After a downgrade from ORFR 2.3.4 to ORFR 2.2.2, every works, except the webtop... In my phone, the webtop version is : OSHWT_U1_6.54.0
When I connect it to the laptop or webtop dock, it only shows the media center option.
Do you have any idea to how to restore the dock app ?
I think there is some problems with dock or portal system apps, but I don't know how to correct it...
I tried to do the webtop mod, but with it the phone doesn't react when I plug it on a dock
The dock doesn't react with the charge dock, it only charge... I thing it has something to do with the usb mode or something like that.
but the laptop keyboard works with the media center...
Do you know which file manage the usb dock detection ?

Is the usb port dependent to radio rom ? If it's the case, where can I find a 2.2.2 orange fr radio rom ?

First try d/l another program from Market to handle your're bluetooth astro bluetooth module or another such.
If not it may be a problem with your flash as I checked the thread and no one else seems to be having that problem. Try re-downloading it and flash again through xrec... full wipe, partition wipe, davlik and battery then flash.

Don't worry about update.zip mate... thats just another way to flash a ROM or an update to selected parts, thats up to the Devs whether they use that or not. =)
That leaves only the bluetooth app from Market or a full reboot.
It may be that you files for bluetooth got corrupted accidentally when you flashed it before... Either way try another ROM theres plenty of good ones out there... I'm a big fan of rdannar/x10 project and he's SuperArc or ASOP... or the trusty Cyanogen...
Just run a repair on PC Companion or SEUS then pick a new one..... remember BACKUP though either with Backup and Restore or MyPhoneExplorer... they're the two I prefer =)
Try the app first though. It should bypass the files
EDIT: And just be careful of the Beta or pre-releases like that ROM was... you get bugs like this, and unless you're into testing Just stick with solid versions

I'm not sure if i can fix your problem, but maybe you could try this miui music player it works in most roms.
If anyone knows a newer version i give a thanks because this is the only one i found and my memory doesn't even help me to remember where i found it

I believe it won't install directly, but if you copy it inside system/app and reboot it will work like a charm.

I am having a problem with the sound coming from the ear speaker
I am also having problems with force closes, Facebook connections (the background sync) fail, and I can't pair with a Bluetooth hands-free device. (if it is compatibility can this be modified rom?) I have problem with auto brightness. I used a lot of different widgets/apps to turn it on, but they don't work. FAQ said that I should turn it on with power widget, i tried and it doesn't work.

Yep I fixed permissions, however, it did not 'fix' the sound. Still coming from ear speaker and blue tooth issue is not resolved.
I DON'T THINK 3.8 was not available until this morning, I will upgrade to see if it "fixes it", HOWEVER, IF you are having problems with 3.8, the issue isnt resolved.

You need to install the new GB ready xrecovery. There's a thread about it in the development forums.

Can you tell me which power widget do you use? I dont have any power widget pre installed in wolf rom. Only on/off widget.

hello..this is my first post here. I flashed WB rom v3.5 around the time it was released and its totally changed my phone. Its super snappy now..
I saw the 3.8 update thing today and my question is whether I can flash it using xrecovery without any data wipe because I have already done all the syncing stuff after the first flash.
I flashed 3.8 update without any data wipe and all works fine for me.
After countless true of getting full ubuntu and some sort of desktop look on my ATRIX I today reflashed a rom formated both internal external storage and attempted the webtop2sd way.. now I got no webtop when docked just a small mirror of my phones screen on my giant tv... I know the easiest way to fix will be to flash a webtop zip via cam. But does anyone got any pointers for this desktop mod?
I just did mine last night. I had a huge problem as well and my whole webtop completely died.
I ended up flashing my ROM and got everything back again and then I tried using webtop2sd again. This time everything worked perfectly fine, I didn't have any problems, I just turned off screen timeout and then just let the program execute. Right now everything is working perfectly fine.
I am not very sure what the problem could have been or if my solution is the best one, but it seemed to work for me.

did you re-install webtop after flashing? i thought most of the ROMs don't include webtop.
yeah tried reinstalling webtop.. i flashed back to aura 1.3#5 as testing through the different builds its what works best for me i formated everything so it was all clean and all i got was a mirror image of my fone no webtop... ive reverted to this for now (Full Linux (Debian) inside WebTop! v0.2.6) which i am just about to test and see if i can get what i want from it.. cheers guys

Nah, i moved to miniCM7pro, it has only one problem, not that serious, and have practically the same functionality. To many playing with sony style to make wifi useful. Thanks for the tip tho...

