What did you flash on RSD Lite and why did you flash it? Are there any options? (Fastboot, RSD, nvflash)?
because i didn't like it i wanted the old firmware back.
and i was flashing to 1.26
Unfortunately it does look like a hard brick (unless you can get to Fastboot/RSD options). Downgrading is dangerous and not advised via rsd.
There is no revival for a hard brick. You have to figure out a way for either a warranty replacement with motorola/your carrier (tough since your international) or just buy a new phone. Sorry.
And there no options left nothing happens..
oh and it looks exactly like that what this guy here has:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188577
but i think paypal will help me,i've just noticed that youre king if you pay via paypal!
How is PayPal of help here?
did he say whether he could rsd/fastboot?
there is something called paypal customer protection, which helps you out.
Because for the seller there is no other option than taking the device back!

Let me get this right.......you screwed up your phone out of stupidity, and now you are going to use Paypal to screw the seller over??? Did I interpret correctly?
Beamed from WinBorg 4G via XDA Premium
yeah exactly!
I got screwed on this way by some customers twice,so i'll try that one time too.

Yea, I can't blame you, after all your name is "stupididiot"
Just because someone did it to you doesn't mean you should ever do it to someone else. That's a real sh**ty thing to do.
Mh i don't care because this seller also told me it was a non branded model!
So let me get this right. You completely ignored tons of warnings telling you not to flash backwards using RSD Lite, after unlocking. Now your going to commit fraud to get your money back. The protection is for people who really get screwed by a seller, not to protect you from being a moron.
i hope the seller sees this thread and tells paypal!
I did not unlock,i was just stupid and the customer service from motorola can fix that problem and in the forum someone told also sb to tell AT&T that it happend while a regular update!
But is there realy no option to cure this phone? A friend is going next week to the USA,can the people in the AT&T shop fix it? Because i could give the phone to him
Oh, so the dude failed to read millions of warnings, screwed up the phone and now wants to bankrupt the seller?
I think we should contact XDA admins to look up this users email address and email paypal with a notice that he is going to commit fraud.
How about that asshole? I think I will PM Mr. Clown right now.

I don't know what model you would be using in Cambodia, but, like the man says, the wrong radio will brick the phone if it's the wrong one for the model you use.
You still haven't told us the model number.
Even if you live in Cambodia: your phone is bricked, most probably no Software solution
In order of reality:
1st HW solution: Buy a new one
2nd HW solution: Replace motherboard (perhaps not definitive solution)
3rd HW solution: Grab an osciloscope, measure and test the device, find out which chips are done, replace them.
But to be honest: If you cannot send it to HTC or t-mobile for repairs, you have an expensive paperweight. sorry for that mate.
Please note: if you can send it for repairs: chance is this could cost major money: If they find out you HSPL-ed your device, all costs will fall back on you and you will be facing a big bill. If it absolutely does nothing at all, chance is they will replace it free of charge, but absolutely no guarantee this will happen as their diagnostic equipment can see more than you would like...

look here, it will set you back $329, still your phone is probably bricked beyond JTAG's capabilities.
As for your other question: it is a combination of a jig (hardware/box), connector(s) and software.
Also note that if you can access the phone using JTAG, it is still possible you will need other replacement parts to fix it
Problem there: obtain the parts, price of the parts.
I believe you are beter off buying a new one.
BTW: the question about the phone keeps playing up:
a t-mobile HD2 says nothing. t-mobile Europe is completely different from t-mobile US (TMOUS), therefore the repeated question about your phone type.
google "riff jtag" costs about 150 euro, and you will need to dismantle the phone to do it.
on the plus side, if done right it will work, plus once you have a jtag box you can make money fixing other peoples phones. (works with many kinds of phone.)
Thanks all user.

its a tmous, it was already established in another thread, plus only the tmous shows those symptoms when flashing non tmous radios.
Unless you are experienced in this kind of work i would SERIOUSLY recommend you send this away for repair. JTAG route means taking your device apart and soldering, not for the faint hearted!!
There is no software solution, if your device cannot enter bootloader, im afraid its properly bricked!
Use the web to locate nearest repair centre.
Dear PA49
i also in cambodia and faced the same problem as yours.. the damn **** expensive bricked hd2.. i dont know if u have solved your problem.. mine is still waiting for 3 days by a mobile care shop in my home town.,..he charge me 30$
this is my phone number 017 777373
and probably your boot is erased, not a must you have your jtag, you can take it
to a repair shop for dead boot repair/unbrick.

way to go to resurrect a two year old thread
I was wondering if t-mobile offers some kind of service for people like me who have t-mobile phones that weren't necessarily purchased by the person bringing it in or bought and activated with them...like if I could pay some sort of extra fee for them to accept my defective "hardware locked" phone for a replacement? Lmk, thanks!
Oh and just to make sure whoever's reading this post understands my predicament; I bought a vibrant off someone from CL, rooted and flashed the robotix1.1w/oc rom, decided I didn't like it so I nandroid restored to a previous stock/root backup and while it was rebooting or doing the backup (I can't remember) the phone just hangs on the vibrant/samsung screen and won't turn off unless I pull the battery. Any help would be appreciated, thanks again!

