[Q] Front Facing camera issue - Motorola Photon 4G

Picked up a photon 4g and a nexus S for myself and the fiance a week ago. I was pretty stoked about my new phone, and I still am, but I did notice one thing. Front facing camera seems really dark and it lacks... well any color at all. I could almost call it black and white. Side by side to the girls Nexus S and her front facing is vibrant and fully colored. Now I'm wondering, before I go rushing back to the store, if I'm the only person with this issue or is anyone else seeing this? Didn't see a thread yet... so i'm hoping its just a bad camera

[Q] Green camera screen

The camera on my Streak presents a green screen and takes green pictures. I don't take many pictures with the Streak. It was probably two weeks between the last good picture and now with the green. I use SD 1.9 and just recently updated the baseband from 305 to 351 by flashing a new amss.mbn. The other event of significance between good pictures and green pictures was I lost the Streak on the golf course and it went through a heavy rain overnight before I found it. There was water inside. Have dried it out and everything else is working fine. I've searched lots of forums and most don't apply to the Streak. The most common solution to the green screen problem is to reboot. I've done that and I'm still green. This looks like a white balance problem or something similar, but the WB controls on the camera are much too limited to be any help. I hope this isn't a hardware failure. How can you tell? Anyone have any suggestions?
Nobody has any ideas?! Nobody wants to call me an idiot?
Sounds like maybe you have something on the lens, the grass/water stained the lens.
Thanks for your thoughts. This is a vivid green not a tinting like from a stain, plus it's the same on both the front and back cameras.

[Q] bright white spot/blotch on screen

I've had my evo 3d for about a month and a half and recently I've noticed that near the bottom middle of the screen there is a small 1/8 inch blotch that is brighter than the rest of the screen. It is most noticeable on a white screen and seems to be getting worse. Anyone know what could cause something like that? Or how to fix it without taking it to sprint?
Would sprint fix it if it is a defect of the phone since its less than 2 months old when it doesnt have the extended warranty?
Has no one else run into this problem?
You sure you have an Evo3D? Lol.
I had this exact issue in the same spot on my Evo4G. It was faint and only noticeable on white. Now its noticeable nearly all the time. But I haven't heard of that same issue on the 3D at all.
Yes it is the 3D. I would try taking it into sprint but 1) its rooted, 2) the nearest sprint store is a 50 minute drive away since I don't live near where I bought it and 3) I dont have the TEP so I dont know if it is covered under like a manufactures warranty or anything. The spot is getting worse and I know over time it will be really bad. I can already start to see it even when not viewing a white page. Any light color shows it now.
I had this same issue on several 4g's but never heard of it on the 3d. I would still try to get then to replace the screen, just have a stock looking ROM loaded up and keep your fingers crossed.

Orange vertical steak in camera sensor

I've since returned the affected Rezound, but I was curious if anyone else had this problem or if I just was really unlucky.
Anyway, when I went and swapped my Nexus for the Rezound, I brought the phone home and proceeded to take a pic of my son. I noticed an orange vertical streak when looking at the screen. If I had to guess it was maybe 10 pixels wide o so, pretty noticeable. I checked the resulting picture and sure enough it was there. So it wasn't a screen defect, but something weird with the camera sensor?
Did anyone else happen to get one like that? I'm curious how many had that problem.
Anyway, really loving the Rezound so far. The network reception is leaps and bounds better than the Nexus'. And the screen for video playback in dark rooms is vastly superior (no color banding and artifacts like I had on my Nexus). Happy camper so far!
I've had no issues whatsoever with the Rezound camera. In fact, I love it. I've been able to produce some impressive images this past couple weeks.

Camera issue - I am fed up with S2

Ever since I bought this phone it keeps make me mad, besides screen faults (I have posted screenshot of it few weeks ago here) and looping AF in video, few days ago I noticed a dark ''circle'' while taking photos and videos. It looks like a dust particle is on camera, but I presume the issue is more serious since I have it on every application that uses camera... You can see on the photo attached what I am talking about. Its only visible against one colour background like on this photo.
Anybody has idea what it could be? I don't think its a software problem, it looks more like hardware failure.
Camera issue is a big fault with the s2's. I've got the ugly pink spot! Never seen this one before . Nothing u can really do apart from...exchange it but will probably have another issue :-/.

Defective FaceTime camera

Don't do many selfies but noticed today that I had some abnormalities on my screen. There violet lines on any picture I take, anyone else? Here's a pic with it facing the back of my tablet. Rear camera work's fine. I lost my phone unfortunately and this phone was my replacement through Verizons insurance. I shouldn't have to pay another $200 deductible?
Asurion is sending me another phone, not too impressed with Samsung, my wife's edge had the no auto rotate problem so we exchanged it but her new one has more of a yellow tint to the screen compared to my edge. I wouldn't be happy with it but it's such a long drive and hassle to be that picky she says lol. Hoping for a good one...
when the did the front facing camera get renamed to the "facetime" Camera?
