I got my evo3d rooted i download a few apps to take a screenshot of my phone but the imgs are soo bad! they look blurry and like deform really bad.

No that's fine..I have read that some of the new roms are incorporating native screen shot support to help with this problem..I'm not.sure but it could be that the app you are using (shootme?) May not support the.e3d yet..since we just got root hopefully this will be resolved shortly

It looks like if i shake it harder the worst the picture is!
i was using screenshoot it? now im using drocap2 and it works if i put it as timer instead of shake.
I might install a rom then. I want all stock looking with out the sprint apps, do you know what rom would be better. also i have no idea how to install a new rom lol.
Use a static wallpaper and not a live wallpaper and see if you have better results.

shoot me doesn't work right...use dropcap2..it's free in the market and it works great. you can even set its capture mode to trigger by notification
only one that works correctly is Drocap2 and Screenshot It. everything else is not supported just yet.
But this will no long be a problem cause roms from now on will most likely have built in screenshot program

I use MyPhoneExplorer and it works fine on my Rooted Evo 3D shooter. But when i just tired to add my screen shots was told they are 523 x 830 and the dimensions suppose to be 640x640.

I noticed that the HTC sense gallery does not have Picassa integration like the stock gallery does. I got the stock Froyo Gallery3D.apk and installed it and it works fine so I decided to attach here for everyone!
Just download put on sd card, click with astro or the like, choose install with package installer, enjoy Picassa goodness.

As far as I can tell the version in the market is not the official one. It is the gallery from eclair.
I don't know if it really matters or not. I suppose you could pull the apk from any 2.2 rom and it would work fine.

works great... yeah this feature suxed balls on the 1st gen mytouch 3g... I remember CM including it on one of his update and a few days later he updated his rom again with taking it off cuz it wan't stable... But man does this work great on the MT4G

I just set the 3D gallery to default and I used LP to hide the icon for the other gallery. So its still there but you wouldn't know it.

Pull down the iced glacier ROM posted in the development section. You can get the stock one out of there.

If you are interested, to solve this issue, you can simply replace the MMS app you have with the one from AOSP Android 2.2. You can find it in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846113
I changed it to the new one, and it integrates flawlessly with the 3D Gallery as well as everything else on the phone. And, I happen to like it better than the MMS app that came with the ROM.
And then you can actually delete the stock gallery app, and there won't be any adverse effects (for me at least, individual results may vary).

Good find then, thanks for it. I wasn't sure if you posted it because you can't stand the gallery app (like me) or as a fix for this issue. Either way, now people have a link from this thread to fix the issue in case they run into it.

btw, I installed it (it works nicely on the mytouch4g) but I am not sure I want to delete the original gallery (just in case; also cause I haven't set up a nandroid backup simply cause I'm not sure how to) so I just 'freeze'd it with Titanium Backup Pro...that shouldn't mess up anything right? I was wondering if anyone knows how to port the new Droid X Multitouch keyboard on to the MyTouch 4g? If you've never used it, it's fantastic. They have it now working on the Evo 4g here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=753343. I've tried to get it to work on the Mytouch 3g with now avail. It will install, but just force closes. I'm picking up the 4g tomorrow and was really hoping to get this keyboard installed on both. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Ultra Keyboard is the exact same thing and it works perfectly. Multitouch, and WAY customized. Multiple them make it look like any keyboard from Samsung, Stock Android, and HTC. Great app !!!
Thanks, looks like a great keyboard but I really like the simplicity of the Droid X's keyboard. Plus, I see where it says that multitouch is included, but I guess it's in the background like the stock Android keyboard. The Droid X's KB lets you hold the shift button down, while typing other letters like "true" multitouch and dare I say . . . the iphone's kb. Ultra KB looks like it has some great features, so I may use it too, but still want to find a way to port the actual Droid X's keyboard to the MT4G like others have with the EVO, etc. Thanks!
Works the same way. You can just hold the shift and type. Using it with the HTC theme it looks just like it. Either way, I am sure someone can port it over.

Do you have another keyboard installed? Try to wipe cache, and Dalvik then reflash it???

From what I have been doing... trying to get multi touch to work on mtg4 with no luck this sux... Yes you need root to do this.