Nope. I can't get into downloader or recovery on it. I've tried literally every method, I've even followed yours to a T in the other couple "hardware locked" vibrant threads but to no avail.
I just noticed that when I plug my phone into a computer, both the internal memory drive and the sd card pop up as drives but both are labeled unknown and seem to be corrupted....

That's because you're not able to push the "Mount USB" button.
It doesn't hurt to ask T-Mobile to replace it. It helps if you're paying for the $6/month warranty.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Damn well I don't think I have that warranty option added on my plan...I hope they replace it.
Should I try to sell it, turn it in, or should I just wait, hold on to it and hope someone figures out some sort or fix?
Try and get it replaced before worrying about it.
I've heard plenty of stories about people getting their phones serviced by the carrier even though they were bought on eBay or whatever.

Thanks for the flame..but did you even read my entire OP? I clearly stated I bought the phone off someone from CL and the reason for my post in the first place was to find out if T-mobile would allow me to swap phones if I paid an extra servicing fee or something.
Of course I wouldn't expect to walk into the store, demand a new phone because mine doesn't work and then get one. I just don't have the extra couple hundred dollars to "buy another one and leave it alone" sorry I'm not rich like you.
If you're not gunna help me out, why don't you just NOT REPLY and leave ME alone.
tmobile exchanged a vibrant i bought off cl, i told them that the youtube app was causing the phone to soft reset everytime I accessed the app. Do not, I repeat, Do not tell tmo that you got the phone off cl. tmo sent me a brand new phone two days later. The only concern i have is the fact that your phone had a custom rom on it, if tmo determines that you installed a custom os which voids your warranty, they will charge you $400 for the replacement phone they sent you.
hope this helps
I just bought this Vibrant over ebay.
What sux is, the user is some what mislead prints.
Here is the case, phone is locked down. pattern lock down...
Factory Reset code does not work.
Hold Down Vol Down + Vol Up + Power Button, Release Power on Vibrant Logo show up. This procedure done so many times, did NOT work.
Does this mean I have a Hardware Lock? on this phone. (the phone shows July/17/2010)
Please tell me what options there are to solve this issue?
I like to use this phone on a prepaid sim. later get this sim unlock also.
Adb reboot recovery. You have to dl the android sdk first.

does this require, going in the device and enable debug? cause I can not even go in to Stock Recovery Mode. Stuck on the google account log in screen.
can you tell me how to get adb recovery to work?
thnx in advance.
Why does this post seem a little fishy to me? My instincts would lead me to think the phone isn't legit. You bought a phone off of Ebay, AND it came screen locked? Having sold many a phone on Ebay, I can tell you the first thing I do is wipe the phone and restore it to 100% stock. Receving one locked is alot more than "misleading", it just plain makes no sense. But I.m guessing you already know that. If it walks like a duck, and quack likes a duck....it's probably a stolen phone
Just sayin.....

That would be too easy
Dipping it in acid unlocks it in sub seconds, if you use hot water it will take longer, but you will get an email confirmation of a full unlock.

Tell you what, I actually got a hold of the Original owner of the phone, she was nice to add me to Authorized user, some hispanic lady. She gave up on the phone cause not what she exactly need. have no clue how to even use it correctly. Friend of her, sold it on ebay. I bought it, ever since been in touch with T-Mobile. Trying to get IMEI Unlock code!! still waiting...for that email...
do not bother, "there is app to get unlock code" I KNOW! there is!! I want to use it badly...Problem is, I am in a town where T-Mobile does NOT EXIST!! Only ATT. That is why, getting unlock code, so I can use it on ATT. Log in the phone, and Format with Custom ROMs.

unlikely, you bought it off ebay so it's likely used, even so you've used it already since you've had it. Only way I can see if motorola can tell you since the IMEI would have been registered to another motoblur account before.

And how I can check it? Only call to Motorola?
I always though it was odd that this phone didn't have a total call timer. Every previous cell phone I ever had had that...
I chated with motorola support yesterday. They can't help too. The only thing that thay can provide me is MSN number ohh and warranty period. These things you can find in their site by yourself.
They advise to ask all detailed information in the store where you bought the item. It's impossible for me.
So the only one way is trust to your seller ))))
What does it matter along as it looks new and runs well with a good warranty?

i cant think of anything since the phone has such a small amount of support (as you can see from all the chimes lol) i doubt anyone can solve this problem seems like you bricked it some how so try factory resetting it, here's a link to do that
http://support.sprint.com/support/t...Reset_via_Hardware_MOTOROLA_ADMIRAL/26293-396
if that doesnt work try registering your phone to motorola they dont ask for receipt or proof or purchase just say it was a gift, once it asks for purchase date make it a few weeks ago and then you'll have a year from your "purchase date" to mail in your phone if you encounter a problem, you only pay for shipping.
lastly if you have insurance on your phone you can call sprint and tell them that the phone broke on its own its a internal problem and insurance covers that and they have to send you another phone free of charge and you will send that one back
hope one of these solutions help, if you have a questions PM me cause im barley ever in this section
Well, in my case I can't get it to sprint again. Not in my country. My phone is in a dead end which can't go to recovery mode. Still hoping to find a sbf file
