Stay with tenfars recovery.
The ROM Manager version is still not recognized an external sd card and can't data/factory reset. (from what written here).
Could I flash recovery with rom manager, then fast boot flash tenfars recovery to gain rom manager functionality

No, you will get errors with backup and restore.
Is Tenfars recovery the whole package or are some parts borked like rom manager? And if so, what parts?
Sent from the coolest voided warranty phone ever.
all of tenfars options in the recovery menu work correctly, it does not have an app once the phone is fully booted though

So I recently flashed to aospish_jk2_v1.0. Works just fine. But I wanna goof around with some other roms. But when I try to flash to other roms or my previous stock backup, it goes into the recovery flashing screen for about 2 seconds. Then the phone restarts and I'm in recovery. When I reboot the phone I'm still on the same rom..what should I do? Try to use odin to flash another rom?

are you flashing though the clock work recovery? Is the recovery letters blue or green?
I've found the best way to go between roms is always Odin back to stock, then install the new rom. That seems to prevent most problems.

I used rom manager to flash. But when in recovery letters are blue and it says android system recovery. So I'm assuming clockwork recovery actually hasn't installed?

You need to open rom manager and flash the CW recovery... from rom manager then click on flash to CWR... it will take you to stock recovery, click on reinstall packages.
now you are at CWR and can flash new rom.
Ah. My problem was that I never flashed ce recovery properly. Thanks guys.

Just download the tenfar CMW and use fastboot to flash it again
fastboot flash recovery (then use file name you downloaded)
Make sure the recovery.img is in the same directory as the fastboot.exe file. Makes it easier.
Thank u

You're welcome!
The tenfar recovery is better, it allows you to access the sd-ext and install zips from it. Whereas the clockwork one doesn't give you that option.

Post 59 has a Clockwork flashable zip that will load Telfars recovery. Save you some time and no need to mess with fastboot.

Sorry which thread is this zip file located in? I looked in the tenfar thread and its not that.
Also I assume you're saying that the zip can be installed FROM Khoulk safely?
Hi, so today I tried to update my cwmr from version 3 to 5. In rom manager it says 5.0.2.1 but when I boot into cwmr it still says 3. Is it supposed to be like that?
Thanks.

*reflash "our cwm" after using ROM manager to flash the ATrix one.*
When using rom manager to back up it will always backup osh which takes forever....
The only useful thing I guess is you can boot to recovery with it. If it would not backup osh then it would be more useful for quick backup and renames.
Actually the use of this is full ext4. Im currently testing a true ext4 full rom with an ext4 recovery from atrix

You said to flash "our CWM" recovery. Did you flash Romracer's or Calkculin's CWM?
Thanks!
Romracers and yes from fastboot.

I just flashed trickdoid rom on my ATT HTC one and it paused in recovery. I then had to go back to fast boot mode. Now I can't boot into my cwm recovery or reboot my phone. I can only stay in fast boot mode. I tried flashing using computer and fast boot mode but still nothing. Any ideas. Thanks in advance

The only way to flash twrp is through fastboot. You flash it just like you flashed cwm. Download the all in one tool kit from the development section and follow the instructions on flashing twrp recovery. And once you are done clear cache using that tool kit
EDIT I shouldn't say it's the only way there are a few other methods but fastboot is the most common besides goo manager
