So, I had root explorer running just fine a little bit ago,now every time I try to load the app,it just sits at a blank screen for over a minute and it force closes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried rebooting several times.. anyone else have this problem? I'm running the most recent build of Trigger
Are you having sudden problems with any other apps? When in doubt, you can always just reflash the ROM.
I would try clearing the data/cache using titanium back up. Then un-install and re-install.

Ive tried a wipe/restore and clearing caches... it just keeps happening

ROM Manager doesn't actually fix permissions anymore anyway. Search the forum for Adrynalyne's Fix Permissions and wipe battery stats scripts. Once you flash in CWM, then you just pull up a terminal on your phone via a program such as Better Terminal Emulator, then type:
su
fxpms
and it will run.
Have to be rooted though.
Edit: Found the problem, Superuser App had block TB rights... works now.
I recently had my G-Tablet crash again and give me a bunch of forces closes on a handful of apps (1 being Titanium Backup). So I ran Fix Permissions as I had done in the past and it fixed those issues, but at the same time removed a bunch of apps I had downloaded on the Marketplace. So I went to restore them via TB, but it's telling me it doesn't have root rights!!! So is my tablet un-rooted? How do I get my root rights back? And is it possible to do without having to wipe everything?
Also is there a better way to turn off the Tablet than the side power button? This is was the cause of the crash, the device options menu didn't show up and the thing just turned off, next time I turned it on I got all the force closes.
I'm using TnT Lite 4.2.0 which other than the missing root rights seems to be functioning fine.
After installing Superuser I went ahead and installed the su beta that I purchased. Well bad idea. It started force closing on me, I tried uninstalling the extra app that came providing me with the beta and now su force closes on me whenever I try to open it. I lost my backups while rooting a while ago. I have tried clearing su's data, and my cache. What can I do?
Okay, nevermind. For some reason, it decided to work again when I attempted to uninstall SU's updates.
EDIT!
su force closes when an app attempts to access it's permissions.
EDIT2
It keeps force closing. Yay.
EDIT3
Okay so I really don't know what's going on. It seems that after uninstalling the updates again and updating it to the latest version it opens fine.
Fixed I guess.

I also had this yesterday but after updating it worked fine so... not big problem i think
I am using a chinese tablet, after install a custom kernel to overclock his cpu, the stock browser closes after 5 seconds running, only happens with this program, all other programs work properly.
This doesn't happened just after install the kernel, the browser was running nice, but after download some apps, or make some changes on chainfire3D the problem apperared, then tried to uninstall some games and return to default chainfire settings, but the browser keeps closing.
After that, I tried deleting all his data, reinstalling the program using the apk from /system/app folder but always stops the process and says "the aplication is not installed", tried reinstalling the kernel, tried erasing all the contents of /data/dalvik-cache folder and rebooting the device, but nothing changes.
Somebody knows how to solve this?
About 10 days ago, Play store froze on my device, now it won't open. Every time I click the app, it disappears for a moment then I am returned to home screen. I have tried clearing cache, clearing data, uninstalling updates, installing different playstore .apk from websites in an attempt to overwrite what I assume to be a corrupted .apk file. All to no avail. Has anyone seen this happen and know if I have any hope of fixing this or if I have to do the dreaded reset??. BTW my device is not yet rooted. But if I have to reset, probably will root after.
Reset and root after then.
