but isn't unlocked too!!!

if its gingerbread you dont need to unlock it.. just run clockwork. I have a bell atrix with the 2.3.4 update and i didnt have to unlock but yet i flashed a rom and installed custom recovery.
If that^ isn't it, did you run the faarboot oem unlock command in faatboot yet?

Hi everybody, this tread is right for my phone.
I have an Atrix I-TIM branded with Android 2.2.2, no updates expected from TIM, tried this method to unlock it : http://briefmobile.com/how-to-unlock-the-atrix-4g-bootloader, but don't work.
I've root and recovery yet on and need to unlock bootloader to flash CM7 or other Roms.

no. this 'tread' is not right for your phone. this 'tread' is in the wrong section. if you have a problem with your phone, do a search and find a similar problem and fix it. once you have exhausted all searches, then you can create a new thread in the Q&A section....

that is not true?
to install a custom recovery you need to unlock the bootloader... that is the whole point of unlocking... unless you have some weird atrix...
Can anyone give me a guide to do this? I really have to be sure that I won't mess up because I'm giving my Atrix to my dad and he probably wouldn't appreciate a bricked phone. So if anyone can redirect me to a guide or tell me what to do step-by-step, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi, please read the sticky and you will be able to see what you need to do in order to put 2.3.4 back on your device.

Anybody have the radio for the new 2.3.5 i did a dumb move and tried the mopho bootstrap rom and have no service now.
You have to apply libmoto_ril.so also ;-)

You can just download any blur rom running 198_6 or 198_7 and get it from the system/lib folder

I think, there is a chance, to reflash rooted /system by RSD Lite. This was done on Defy, so why not here. Only would take some research and trying.
If you all read the posts i did state that the post was mad in development in error but i will be updating this post with steps to restore your phone in case you install rockos test 2.3.5 bootstrap on 2.3.5 ota. That rom is so screwed, missing root, shell.

Yes but shell mossing was the cause of that and without shell i had no adb access, terminal access and no sbf option, ended up having to modify a terminal apk to use the webtops shell so i could even have terminal access was going to post the method in case anyone else does the same.

I've no idea how someone can get to "acidentally" delete part of the system. Anyway, you need to flash a stock firmware. Try the Index thread in dev section.

If you have a recovery set up you can boot into the boot loader and then reboot into recovery. It should then allow you to mount your SD card. From there you can download a new ROM and reflash your phone.
