Hello,
After I've upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1 I have a small problem. When my phone is in horizontal orientation, I've tried to slide down statusbar and I saw a bug:
Left part of status bar moves slower than right part, so i can see smth which looks like ladder.
Does anyone know how to fix this bug without visiting Service Center?
Thanks.
Sorry for my bad English)

U can press the repair button in sony ericsson software called seus. U can download that from the sony ericsson website. Try that first then i have another solution that can work to if seus doesnt work. But that will also delete all data off phone.

okay guys i bought an x10a through atnt after about 2 or 3 roms later my phone now says its a x10i i want to go back to 10a the big question here is if i install a 2.1 x10a rom then install z's beta4 2.2 rom will i just be right back at x10i or will it keep its 10a signature ? or is there some other 2.2 rom that i can install to let me keep my 10a at a 10a
And what is the difference for you if when you are on 2.2 it's 10a or 10i?
dude... there is no differemce between x10a and an x10i.. why the hell do you care if x10a stays or not?
X10i x10a they are the same phone but built for different regions.
X10i seems to european nets.
The x10a in other regions?
I think changing the Baseband would effect some different net behaviours...
I think x10i is for the european market and x10a for all others like america etc.

The only difference is a few lines in build.prop as far as I know, you can change them with root explorer or flashtool.

+1) there is no difference in the software. They just have different hardware configurations for the different 3G broadcast frequencies.
If you still want it to say x10a, use the app Root Explorer, and long press on build.prop file, and open in text editor. Then change x10i to X10a wherever you see it in the file. Save and close. REBOOT.
I haven't been able to get on 3g since it hit 10i I just get edge

Hello guys, I have a big problem with my Bluetooth, i have a Xperia Mini Pro SK17, this is the 2nd time that this happens to me (I never learn lol), after I mod my phone with all the stuff I like (UOT Kitchen, mods from here), the Bluetooth stops working, I try to send something vía Bluetooth and it just dont send anything, I tried to send to a LG Optimus black, a Sangung Galaxy ace, a BlackBerry Curve 9300, and always is the same thing... The first time that this happened I had to re-instal the OS via SEUS, and the Bluetooth worked again, but I dont want to re-install the OS again, please tellme how to fix this
Thanks in advance guys

Like the topic title says.
Wi-fi really sucks and I tried about everything, except downgrade it again to the 182 software.
How must it be done ?
Thanks.
Flash it with FlashTool

I prefer not to root the phone.
You don't need root to use flashtool

Ok thx will check it out.
Any tutorial somewhere maybe ?
1.Download the firmaware .ftf file
2.Copy ftf to flashtool/firmwares
3.Load flash tool and click on the tap with the black lightning and select flashmode n press ok
4.Select the ftf file and tick no final verification then click ok
5.turn off your phone and hold volume down key and plug in usb cable
6.then let flash tool instal
And you can tick/untick to not wipe your fone if you've not already done it

Yeah, it worked, downgraded the phone. Thanks a lot guys.
However it did not solve the problem.. Wi-Fi still slow as f*ck even though the signal bars are perfect.
My Nexus gets excellent wi-fi speeds here at home connected to the same device (the X-U is my girlfriends), no idea what is causing this problem.. It's doing my head in and I'm afraid if I go to the shop where we bought it they will not be able to do much more than what I tried already (Factory reset, firmware downgrade, download internet/mms settings, disable auto-sync, repair with update center, etc etc..)
You should be getting ics in a week or two so worth waiting for that

Hoping that will do the trick. I fear the worst though seeing with the old firmware and also the newest (the 184 one) the wi-fi is poor. Unless it really is a Gingerbread thing but I doubt it.
Switch out your phone for another model or wait for ICS release which 'may' resolve your WiFi woes... By slow do you mean downloads/torrent speed slow or slow loading web pages/online App requests?

Everything goes slow. Occasionally its ok. It's definitely the phone as other devices such as my Nexus, laptop etc never have drops in speed.
I got my Z2 a few weeks ago and notice it freezes up a lot. This happens mostly when I'm playing a video or especially when I use the camera launch button. It will freeze and I can't do anything. Also I'm getting a good number of fc on different apps. I'm on stock and have made no modifications. I'm in Canada so still on the .55 firmware and cannot update. I'm not sure what to do, should I try to return it or wipe and reset or what?

I ended up installing the newsest firmware (.402) from Germany using Flashtool. Seems to have fixed my issue.
