[Q] Alien theme ----> Stock theme? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to go back to the motorola theme from the alien 3 theme?

try to flash this theme right here, it's the original stock theme that Nottach uses for 'uninstalling' his custom Themes:
http://www.mediafire.com/?8sombt6awnqqujn

This worked for the most part, but the home launcher is still the one from the alien theme. And a couple other things are the same too. Do you know why this happens??

Flash the no wipe version of the rom

Do I need to flash back to 1.8.3 and start over or can I just flash the no wipe version over the alien build 3?

Have you tried a fruitcake recovery? Those are about as stock as you can get.

I9100 Theme

I really want a theme:
( [THEME]**SPECIAL EDITION v2.2**IMMACULATE PERFECTION**(26.10.2011)*JKAY*KI3,4*Online* )
But unfortunetly this theme is only available for the international version. I was wondering, though, would i be able to flash this theme if i was running an international based rom? Or might this theme even work with the stock AT&T rom? And if not, is there any way I could make it work?
Thanks a ton for the help! =D

Yeah you can. If you flash an i9100 rom that will work with that firmware, you can flash hellraiser from the development thread that Entropy made. You will be able to use that theme. Really easy bro.
Alright thanks, I just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything to screw up my phone.

[Q] Installing a new ROM - Questions

Ok so i am wanting to install the Evil Fascination ROM and i currently have ICS build 6.5 with the glitch kernel. Evil Fascination says that it is a ED01 based rom, so what exactly does that mean? I have the DI01 factory samsung Odin package, so if i odin that, and then install the CWM recovery and wipe data/cache, will this rom work?
I am just confused and i have read all over but not found my answer. Thanks for anyones help!

Evil fascination was a froyo based rom from about a year ago that is very outdated. Ed01 was the first official Verizon over the air update to android 2.2(froyo) and evil fascination was a custom version of that.
I would recommend updating to your current rom to ths 7.1 or one of the others ics (AOKP, gummy, or codename)
But if you just want to try a really old rom for fun then go for it.

Really what I want is a nice dark ROM (like evil fascinate) that is based on 2.2 that isn't that outdated
The reason for the switch is because I need to run an Android app that doesn't fully work on ics so I wanted to switch to a different one

Unless you need/love touchwiz I would suggest CM7 found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385624
With cm7's theme Chooser app you can browse themes available on play store (market) that will satisfy your needs.

SUPERDARK aint based on GB ,
get the EH03 (official verizon GINGERBREAD) based ROMS , they are all extremely good and work pretty well, provided you follow the instructions carefully.
here are the three ( not in any order )
1.. [ROM][KERNEL][RECOVERY][02.03.2012] GeeWiz 2.6 EH03 TouchWiz Debloated
2.. (Rom){EH03}[1.19.12] SuperClean3 Milestone 2
3..[Rom]{2.7.12}[EH03] TSM Resurrection 2.2 (touchwiz4/tsm parts)
the superclean and the resurrection Roms have many themes available , there are ca few available for GEEWIZs well in there .
chk here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1218257
just choose the ones u like
all these are Solid ROMs , just depends which of these ur fascinate prefers .
my 2 cents .
aokp has a dark theme...

Just wipe caches and reflash the ROM

Rodgers note on At&t

Whats is the difference in the att and the rogers note? Can I just flash the att firmware on the rogers note and not have any problems?

Hi,
Yes, you can flash the AT&T firmware to the Rogers Note. I have flashed many firmwares onto my Rogers Note with no issues so far. Just make sure that you follow the steps completely or else you risk having a bricked device.
Do you know where theres a guide I cant find anything on how to do it

Do you have something to flash roms with? Like TWRP2 or CWM?
If so, the steps are pretty straight forward for most roms:
1) Wipe Cache / Factory Reset
2) Install ROM
3) Wipe Cache/Dalvik
Sometimes there can be a Step 2b where you need to flash GAPPS.
If you don't have TWRP2 or CWM (I prefer TWRP2) you can find it here for the Note:
TWRP2
EDIT: These are the steps are what I've seen for ATT roms on Rogers. I have an ATT Note and cannot confirm this for you, but I've seen others have success.

That doesn't help you. That is a link on how to root but it doesn't include the necessary steps for a Canadian Note. Go here to root:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1775263
Then install your ROM. You didn't mention if you wanted rooted, debloated, or completely stock. :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1740367
Completly stock unrooted

Does the same process work to put it on tmobile?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Yes. You will have to root the phone first to put another carrier's firmware on the phone. And then you will have to find the ROM of your choice. Most unrooted stock ROMs are going to be odin flashable *.tar files. And I don't believe they can be flashed to a different phone. Your best choice in my opinion would be to look for a stock rooted version that can be flashed by a custom recovery.
Is there a way to change the baseband its still showin rogers baseband version but everything is working except software upgrade
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
All you have to do is install the ATT ICS UCLF5 modem through CWM.
http://d-h.st/tjh
I dont have a custom recovery installed
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Well you didnt want that modem anyway. You want UCLF6. If you flashed using odin there should have been a new modem installed too. Will have to look for the radio to be flashed by odin. Searching now.
Here is a link for the entire UCLF6 ROM with the modem(baseband) included: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/162779447/3bb6230/I717UCLF6_I717ATTLF6_ATT.zip.html

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Sorry I really can't help you anymore than that. I originally thought you couldn't even flash a stock ROM through odin on a different carrier's phone but I now believe you can. And if you can then that ROM I directed you to would have wiped and made your phone to look exactly like the ATT version including the baseband. You followed that tutorial to a tee? Did you use odin to install the ATT ROM originally? Must be something we are missing here. Hope one of the pros chime in.
Yea used odin for all eveything is at&t except the baseband
