com/p/MXH-5250-01.html seems nice based on their description but wondering if anyone ever tried one.
I ordered this set a couple weeks ago. One is clear and one is anti-glare:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290551331136&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_570wt_1140
They fit the screen perfectly. A little too perfectly actually. It's somewhat difficult to get the protector perfectly straight so that one side or the other doesn't run into the edge of the screen where the edge slightly goes up. I rendered the clear protector relatively useless after attempting to line it up perfectly several times.
Neither of the screen protectors have cut outs for the camera or the light sensor. It doesn't seem to really affect the light sensor, but the anti-glare protector makes the camera pretty much unusable. The camera is fine with the clear protector on.
The reason it makes it unusable is because of how grainy it makes the screen look, and that grain is also visible through the camera. It makes everything blurry. That said, it does a good job of reducing glare as well as a pretty darn good job of cutting down on visible finger prints. I've found that the graininess isn't extremely intrusive for most things. Maybe I've just gotten used to it.
One of the main reasons for purchasing my gTablet was to use it as an eReader for the hundreds of .pdfs I'm required to go through. This is where the grain really becomes troublesome. If it wasn't for the fact that somehow I managed to get the protector on perfectly straight on the first try, I would have already removed it. I'm thinking about ordering another set, cutting out a hole for the camera, and going with the clear protector. I'll make due with some glare here and there and some fingerprints.

I'm curious if you could use a hole puncher to make a hole for the camera? I have not seen this product so I have no idea what it is like or how thick it is but seems like it could be modded with a hole punch if you do the measurements precisely. Anyways, just a thought I had while reading. Thanks for the review.

I bought a matte one and a clear one from Aurum, but fit really well, I think you get get both for under $20. The matte reduces glare and the clear one does not distort the screen. Overall was very happy with the product. The Lexard one and those other "wet" applications ones are a pain in the ass, they also prevent your finger from gliding smoothly on the after application. Just called NuShield, as their site does not work well with IE9 when placing orders, and was told they are currently NOT selling an "antiglare" sheet for the gTablet. They only have their "DayVue" product, which does not have anti-glare feature.
However, if you contact them, they very likely would consider making an anti-glare version as they already have a template for the gTablet.
[email protected]
I was just looking at their website and it describes the DayVue as anti-reflective. Straight from the website under Viewsonic GTablet.
NuShield DayVue™ antireflective film is the best choice for displays that are being used outdoors. It has good scratch resistance combined with greatly improved daylight readable optics over our antiglare film.
I don't know if they consider anti-glare and anti-reflective to be different, but it seems like the same to me.
ive got an antiglair, it works well and was only 10$ off amazon but if you like using it for videos it kills them, thinking about removing mine but i have a hard time throwing 10$ away
Hello all,
Would anyone have any recommendations for screen protectors that would work well with the Transformer? Whilst I realize that it may take a while for screen protectors that were specifically designed for the Transformer to be released, I will be doing quite a bit of travelling with the tablet over the next few weeks and would like to have something to protect the screen (I will also buy a case for it)
Many thanks!
You dont need any screen protector. It's got gorilla glass. If you can scratch the gorilla glass with anything other than a diamond ill buy you a new one myself.
Here's one of many videos of it on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avhQGzTld08
Thanks for the reply stuntdouble: I hear you on the Gorilla Glass, but I want to try to keep the screen prestine for when I try to sell my current unit when the Transformer V2 comes out. Maybe I'm being a bit irrational here but, for the small price of a screen protector, its more of a "why not" sort of thing.
Thanks dude
Well like I said before, the only things that will scratch it will be things like diamonds, and they will easily go through any screen protector you use anyways. All any gorilla glass screen needs to look pristine is a good wipe with a lens cloth every once in a while. So unless you are Kanye West or Lady Gaga with all the bling, you'll be fine.
A case however is a good idea for the rest of the unit's protection.
That's awesome, thanks for the vid.
You won't need a screen protector. It will look prestine forever. If it gets oily/greasy, just use an LCD/Plasma screen wipe on it and it will look good as new.
I am a SysAdmin at my company that has Macs and PCs, I steal the Mac screen wipes for devices and those work awesome lol.
What about one that helps with sunlight. It seems that it will be pretty unusable outdoors otherwise? Correct me if you know different.

That's why I buy screen protectors too, it makes a difference having a matt one.
I think a matte one would help with glare and annoying fingerprints. I've had two gorilla glass phones and I often like a protector for these two purposes, not just for protection.
Any links to matte ones ?, There's only ipad ones on ebay.
This is what I found, I may get one for myself.

