hi all,
I bought my samsung galaxy tab 10.1 yesturday in the uk. From reading on the net polaris officeis the best app to use for workimg with google docs however I only have the option to sync with box.net. Is anyone having a similar issue?
I have tried restoring to factory settings and looking for polaris updates but I have the same problem.
Can anyone help?

Does anyone know how to get the Tasks apk from the Galaxy S2 Touchwiz rom to work on our Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 running the Touchwiz UX? I have tried moving the tasks.apk and the task.provider to the System folder of my tablet, and that has gotten the task application to launch.
However, it does not give me the option of syncing with Exchange. On the Galaxy S2, syncing tasks is an option as soon as I enter my exchange email account. It's not an option on the Honeycomb exchange email though. I guess that's why I can't sync.
My question is, does anyone know a way to either port the exchange email apk from the Galaxy S2 over to the Galaxy Tab 10.1, or now how to enable the current email app to allow tasks sync? The Galaxy S2 is the first standard rom I've found that allowed exchange syncing for tasks, and I REALLY like it and use it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi guys,
I'm currently using the the calendars app of ICS.
My issue is that I would like to sync more than the standard 30 days behind. In the options, there is an option for synching everything, this would not be an issue if it was for calendar, but it seems to apply to my email as well. This is huge. To note, I am synching to my work exchange server.
Is there any current workaround or do I have to live with it? If there is already a soltuion, I apologise as I have searched and cant find it.
I'm rooted on a Galaxian Soup AOSP 4.0.4 ROM on a Galaxy tab 8.9 p7300
THanks in advance for any help
Hey everybody,
So I recently picked up my first tablet. Since I have the galaxy s3 for AT&T, I decided to get the galaxy tab 2 10.1. Ive had it for a few days and I absolutely love it! Although earlier today I started adding things to the default calender that comes installed on both the tab 2 and my gs3.
My problem is I cant seem to get my events I created on my tab to show up on my gs3. Both devices are using the same gmail account so they should sync just fine right?
I did do some research before posting this, but I didnt find any definite answers.
If someone could maybe shed some light on what the issue may be, that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance!
Check that web sync is enabled on the google account web page.
Also be sure sync is enabled on mobile devices settings as well.
Finally, double check that you are indeed using your Gmail account calendar and NOT the local storage database.

Hello,
i update my galaxy s2 from android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2
but after that i cant used samsung kies, i like to synce my S Memo to get back all my notes and i cant find the sync button
so i will be able to sync with my google acount.
please can anyone help me.
thanks
lior
Correct, kies won't recognise your phone as it's not stock. Once you get your noted off (email them to yourself/use Dropbox or something) then try an alternative such as Gnotes or evernote. That will sync your notes to other devices. I think there may even be chrome extensions for them

Hello guys
I know this question was asked a lot of times already, but I couldn't find a working solution yet.
I use two phones very often; A OnePlus 5 and a Samsung Galaxy S6. Both are connected to my Google account in the Google app, and are running Android 7.1 Nougat.
But when I add a reminder on either phone, it never shows up on the other, neither in the calendar app. Other syncs like notes work just fine.
Has anyone an idea of a fix?
