Ok, another question...
Is it possible to use the scribe to add marks (signature) to a PDF document, and once saved, view the PDF including the scribe markings on a PC?
If the stock PDF viewer doesn't work, is there a 3rd party PDF viewer that does?
Also, is it possible to edit (typing) a PDF on the Flyer?
Thanks.
Steve.
HTC themselves had a feature video about this on there website about signing contracts or something using the scribe, but whether this was on a pdf it doesn't say. Sorry I know that was not much help
Yes you can. If you flatten it, I think it becomes a standard pdf viewable everywhere.

Ah, fair enough.
I'll send HTC an email, and enquire.
Ink/scribe notations made on PDFs can be seen on a PC using adobe's PDF viewer and in another thread a member said it also worked with FoxIt on his desktop. I assume other programs will also let said annotations be seen.
When you use the standard pdf viewer, you can safe the pdf with a signature (made with the pen) and read it on your pc.

Cheers for the replies.
Gonna go and play with one at Carphone Warehouse tomorrow.
You can use scribe to add mark and write on the pdf. The result can be save as pdf again and can be open on all kind of pdf reader! But you can not edit pdf files by typing.

I am trying to download a book frkn a website in the epub format. It keeps failing. Is there a trick to downloading?
Thanks for the help.

Well first u can download books in epub format from many websites. Then create a folder in either sd card or htc tablet named as ebooks(for convenience).put the books in here. Now simply use any explorer to open these books - the reader on your tablet will automatically at this point recognize the books and your library will be updated simultaneously. In my case i used es file explorer. Hope this solves your problem.
Often when I add new download new epub files reader doesn't want to put them in my book list until a reset. If I d/l one and it doesn't add, it always appears after resetting.
Thanks all for the advice.

For a free alternative, I use an app just called PDF Reader (found here) which is quite simple, but quite fast, especially on massive documents.

I agree with both of these.
The best thing is to download a few, try them for yourself and get rid of the ones you don't use.

can it read pdf? i found it can read epub with good interface but not pdf.
BTW, I tried officsuite pro+ , polaris office , ezpdf and adobe reader.
I found that the interface of both adobe reader and polaris office are good.
the ezpdf is a bit buggy when you accidentically add some annotations to the pdf.
If the pdf file is quite large , say 1xxMB with both text and image, the polaris office loads quite fast and ezpdf is so-so.
The UI of ezpdf is a bit old and you really need some time to learn it. Once you learn the way ezPDF use, you may feel it's good. Personally i don't like it too much even i bought it.
I WANT A GOOD PDF READER AS THE EBOOK READER TOO!!

Adobe Reader is pretty good. And now you can add even your own notes (even hand written notes) within the PDF makes it quite good. The Adobe Reader works really fast if you are dealing with big sized PDFs e.g. I had a scanned copy of a book which was like 200MB. While the other readers struggled, the Adobe Reader was faster and was of a better performance.
So I have just made 2 books, I have them in PDF and MS Word.
I am looking for some type of converter so I can add them to the Google Play Store, is there such a thing for that?
Not really no perhaps you should look to converting them to a epub format which android can easily read and thus a app easily made
PM me I'm sure we could work something out

Anybody out there know of a program that allows you to import a PDF file, make notes using a pen, and then save it with the notes still there. The program that does do it the way I need is UPAD but unfortunately it isn't for Android. Any help would be appreciated!
I personally use this ezPDF Reader it has free hand option, so you can take notes, and a bunch of other features. There are a couple of other apps that can do the same, but for me ezPDF is the best.

I highlight and underline, etc alot on pdf's. The Note works well for this while in Polaris but when I go to print, those annotations don't print - only the original pdf.
Is there a solution to this? (using PrinterShare premium for printing btw. It is set to print color.
Thanks
Export to Snote then print

If you import the pdf into Snote and the print it from there if will show your annotations. However, I don't Know if it will save Notes and I know that Once you export a pdf from Snote that you can No longer highlight or underline text using another app although you can still add notes. I think that smote renders pdf text as an image rather than text. So highlight and underline then add Notes the import to Snote and print from there. A little roundabout but if works and Snofe is the best for inputting signatures

Tey ezPDF for annotation. The best app I've used and should print with all of your mark ups. Also, if you can find a copy of Polaris office 5 it will exporf as text, not an image. This allows for easy edits in other apps.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