How about this? Anti-reflective apparently...
EDIT. Arg, can't post the link yet. However go to Amazon UK, it's called:
"Vikuiti screen protector ADQC27 for Asus Eee Pad Transformer - PREMIUM QUALITY (crystal clear, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, easy mountable)"
I'm a bit torn as to what to do about a screen protector for my transformer. Unless you get a really good matte one, they often reduce the clarity of the screen and introduce a kind of rainbow grain, and I don't want that as it was bad enough on my iphone.
However, I don't want a protector that doesn't really reduce the reflectiveness of the gorillaglass by much - the matte ones are brilliant for this and are really silky to the touch as well, but you do often have that trade off with image quality. At nearly £30 a pop, it's not the sort of thing you want to experiment with either!
Anyone got a protector they like yet?
I'll have to test this puppy outdoors before I start hunting down a anti-reflective screen protector. Reviewers tend to complain about glare and reflections much more than I do, so it is a wait and see situation. It's a huge trade off, matte faded colors with a cover, or bright, vivid display without? Plus, Corning gorilla glass is so silky smooth to the touch, I hate the feeling of cheap plastic screen covers.
@dandmcd Have you actually got one of these tablets? I have, and I can tell you that outdoors the thing is pretty much unusable and even in bright indoor areas like offices you'll need 100% brightness to be able to look at it without glare.
Also, my gorilla glass isn't what I'd call silky smooth. It's nicer than the iphone, but can still get sticky sometimes depending on how clammy your hands are. With the matt protector I have on my iphone, it's always silky smooth, just like The Zohan likes

I've not got any experience with touch screens (and especially multi-touch ones) used with screen protectors... Is your experience that you have to press harder or touches are detected less accurately when using a protector? If so, I'd likely prefer the glare issues to touch issues, but if not, a protector might well be worthwhile to cut down the glare...
To people saying it's not scratchable....yes, yes it is.

Yeah, and Corning's own PR folks have confirmed it is neither scratch *or* shatter proof in their own marketing videos. In several videos they reference having sand-blasted the glass to simulate normal use, and you can clearly see the scratched, sand-blasted area. In one video the Corning rep even states during the pressure test that "you could break it if you really bear down on it" or words to that effect.
Gorilla glass is neither scratch proof nor break proof -- it's just more strongly resistant to both than regular glass.
@dandmcd - It really does depend on the screen protector, but on the whole most are manufactured thin enough in that they don't affect the touchscreen sensitivity at all. I can only comment from my experience with two versions of the iphone, I haven't got a screen protector for my transformer yet....

I'm trying to decide which will be a better fit for a screen protector. Right now, there really seems to be only two contenders. The Zagg and the Skinomi, links provided. I know there are generic protectors but I'm looking for the "best of class" for this beast. Anyone have any suggestions before I scratch this baby?

I personally hate the wet type of protectors for the screen. It messes up the smoothness of the touchscreen & your fingers don't glide over it easily (especially the tacky feeling Zaggs. Those are the worst).
Go with the dry ones (the kind that use static cling to stick). I ordered the REALOOK protector from Amazon that gets good reviews on their other devices. Should be here in a day or two. They feel as smooth as glass.
I guess it's a matter of preference. I had a Zagg on my Focus for a year now, and it works great for me. It does give the screen a more "grippy" feel though, but I actually like that. If you want it to feel slick, I probably wouldn't go with the wet style. Another plus for the wet though is that it's pretty much invisible when applied. You won't get any peeling or bubbling like a dry protector. A lot of screen protectors are quite noticeable when they're put on a phone.
Reading the Realook reviews on Amazon shows they get mostly great reviews. I might have to give them a try one day. For now, I'll stick with Zagg though. It just arrived yesterday, and my phone should be in by Thursday, so it'll be the first thing I install.
AT&T
I got the one from AT&T from there website and LOVE LOVE the feel it gives.
Just enough Drag to feel comfortable.
wrapsol makes some good ones as well. haven't decided what to get yet...
Got from tmart (can't post a link yet)

Not bad at all
Brando Ultra Clear is the best.
got the htc one from clove technology.excellent fit
My Realook screen protectors came in today. I held off on installing the Zagg to try these. I can say, this is probably the most crystal clear protector I've ever put on a phone. It is 100% invisible.
So what's the con. The fit is so exact, they must have measured in microns. It still bubbles up at the extreme top right corner because it's hitting the small ridge that loops the front face. I definitely ding it for that. I guess if you have robo eyes and can place this thing on exactly, and I do mean EXACTLY, it would be the best protector I've seen. I can't see any blank space what so every, but it's still not on 100%.
The screen is slightly less slippery which I like too. It gives it a better feel. For the price, I think it's worth it. Besides, even if it peels off, you still have a second one to apply.