I think this is a common issue for Amaze camera port on CDMA. Hows sweepspot working out? That also crashes the camera app in the Amaze camera port thread.
Its it possible for this to work on miui or cm7, just wondering (don't flame please lol)

A lot of camera functions still don't work or crash the screen

I tried this on Eternity 3.5 and it get's stuck at the HTC screen and needs a battery pull.
I flashed through recovery and wiped cache and dalvic, re-booted and camera wasn't even in my app drawer. I went into Root Explorer and into system/app and found camera in there, permission's were set right so I clicked on the app and installed and now have camera. I am jot sure though if that's what I was supposed to do or if something went wrong somewhere.
Two issues I found:
1. Can not select burst mode. It always jump to action mode instead.
2. While select sweep mode, i can take first picture but then it hang when second picture taken. I had to manually end camera before I can use Canberra again.

what rom did you flash the amaze cam on?
this is for roms that DONT have 3d working.
this is not a cam fix its a 3d fix for roms with out 3d.
if you already had 3d working on the rom then the amaze cam would have no issues.

Thank you for the clarification. The ROM I am running already had working 3D, and I just flashed the Amaze camera over it. 1080p 3D looks great. I haven't verified the resolutions and bitrates are legit though.

Because it is based on AOKP, which is Senseless, the camera not working is one of the bugs that have not been worked out. I'm sure once a dev fixes it, there will be elation on these boards.

I'm wondering, strictly wondering, if the Camera.apk and associated .odex file could be pulled from a CM9 ported ROM and put on this one. Just to see if it works.
You'd have to manually delete the old files and put the new ones on, restart to recovery, fix permissions, and then restart.

I had to do this with the Camera on an ICS ROM and it started working. Bear in mind that it was a Sense ROM, not a Senseless one.

I know the CM9 port has the 2d camera working, so your idea might work, but even if it does, the front camera and 3d stilll are a work in progress.

I do occasionally use both, but I mainly wanted the OP to know before trying to incorporate that camera only to find stuff not working.
I do look forward to the day when cm9 and other aosp roms will fully work on the 3d.

Aaron just uploaded 38a and stated that 38b will have camera working. Check his thread. Just updated. Not too much longer.
However, if you want camera working in aosp, devil toast has working camera.

That's why I don't leave sense either, but when I do use a different launcher, I use Android Pro Widgets as those are very sense like.

I don't understand. I use Rom toolbox constantly to change fonts. I even used fonts from toolbox and converted to bold type font.
I'm having this exact same problem so I didn't want to start a new thread. I've tried ROM Toolbox and probably half a dozen other font changing apps and none of them work. They all request (and are granted) su but after rebooting, same stock font. I must be missing something obvious. P769 w/20F rooted.
I believe that it's because LG UI is based off of Sense. If you use the font changer, some browsers font change on Google search. But that's about it.

I didn't know that the LG UI was Sense-based. Even so, I previously owned an HTC Glacier (myTouch 4G) which was definitely Sense-based and I was able to change fonts without a problem.
Do you have any other ideas?

Well then, idk why it doesn't work. As I said, the browser would change the text of Google Search results in *some* browsers, I think it worked on Opera. But the actual system itself? Nope, nothing. You're stuck with what LG gave you aha. It doesn't matter to me though. Roboto looks LEGIT.

I would love to! But my camera doesn't pick up my phone's screen as well as I thought it would, I don't want it to look bad /: Do you have any suggestions? I wouldn't use screencast because it looks unprofessional and laggy aha xD

Those are how I don't want to do it ahaha! Because the screen is somewhat laggy /;
EDIT: But I really do want to. My camera is like 4 years old, me being a teenager I don't use digital cameras xD My mother has one, so I can check if it does any better picking up the screen. Hers is newer, and maybe there won't be as much glare. I really would like to start and get a nice joint YouTube/G+ profile going.

Well, I do. I believe I can edit some light settings on Sony Vegas 12 (Which I TOTALLY got legally xD) to where the glare on the screen will be.. less dramatic. I'm also considering doing it in a brightly lighted room, so that the glare isn't as dramatic when compared to the dark. I believe it might just work. And I was getting on to ask, after this video, what other content would be useful?
I'm not interested in unlocking my bootloader, so I won't be making a tutorial aha.