I'm at holidays, so I have spare time and i have a backup mobile, so, at last, I've decided migrating my stock to a newer ROM. I just wanted to be able to use multitouch for zooming images/maps/webs, whilst not loosing any functionality. If I can also use a VPN to connect to work via RDP, ald view streaming flash sites... well, that will be a plus. As my mobile version is pretty new i know I can NOT unlock bootloader, so i can't also change my kernel. No problem... there are some ROMs that will bring me my basic needs. I require Androd 2.2 or newer... can't use ICS ROMs (need to change kernel/bootloader, unadvised for my mimmi). Okay, let's see the alternatives:
I've cheked Xperian Blaze v2, SE_Style v1.1, MiniCM7Pro v21, and Andread 2.3.5 Pro final v3
I've had some problems with one and others, but they all had the same issue: Wifi connection was not working. I've tried to ask in the development threads, but i couldn't (not enough messages), so I had to investigate on my own. Not an android developer, just user.
The last ROM I've checked is the Andread. The problem with others was "error" on trying to turn WIFI on, or turning it on but failing on getting IP, disabling the wifi and enabling it again for restarting process. The problem with Andread was slightly different: it made it all fine (establish connection, authentication, get an IP...), but when you want to use network it doesn't work. Seems to be missing routes or something.
I must say I love these ROMs, all of them. Launcher is not a problem, i always install Nemus (love its dock, folders, and ability to resize widgets), although ARC's one is good enough (way better than mimmi's one, despite being sooo similar)
Ok, ok, my solution: I've made a backup of original system before tests, didn't I? ok, lets extract it and see... I've found than /system/lib/Modules/tiwlan_drv.ko was less than 1Mb in my Andread, but 8.7Mb in my original files' backup. Hummm now it isn't working... What would happen if I overwrite it with older one? Lets try it... copy original one (the one in my backup) to SDCard, then use RootExplorer for mounting /system R/W, copy and overwrite Andread's tiwlan.ko, change it's permissions to match original ones (644), and reboot.
Now I have wifi, and my andread is working fine. I still have to recalibrate battery and replace the DroidSansFallback.TTF with the MIUI's one (so I can read my father-in-law chinese messages), but happy enough.
Not sure if it can work with the other ROMs I've cheked before, or with any other mobile. As far as I've seen in this forum, you always talk about the 2.1.1.A.0.6 SE firmware or the newest 2.1.1.C.0.1. I had the 2.1.1.B.0.1 (yes, it's a B). Not sure if it's due I'm in Spain, or my mobile was bought to Yoigo and not Sony... I always assumed the differences will be so minimal it doesn't mind ^_^

H96 PRO+ Amlogic S912 Octa-Core TV Box w/ 3GB DDR3, 32GB ROM
android 6.x on it
normally the tv boxes will boot to recovery.img on sd card root but this one just always boots
to its internal recovery..
has anyone managed to get twrp working on it as I need to do a nand backup
I see its got new permission to my other box which boots fine.. new feature of driod 6?
perhaps I need to copy recovery via windows pc to sd card root instead?
what am I doing wrong.. I dont want to flash over internal one if can help it. and not even sure if that works
or bricks it.

I was after someone who owns that same box can confrim a procedure they used
yes it came with root.. I just had to do update superuser
how come apks that reboot to recovery dont have that option like simple reboot.
dont you need the zip versuon for update? I did try booting to recovery and update from FS and select the update.zip
a dummy file someone made but it didnt work.

from what i read.. update also replaces the recovery partition? not boot to sdcard one.
I found russian site.. that claim to boots from sdcard but dammed if mine will go..
I checked it on a PC the recovery.img is there.
Im sure i have right one but I try grabbing their version and retry.

To run from removable devices and media, micro SD card (connect without using a USB-Hub):
1) format the media in the Fat32 system;
2) Copy the root of the media file recovery.img;
3) disable the power supply from the box, press and hold the "recovery" through the hole on the bottom box (click "recovery" let go after 5 seconds)
switch on the power supply box into the outlet - launched TWRP Recovery.
has all languages in this version but default is english.
seems using simple booter apk to boot to recovery boots but goes to
stock not the sdcard image as well..
have to use side switch.. kind of annoying. but atleast it works.
must be something in the boot hardware process with button that check sdcard first???

I have tried pairing it to the devices Bluetooth & unpairing it and just trying to connect to it with the dongle. Neither will work. Now if I pair it to my tablet everything (mouse pad, keyboard, & D-pad) all work instantly.
Anyone else experiencing this? Have any idea why it won't work? Have something to do with the other remote?
A different Bluetooth keyboard paired immediately... My problem is the normal remote won't power the box on. Anyone else got this problem? About to send it back

it worked without a clue on mine. i guess your device is defective. send it back as long as your warranty lasts.

I don't believe the keyboard is defective as it works with Windows based systems and it works perfectly on my phone which is android based.
I received an email reply from the company I bought it from saying the device is rooted and now the Bluetooth does not work...even though their advertisement prominently says that it's Bluetooth capable. They offer no other assistance...LOL
Obviously in the rooting process something was changed/removed regarding Bluetooth, you would think that since they are aware they would offer some type of patch, but no.

Just to stop the repeating for a while:
You can't change the launcher without modifying the APK or depending on the type of system the corresponding ODEX as well.
But you can install a different launcher and use that...
And the recovery will never go to the SD card unless you actually have a recovery on the SD.
You might be able to select the SD to install an update through the stock recovery but that's about it.
Port a TWRP for the box and all should be good.
Otherwise connect to PC and do a manual nandroid backup through ADB.

use nova launcher, there is no way to customize its main launcher. blue swipe icon is functional on mine.

has android 7.1 on it

I hope they did not include the entire system partition for the new security features.

Everything looks good..but Kodi , not tested.
India based channels not available in Kodi
