Hi all,
Am thinking of getting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, or maybe a combo..
A couple of questions...
a) Will this work, ie, a bluetooth keyboard on this device?
b) Can I bluetooth two (or more) separate devices? A separate bluetooth keyboard and mouse? Or will I have to get a combo keyboard and mouse?
Finally, any recomendations?
Thanks!
Both Logitech MX5000 and MX5500 combos work, but you have to connect the mouse and keybord separately.
Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro
Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro works perfectly as does the touchpad.
Pairs up, works great.
The upper "media" buttons don't work but they won't work for my laptop either.

Hey... i bought a microsoft bluetooth keyboard and i was wondering if i can connect it with my Blackstone. Well I can pair it... but not connect it and work it. I was reading about some HID modulators and whatever... is there really not a cab or soft that can make any bluetooth keyboard work with Touch HD?
Im looking to get a portable mouse and keyboard for my Galaxy Tab 7.7 to carry around with me as travelling companions. Keyboard needs to be compact and portable but with good feedback and all the right buttons. Any particular recommendations?
Hi,
I'd be interested in anyone's experiences with this as well. Anyone?
Note: my tab is not rooted or modded in anyway.
Here are the bluetooth devices i tried.
(Mouse)
Logitech v470 bluetooth mouse for netbooks
Apple Magic mouse
(Keyboard)
Apple Wireless Keyboard
Here are the results:
Apple Magic mouse - Does not work at all. (it does pair, and display as a input device.. but no cursor or response will work)
v470 bluetooth mouse - Works very well, shows up as Bluetooth Laser Travel Mouse.
Apple Wireless keyboard - Type on the stock browser lag, and it cause my attached v470 to lag as well! .. right now i do not know it is a keyboard issue or the bluetooth on the tab that cause this.
So i guess i might go get a logitech bluetooth keyboard for tablet to try it out
Thanks electro.
To add and answer my own question.
I am typing this on a Microsoft "Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 7000", which includes a touchpad. Both elements work a treat.
Is there a way to get a bluetooth keyboard/mouse to connect to the Tab without using the dongle? I~ ask because the tab would be a great replacement for my media PC under the TV if only I could attache the HDMI and get bluetooth to work with HIDs at the same time... As it is HDMI requires a pass-through in the power lead so there is no way to attach the bluetooth dongle. It is more than a little annoying that my £100 cheapo tab has seperate USB and HDMI connection and can do just this!

Aha! Found a way to do it! Just connect your bluetooth HID devices without using the dongle... It's obvious really when you think about it.
Anyway, I managed to do this with the above keyboard/mouse using an app on the Market which allows you to do just that - Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect. You tab needs to be rooted and the instructions are not necessarily clear. If you do try it, to connect you need to go back to the standard bluetooth interface, make you HID discoverable (push the button?) and then scan for bluetooth devices. Once it is found and you pair you then need to go back to the app and select the HID in there as well.
So now I have a nice extremely small media pc (but not) under the TV. Films, music, internet, work all there and controlled from my sofa.

They have newer versions of what I have, (RT-MWK02), but mine works really well. Very easy to pair up. Compact and light.
Typing does take a little bit getting use to but once you do, it works out great.
Haven't have any issues. Touch pad is real nice.
I've picked it up on Amazon.
Hi guys,
I've just buy a Genius navigator 905BT mouse but i can't make it work on my TF300T.
The mouse is paired, connected and made as an input device but i haven't any cursor.
The mouse works fine on my GS2 or PC.
On the tablet all is OK with an USB wireless mouse.
I tried with deactivated wifi but it's the same.
Any ideas for me ?
Thanks.
hi there,
is there any chances that you've disabled the mouse function from the keyboard dock? there's a button with a touchpad icon on the uppermost row of the keyboard.. i believe when it's off, not just the embedded touchpad, but the whole mouse functionality is disabled.
i am a new owner of this tablet. it is my understanding that i can use a wireless keyboard and mouse. does anyone have any recommendations for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo? not looking for anything fancy.... just that it works. TIA.

I've used a number of combinations. The HP TouchPad Bluetooth keyboard works well, and then you can just get a small wireless USB mouse in combination.
My personal favorite that I've switched to is Logitech's K400 keyboard/mouse pad. Cannot recommend this enough, it works great. Scrolling with two fingers on the touch pad works, home key, volume buttons all work as well.
work "best" with the Nexus Player? Looking for a mini keyboard with touchpad.
TIA!
One of these types I think:

Logitech k400, no other, of course
k400
I have been unable to get my logitech k400 working with my NP. I'm guessing that maybe it is my OTG adapter. Anyone else having problems getting their k400 to work?
Nexus Player keyboard
Yes you have given an option for a wireless keyboard to work with the nexus player... It says Bluetooth keyboard is needed so will the keyboard you showed work with an otg or do I need a Bluetooth keyboard
