Hey guys i wanted to know,if anyone kould help me plz...i wanted to root my evo n i tink i did b kuz wen i go to fast booth is says s-off da on problem was wen i was doin da root you no how it asks u if u wanted to install clockworkmod i put yes.. and it tryid and install it and it faild like 3 times... Den i saw dat if it dint work u had to install a zip file in recovery mode ... So i got da file put it in my root den i try goin,to recovery thru fast booth and it wont let me.. all it shows is a cellfone wit a big ass triangle wit a xclamation mark.... Kan sum one help plzz tell me wat to do.... N also none of my 3 computers kan read the phone idk why

My translation is that you need help installing a recovery, and then flashing the su.zip file so you have root, because clockwork failed to install.
Download the file I attatched named PG86IMG.zip. It is TWRP recovery. Put that file on the main directory of your sd card (not in any folders). Then boot to your bootloader, and it will scan and find the PG86IMG.zip and ask you to update. Press volume up to accept, and then when it finishes reboot. Once rebooted, remove the PG86IMG.zip from your sd card. Then download the su file that I attatched, and put it on your sd card. Now, go to settings>menu>power, and uncheck the 'fastboot' setting. Then turn your phone completely off. Hold power and volume down simultaneously, until you get to bootloader, then choose recovery. You should now successfully boot into TWRP recovery. Then select install zip from sd card, and find the su file you put on your sd card and flash it. Then reboot. You should now have super user installed and you'll be good to go. Full root. That would be because you already have a pg86img.zip on your computer, so it renamed one of them to pg86img-1, because you can't have both with the same name. You want to make sure it's the one you just downloaded, and make sure the file size is the same. I believe it should be 4.88mb. It has to be named exactly pg86img.zip. So that is the one I would try.

Download Astro file manager from the market then on your phone go to the link I've provided. Download the kernel and make sure it's on the root directory of your sd card using the file manager. Reboot into recovery and flash away.

Using one of the kernels on the page I pointed you to will let you toggle the lag fix on or off using cwm recovery so you don't need one of the apps on the market. I will tell you that the easiest lag fix to use is the One Click Lag Fix available from the market. Using Voodoo and messing with the kernel of your phone can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I've bricked my phone several times because of Voodoo.
I'm asking kuz. I tried the one click... and it says unavailable. Because I have another lag fix installd. But I don't... and da Rom I have is aura 2. 2

I'm running Axura 2.2 as well. One Click doesn't work with it. Use the JL1 plus voodoo kernel on the page I pointed you to in the previous post. Make sure it's the Clockworkmod recovery .zip file and flash it just like you would a rom. When you boot into recovery it has options to enable or disable the lag fix. Just make sure before you flash a new ROM you disable it otherwise your phone will soft brick.
Also make sure you give it time after flashing. On your first reboot it will hang on the vibrant screen for about 10 min. while it re writes the file system. You'll hear a voice from your phone during this time that'll let you know what's happening.
Ok so way I do is download the voodoo from da link... den I go to Rom manager and flash it threw clockwork?

Yup. Just like flashing a ROM. Remember to be patient on the first boot. If you interrupt the process in the middle you will brick your phone then we'll be having a whole different conversation
Lol ok ok.. let me just make sure.. I downloaded jl1 voodoo unsigned zip or sum like dat.. ima. Move it to the main rooting ting on my memory card... I open Rom manager... click install Rom from SD... den flash it?

Yup. If you use Astro it will be in a file labeled download. Copy it into the same directory your Axura.zip file is in boot into recovery and flash it just like you did your ROM and then reboot.

I just realized that mine doesn't either. These roms and kernels are rarely perfect. Small price to pay for the increased speed though.

It's because you selected the JL1 kernel. It has a know issue of no vibration/feedback. JK6 is wonderful, go with that one.

You can flash it right on top. A word of general warning, however. If you ever want to go back to something that is not a Voodoo kernel, you will need to disable the lagfix first. If you don't, expect serious issues.
I have an lg optimus t.... the problem is the phone is stuck on clockworkmod and when i go to mount sd card all iu see is an empty card with only a file comtaning clockworkmod no backups ...... and when i reboot it goes to fast boot and stays....
You might have to download a rom from PC and transfer it to sdcard than flash.

basicly just where to look for stock roms
and how to flash it if i cant even use the phone
so i just rooted/flashed my phone with das bamf,
as ive been reading and watching videos people have been flashing the rom before the radio..
so i flashed the rom and was going to reboot with my adb so i could flash the new radio.. but whenever i flashed the rom it rebooted automatically before i could type the reboot command.. so i thought ok this would be fine and i would just do it when the phone rebooted itself..
so when the phone came up i tried to mount as a disk drive and my computer doesnt see the sd card or the phone and my adb doesnt see the phone online either.. so i cant reboot it to flash the radio i need, i still have the stock radio on here so i dont have any service right now..
so i either need to know how to make the adb recongnize my phone.. or i need to know if their is a way to reboot into the bootloader so i can flash the radio.. its already on my sd card and everything. thanks!
Hold volume down while pressing power will get you
to the boot loader.

I didnt man i guess i have another question.. as i previously stated that since i cant get my phone to interact with my computer after flashing this rom..
Is their a special setting that i have to toggle? or something? because i would really like to be able to transfer files again.. even with the disk drive option checked it still does nothing.. it does charge though but it wont come up in windows explorer
Select internet pass through, then give it 15-20secs. Then change to sdcard. That is a little trick they mentioned in one of the threads.

My HTC Wildfire (Buzz), i made it S-OFF , Rooted it (i guess) and succeessfully changed its rom to MIUI 2.3.7 . Before changing the rom i backed up the stock rom .The problem comes to whenever i boot to recovery and reach to a point where i am to select if i want to install zip file from sd cards and other selection, i am not able to install or access anything from sd card. Even when i tried to restore the backup using Rom Manager it fails me guys !

Hey yunus maybe u should download the stock rom for ur device from the net as the backup you created may have issues. Oh yeah u can flash the downloaded rom via odin.

That won't work because i tried install another different rom but i couldn't because the phone cann't boot to recovery i suppose and so i cannot flash any zip file as usual

I had this problem you mention with CWM in my N1: it couldn't access my sdcard. I finally had to flash a different recovery (Amon Ra in my case) which reads the sdcard with no problem at all.

ODIN is for Samsung phones. You need to run an official HTC RUU (ROM Update Utility) to restore HTC phones to stock.
@OP -
Download the RUU exe from the link below, connect your phone to computer via USB and run it as administrator. Your phone will be completely erased and restored to stock. I;m not sure if SD card will erased too, so make a backup of all its contents to be safe.

You've certainly messed something up, and your SD card might be corrupted too, so if you're not very knowledgeable about what you're doing, you're better off restoring to stock and starting over rather than trying a bunch of different fixes and messing up your phone more.
I have rooted my wt19i via doomlord kit method with unlocking bootloader.i installed a font software.fisrt time it worked fine but second time it downloaded a font and restarted but it got stuck and keeps restarting .what should i do andy ideas guys????

Again reflash to stock, becoz every font dont support our device, if u want different fonts, then use 'ROM TOOL BOX' From playstore, !

Take ur battery out and again put the bttery on, donot turn it on, nw open the flashtool nw press 'Volume down button' and connect ur device(you will see green led), then do the normally flashing as u did earlier !

This will wipe ur whole 'system', and it wont touch ur SDcard, if u backups r stored in SDcard then u can restore!
For ex: if u used 'Titanium backup' for doing backup, after flashing, install titanium backup and then u can restore ........ The files, which u backuped with titanium backup !
