after updating 3.1 it got into that infinity boot loop, so I used fastboot to flash my io tab.
Now how can I get it back to stock, as it seems doesn't load the touchwiz OTA update. Thanks!

Coming from AOSPish 1.4, I disabled the Voodoo fix (perhaps I did something wrong?) and then proceeded to flash Bionix Fusion 1.1 (I didn't reboot after voodoo disable). The flash was aborted because of some missing file. Realizing I had no nandroid backups, I decided to flash back to AOSPish. Got a similar error, and now my phone boot loops and has bands of colors in between loops. I can't get to recovery or download mode. Is there still hope or is my phone totally screwed/bricked?
UPDATE:
I was booting into download mode incorrectly, I got to download mode and flashed stock 2.1
Always, Always, ALWAYS, do a nandroid backup.
Hello,
I was running the stock ROM, but decided to flash the Energy ROM. I first flashed the JB.4.2.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip and then the new ROM. However it just got stuck at the ASUS splash screen. After several unsuccessful attempts I flashed the JB.4.1.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip and restored by backup, only for it get stuck in the ASUS splash screen again. I tried to flash the stock 4.1.1 from ASUS, but it fails every time along with any other custom 4.1.1 ROMs I try!
Can anyone help me? I can have still access to fastboot and TWRP. I have been searching these forums for days with no luck.
Edit: the only time I've gotten past the splash screen is if i flash the JB.4.2.1.Bootloader.and.partitions.zip then restore my stock 4.1.1 backup, but then it just hangs in the boot animation. I tried hen to flash the 4.1.1 stock over it only for TWRP to say it has failed.
is your boot loader unlocked ?
careful with TWRP and the JB 4.2.1 bootloader. You can only use the custom TWRP specifically made for the JB 4.2.1 bootloader.
Hey guys,
I recently flashed a new 4.3 rom to my S3 (Imperium 21.0).
After a while i decided to update the kernel to Googy Max, downloaded it from OTA and went to install it via TWRP, after installing the galaxy decided it wouldn't boot and just returned to the recovery all the time, i thought it must be the broken kernel and re-flashed the rom, everything was fine until i went back to the recovery (to backup the rom), after i finished backup and tried to restart my S3 the same happens, the galaxy just reboots back to the recovery, and the only way i found to get of it is to re-flash the rom :/
I don't want to re-flash it again... Any ideas what can i do?

Hey guys,
I got a TF201 tablet.
I was trying to install the crombi-KK rom on it.
After several hours of trying and failing I found out that I had to install TWRP 2.8, but to do so, I needed to run the hairy bean boot loader.
When I figured that out, I shut down the device, and then nvflashed it back to the stock FW.
When the flash finished, the tabled was no longer booting (weird because I have never seen it failing after nvflashing the stock firmware).
After nvflashing it, the bootloader when back to ICS. I installed flashed TWRP using fastboot, when I started the recovery image I got a message asking for the password for data. After doing some research on that I figured that I needed to format the data partition for it to boot again.
Once that was done, the device boot OK to the stock ROM. I tried upgrading back to JB using the asus upgrade procedure and the tablet rebooted back to ICS.
I tried to install the stock JB firmware using twrp, it says it completes OK but when I reboot the tablet it goes back to ICS.
I then flashed several other recovery images, every time I start the tablet in recovery I get a message saying that it cannot mount the /cache partition and others.
If I try to flash any ROM using any recovery sometimes it says it worked but the tablet boots back to ICS, some other times and says it failed and goes back to ICS.
I used to have a BAT that helped me formatting the partitions and then to flash blobs one by one, but I deleted it because I thought I was never going to need it anymore.
I was wondering if what partitions does this tablet has (EX: recovery, boot, app, etc).
Is there any toolkit that formats the partitions and flashes then using stock JB images extracted from the blob files?

So I updated to Lolipop and I don't care for it due to lack of customizations. I'm trying to go back to Sacs Custom ROM which is 4.x.
When I try to install it, phone reboots, sits at LG logo, then it reboots back into recovery. Any ideas?
When you updated, did you accept the OTA update? If so you can't go back without downgrading your boot loader back to zv4 1st. Try HERE.