Yep, got mine in too. And I agree. Its almost TOO perfect, meaning they cut this thing so there's hardly ZERO room for error when applying. I actually ended up scrapping the first one I applied (it comes w two) because I wasn't satisfied with the slight bubble in the corner.
But I FINALLY managed to install the second one perfectly. Now its amazing & 100% perfect. Thank God, cause it freakin took forever. You really have to have patience when applying these. Be sure to stick a small piece of scotch tape on the bottom side so you can peel it up easily, because you're going to be doing that a lot to get it to seat just right.
I installed the maximum body Zagg and the screen protector turned out perfect. I've installed zaggs on LG Quantum, and Samsung Focus so I had some practice. For some reason the Titan zagg seems better quality than the ones installed on the other phones. I'm really not seeing any orange peel. I also put on the case mate tough case and doesn't mess up the zagg protection at all. For the Titan I love the Zagg

I never liked the grabbiness of the Zagg protectors. I ordered the ATT offered two-pack not knowing they were the full on glare reducing version. At first, it was a little too much, but the glare reduction seems to settle in a bit with use. OR my eyes are used to it now, but I quite like it after using it for a while. I matches the matte finish of the phone.
That said, I do want a screen protector that doesn't have anti-glare made by the same people as the ATT Samsung Focus version. Super slick, was pretty tough. Anyone know the vendor that made it for ATT?
"Orange peel" - that's a good description of my Focus Zagg screen protector. It didn't bother me though. I still have my Zagg in my drawer if the Realook craps out, but I don't think so.
I just bought the Skinomi Carbon Fiber full body kit that comes with a screen protector and really like it.
One BIG problem though: The Carbon Fiber back skin seems to have killed my signal strength. I now get no service instead of 3 bars? It covers the whole back of the phone. Even the plastic antennae area.
I'm surprised that it would kill your signal strength. I would check the metal contacts on the back case and the phone to make sure everything is touching and seated properly. Someone else in the forum tried that, and it fixed their problem.
I'm using atFolix anti-glare screen protector, it's brilliant get improved contrast and it's finger print resistant!
Got it from here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/atFoliX-FX-...m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=05DX3CNJ9KFAVHD8RYFC

This looks good, on close up do you get the frost effect? I ask because that's my only minor gripe with the atFolix anti-glare screen protector!

Ok I'll answer my own question! Curiosity got better of me so decided to get Rock Naked Screen Protector AF & AG, and sure enough it's clearer then atFolix anti-glare screen no frost effect!
So if anyone's interested here are the Pros and Cons between the two screen protectors:
atFolix anti-glare got it from here http://www.amazon.co.uk/atFoliX-FX-...0VSQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330083294&sr=8-1 :
Pros:
- Easy to fit
- Perfectly fits the screen of the Titan no gaps!
- Excellent anti-glare and anti-fingerprint
Cons:
- You lose sharpness of the display and get frosted glass effect on close inspection!
- Easily scratches!
Rock Naked Screen Protector AF & AG got it from here http://www.obostore.com/rock-anti-f...ed-screen-protector-for-htc-titan-p-3597.html :
Pros:
- Good anti-glare and anti-fingerprint
- You don't lose sharpness of display i.e. no frosted glass effect
Cons:
- Fiddly to put on!
- Not a perfect fit for Titan about 1mm gap around screen!
- Easily Scratches
For me between the two I prefer the Rock Naked Screen Protector over atFolix losing screen sharpness/frosted glass effect was too much of a compromise!
I'll post up a review and some photos of both when I get them. Maybe this'll help some of you in making a decision.
I grabbed the crystal clear pair as well as the "HD fingerprint reducing" pair.
Thanks. I bought the HD fingerprint reducing one, but I'm not terribly impressed with the fingerprint reduction. It looks clear, though. It is a bit "stickier" than other Seidio screen protectors I've used in the past, but still quite usable. I prefer the slick feeling screen protectors.

Pretty spot on with my feelings.
It's DEFINITELY less sticky than no screen protector, and definitely less sticky than the standard high gloss screen protectors, but it's nowhere near as glide-able as the full matte finish ones.
I'm happy with this compromise, the fingerprints never bothered me too terribly much, but the stickiness of it makes swype a lot more difficult to use effectively. In the future I may try to use a full matte finish one.
The static cling protectors though, NO ROOM FOR ERROR. If you have to lift it up and replace it it's nearly impossible to keep it clean. Do it in your bathroom, run your shower hot and get it nice and humid (helps keep dust down)
The case is nice, I didn't bother taking any pictures because there's really nothing superbly special about either.
