Just yesterday Skype Video from the HTC Thunderbolt was released. Has anyone managed to install this on a Gen8?
Give us a link to try it ^^
Tried on my 101. Wouldn't install.
With the latest KI4 Firmware update for SGS2 Samsung has upgraded the OS to Android 2.3.4. Nevertheless, I still can't see Video/Audio chat options in Google Talk 1.3
Can anyone confirm whether Google Talk Video chat is working on SGS2 running KI4?
Thanks!
None of the latest revisions have Google Talk Voice/Video activated. If you want to install it, you're going to have to root/install a version with it.
Can anyone confirm with me that their skype video works? Can you please tell me which ROM/Firmware you are on and which BL you have.
I cannot get skype video to work on CM7 nightly. Voice works fine. Also Gtalk works but the video is very jittery.
Thx.
I did a quick search and found this thread...

Supposedly Skype works on at least this one.
If you are still interested, I stumbled across this one (in this very forum) this morning that states that Skype works in this version.

Does anyone knows where I can find a Google Talk apk with video on ffc for the Atrix on ICS ?? I've tried search but only founded for 2.3.x and didnt work on ICS !!
I'm running CM7, and when I open Google Talk I don't have the option for voice or video chat.
Google says video chat works for 2.3.6 and up, and CM7 is 2.3.7.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
