Is it just me or is the alarm icon in the top bar when enabled a picture of a battery with a check mark?
Ha! Yes...exactly. I had to break out the manual to figure out WTH that icon meant.
Yea i guess they tried to mimic the icon for alarm and timer in the app drawer and failed miserably.
I figured it was the battery saver icon

I agree with this.
Also does anyone else notice that the next alarm info on the lock screen comes and goes as it pleases even if the alarm is always on?
Open the app drawer and look at the alarm and timer icon.

I have the volume all the way up for the alarm, but when it rings in the morning, it is very very low. It was like this before the maintenance release posted by Yay 4 Juggs and it is the same after I installed the release.
Anyone else having this problem?
Yep, same problem here.
Got my phone yesterday. Alarm failed to wake me up this morning.
Luckily I forgot to turn off my old phone and that alarm went off 15 minutes later.
(I changed my alarm time to 15 minutes earlier on my Photon)
Are you using the stock alarm app? Try downloading alarm clock plus and see if it still does it

Yes, the stock alarm is the one I was using.
I just tried it with Alarm Clock Plus and the same thing happened.
Edit: I was able to adjust the settings for Alarm Clock Plus and there were a few settings for the volume. So now the alarm works as it should with ACP. With the stock alarm app, volume is still very low though.
I've been using the HTC stock alarm, but I've noticed the only way I can access it to edit the alarm times and such is by touching on the clock widget that I put on my home screen.
Is there a way I can access the alarm without needing to have the widget up?

Hi,
I have a question about the clock. When I press the htc clock widget it first opens world clock. Then you have to tap the alarm tab on the bottom to go to the alarm. Is there an option when pressing the clockwidget to open the alarm first?
Thanks in advance..
Would like to know this to... Really miss patches from webos....

Lol so i'm not the only one.
Btw I allready tried to rearrange the tabs but this had no effect. When putting the alarm on the first place it still opens worldclock.
+1. Would love this too but sure there isn't a way to do it. No you're not the only one.

Do you know if you have to leave the phone on for the alarm to work or will alarm on start the phone in the morning?
I haven't tried it but I assume you have to have it on for the alarm to ring.

A couple minutes isn't long enough? Wow, i'm up after it rings just a few seconds.
You might need one of these
There's some deep sleepers out there, don't underestimate
Um... there's no way to extend the time of the song. Have you tried using snooze? That itself can make it ring over an hour.
If you're looking to change the ringtone to your own custom one, you should be able to set your own alarm tone in the settings...
Sorry if I misunderstood.
The stock alarm sucks, imo. I tried it but I'm colorblind and could never figure out what days the alarm was set for. I installed one called alarm clock plus and it's awesome. Much better than the stock one.
Hi.
The Clear Viewed Notifications (CVN) doesn't seem to work, or I am doing it wrong.
My understanding of this feature is that once you swipe down the Status Bar and close the it, all the notification will be cleared automatically.
What I am getting now is that only only the icons on the status bar will disappear. Is this correct or should the notifications itself disappear?
Thanks.

No, the feature removes icons from the status bar when minimised after opening and looking, the feature is simply to declutter your statusbar

Great. I was concerned that something was wrong with the software on my phone.
Thanks for that.

Exactly, that's what it does.
