Pull the battery from the phone then put it back in after a few seconds, then switch on or keep it switched off and connect to pc via usb and use seus or flashtool to repair the phone

Nice tip but the x10 Mini has no "loose" battery.
if this is a "bootloop" you need to use SEUS and redo the whole thing with root and reainstall everything inc. custom ROM.
What you could do with the battery is:
Take back cover off, there is a small rubbery "plug" pry that away from the phone.
Beneath that rubber you can see a white electrical socket.
That socket is connecting the battery to the phone.
That COULD dp the trick. On occassions..

Yeah when I posted it I didn't notice he meant mini, was my bad, flashing with seus is what I also mentioned so can forget pulling the battery part

You can always pres the home and power buttons at the same time, it will do a hard reboot. Pressing the back-button several times when the kernel logo shows up should get you back into xrecovery.
If you need flashmode, press home and power and as soon as the screen goes off (completely black) press the back-button with the usb-cable already attached to your computer and your phone.

Lots of Errors & Reboots

I am desperately need help with my phone. I had installed GingerDX v13 from Cyanogen Froyo CM6 v6.01 and it worked fine except it will reboot every half hour so reinstalled the previous one i was using "Cyanogen Froyo CM6-Latest (based on MiniCM) - v6.01" and did wipe data/factory reset before and after installation from xrecovery (with every new rom install) then restore from Titanium backup as restore all apps and data (not System) and rebooted.
After reboot all problems started. It just gives me Force Close errore one after another and do not stop. If i lock screen, it shows errors in few seconds and if i do not do anything it just reboots. And all cycle statrs again.
I tried to go into recovers at startup by pressing back key after Sony ericson shows up on screen, but no luck.
Can you pleaseeeee help? I installed many updates without problems but this time no luck. My be some commands for abd shell to do factory reset and clear data?
Thanks
Have you tried seus with your phone turned of connect to pc while holding all 3 menu buttons. Ive seen a postsome were in the forum but cant remember were. I think thats how you do it.
Edit found this on a post
Turn the phone off for 30 secs. or so
connect the USB to PC
hold back button
connect USB to phone
the Green LED should light up indicating that the phone is in flash mode, just incase you have to flash your old rom back.

Step 5) HOLD DOWN THE BACK KEY ON THE PHONE AND PLUG THE OTHER END OF THE USB CABLE INTO THE PHONE.

I'll start explaining: I made my SD Card to get an EXT2 partition with MiniTool Partition. After that, I had nothing in SD Card so I flashed a new rom. The problem is I forgot to wipe because I thought that it was already wiped by partitioning the SD card. Now I can't get into recovery/I don't know how to. When my phone boots it gets sticked in Sony Logo
Updated 20 minutes later: Phone doesn't even boots. I'm freaking scared now
ADDITIONAL INFO:
I had the same problem one year ago with my LG Optimus One and I fix it by entering Emergency Mode so I could flash it with some program, if I'm not mistaken. I really don't remember much
Thanks in advance
When you power on, press the volume down button untill you get back on recovery.
If this doesnt work, try to flash original firmware with Flashtool.

I couldn't get into recovery that way. It just doesn't wake up anymore.
When I try flashing stock firmware, Flashtool doesn't recognize the phone and even if I try, it doesn't move from the screen that says:
1 - Unplug the device
2 - Power off the device
3 - Press the back button and hol it
4 - Plug the USB cable

It's not first boot. After flashing the rom, it was like thirty minutes or more, I didn't take the count. So I took the battery off and tried again but it was all the same. 20 minutes later I tried again and it didn't boot anymore
What I was referring to, was this screen (I google it)
I'm sticked here. As my phone doesn't respond, I can't do the 'back button and power on' thing

Probably hard bricked SOLA

Hi
I was using my phone. It suddenly turned off. Now it won't turn on.
When I connect it to a charger there is red light for one second then phone looks dead (no LED, nothing). (normally there was constant red light).
Tried to reset it using buttons, tried connecting it with fastboot mode, flash mode - NOTHING.
What can I do?
Main problem is that this phone is under warranty but it has unlocked bootloader and there was CM9 loaded on it..
take to service centre ,.. if u cant turn it on they cant too
Force off the phone
Volume down plus power button until u feel 3 vibrations
Then dun try to switch on
And try flashing ftf

Device was full bricked with unlocked bootloader via sony site (twice!) and loaded cyanogenmod with custom kernel

How much time did you wait during charging? If less then 2-3vin so just wait a bit more and you''l be able to turn it on. If it will not then try to flash stock FW by flashtool

I tried to flash my phone but when it asks me to press the "back" button and connect to computer it doesn't pass from that point, keeps asking to do that when i am doing it.
Also, when i plug in the phone it says "USB Deviced not recognized"
You need to press and hold while inserting USB cable to your phone.dont let go the hold untill you see the green light

I had back pressed and holded for about five minutes and still nothing happened
So maybe your battery is empty..try recharging with wall charger, and not charging with your PC

-Tried to flash with stock FW, but it isn't even recognized

If you can't enter fastboot / start the phone when battery is removed, I think your phone is broken. I hope for you I'm wrong and someone comes with another idea...
Sent from my Xperia Neo V using xda app-developers app
In my opinion there are two possibilities. Your battery is broken - so you should first borrow it from another neo v user or the part of hardware responsible for charging battery inside the phone is broken so you should try to charge battery offline the phone and after that try to turn on the phone with battery.
I remember seeing a thread which explained how to repair such phones.
Just can't find it.
It surely involves test point.
Try searching for the thread

Strange Bootloop problem

Hi,
So yesterday I wanted to reset my phone because it was getting a bit to laggy. I full reset it through the wizard on the phone and it went in instant bootloop.
I had flashed ICS on my Xperia Sola before and unlocked the bootloader.
I tried googling for some solutions and I followed this solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/general/how-to-resolve-softbrick-upgrade-to-ics-t2023135
But the problem I find is that it just does not work for me. I always get this error on flashtool:

I also tried restoring it with the Sony program but when I try to connect the device I get an error that this cannot be done with a windows 8 computer.
If anyone knows how to fix this I would be so greatfull..
Thanks and kind regards!

Try setting compatibility mode for the programme you are trying to run on windows 8 that don't run

From the flashtool log, your phone seems to connect and instantly disconnect from flash mode. Try using Win 7 with proper driver (flashmode, fastboot and adb) first if you can. Otherwise check your battery too if it depleted.

Got the same on W7, how do I check if the battery is depleted? Since its a hardboxed battery.

try flash any kernel which has RECOVERY, then enter to recovery and give it FULL format, now reflash your ftf or push custom rom and flash

Just press the power on button. If the red led blinking means your battery is low thus you cant boot your device up. If no red led blinking then your battery depleted.
