Hi there. I saw this game on the Market recently and was wondering if anyone has it running on their NCs?
I was able to download it from the market, but it immediately FCs with no additional info. FYI I'm running CM7 n123 with no OC.
Thanks,

Went into market but unable to download. Missing download button... How come you can
Downloaded the Lite version to my phone and pulled the apk over. Did a quick test and started up the tutorial with no force closes.
7.1 RC w/ OC 1200
Additionally, I was not able to download it from the market directly to the NC (hence pulling it from my phone). What version of market do you have? Possibly you still have an older version, not device aware, and were able to download it? I know that after market updates to the newer version, that some applications will not update if the device does not meet the requirements of the application (GPS, etc).
I'm still on the normal market, version 2.3.6 I think. It's definitely not the new one. I was able to download directly from the Market app, but web based Market says incompatible.
Very odd indeed.

After updating to JI6, I'm unable to download and install, sometimes even to find on the market, the Nytimes app.
Perhaps it's connected to my flashing the upgrade via Odin after my OTA attempt failed and I lost all my prior apps and data.
In all events, is there anything I can do to get it back?
Since I rooted my Droid Eris and installed a Froyo rom, I have been unable to find it on the market as well.
I found an older version of it and installed it, but it crashes every time I open it.
I wonder if the app doesn't work on froyo and that's why it's not on the market.
It was on the market as of last week, before I rooted the app and installed Froyo.
I hope someone else can find more information about this.

I have it on my phone running 2.2 - version 1.6.8
I have it too
On froyo 2.2
I've checked the market again (searching for nytimes) and it did not appear. I've installed a few other apps from the market with no problems.
I read that at least one other person was having problems searching for specific apps (although not the nytimes) in the market using the same rom that I'm using, Tazzfroyo I'm guessing that might be the problem for myself, and the same type of problem could be it for the OP as well.
I'll keep you updated.

a ROM does not effect how the market behaves. Google does.
You might be living in another place where the NYTimes app is not being released, for country reasons.
There are apps that others cant see but you can.
There's a app that lets you see all forgot name though

Try this as well as dl appbrain. Some rare occasions I cannot find an app so I browse though appbrain and it links me to the market download. I actually had to dl it with the xda tapatalk app and the sirius app.

Thank you for your suggestions and help.
After clearing the market cache and rebooting; and then installing appbrain [although it did appear in appbrain], The NYTIMES still did not appear in the market.
I then ran the Eris Market Fix (the newest version, v1.7) rebooted - which fixed my problem ! nytimes app finally appeared in the market. =)
I'm in the US so I don't know why the app wouldn't appear in my market before running the market fix...
I recently rooted my Droid Eris and currently am running 2.3.3 on it and was wondering if there is aƱyway to update the market to run applications that were not available on the 2.1 Eris? An example I am trying to install stupid zombies but even the apk file wont let it install.. please help
I'm not sure about that particular app but most apps that can't be found in the market on the Eris are not listed because they aren't compatible with the hardware. That said, some of the apps that can't be found on the market for the Eris can be found on sites like getjar. Not all of them run well or at all though.

If the app is compatible with your phone you can get online also.
Hi guys,
I'm using TNT 4.4, good, rock, solid and stable. (this I means full market registration) It lets me push the app from the Market so I don't have to browse the market from my Gtablet. TNT 4.4 registered it correctly under Maker Malata, Model GTablet TNT Lite..etc
Can anyone of you please let me know which other ROMs register the tablet properly in the Full Market? I remember Vegan ROM can register my tablet properly so it showed in my Market Account Setting the model name, maker...etc
I remembered Cynog or Harmony 7 something, and it never registed in the My Market Account correctly eventhough the App download, search are OK but...
thx,
rcjpth
Vegan Gingerbread RC1 has the full market. I saw mentioned that Google Voice and another program (maybe it was Netflix) were signs that we have the full market and I had both of them.

Did it let you install Netflix? I am running Vegan GB RC1 and when I tried to install Netflix from the market it said my device, identifed as Malata GTab etc. was not compatible.
There is a thread that tells you how to edit your build.prop file to fool it into thinking your tab is an HTC vision, thereby getting the market and netflix working.
A full market does not depend on a rom but on the way the tablet is described in build.prop.
I like to set ro.build.product to olympus myself.
Is there a way for market on our mini's to show apps with bigger resolution? For 2.1 there used to be patched market version which i used and thanks to that i installed Worms which worked perfectly. But now after installing CM7 even when i have them paid i cant see them.
Or some bypass for downloading even incompatible apps from web version of market?
Raise this question again when it's not have been answered.
I think I have about the same problem, when I can't download certain apps from Market and I think it is because of the screen size.
I run MiniCM7 Pro v16 which is Android version 2.3.6, but cant download some lower Android version apps. For example can't I download the apps Philips myRemote, Samsung Remote & Minecraft Pocket edition.
I've cleaned all Market cache & data as well as checked the Market filters.
Can anyone else with a SE X10 Mini Pro with cutom rom download these apps?

Cannot download them but they are on the web market saying that u20i is incompatible. If you know they can work on our devices then your best bet is to download warez versions of them, cant post them here tho due to rules.
Cheers,
Evil.
It's rare that happens, I do not let me install any of the app.
In short, things cooking!
I would like to test the Redux TV apk in my android device. Can someone post a download link or PM me? Thank you!
[A] Redux TV APK!!
mamibg, if you'd still like the Redux TV apk, shoot me an email at "brent [at] redux.com"
Here you go
Here's the Redux TV apk from my Google TV. Just installed it on my ICS Transformer Prime, and it works beautifully. Clicking "open" after installing it took me to my browser (or redux.com on in the app -- not sure), but exiting (force quit) and restarting the app worked perfectly just as though it were running on my Google TV. Massive win. Redux needs to release this in the Play Store.
For the record, I tried installing this on my LG Thrill (GB phone), but it just crashed. I'm guessing it requires honeycomb or higher (ICS for example). I'll try it on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus ... as soon as I get it in the mail. :crying:
Thanks!
Redux is working great on my Android 2.3 Media TV box. Thanks y'all.
anybody have the latest version of this apk?
Where is the update?
I had this "free" app working fine on my LG Esteem then suddenly I am being prompted to "update" the app. The version is still 1.0 but each time I try to access this "free" and "not compatible" app I am being given no options to decline the update and simply use the app as is. Moreover, once i get into the Play store I am unable to update it because the "app isn't compatible with your device". Can the developers please just release this obviously imposed restriction on my device..and can someone PLEASE post the latest updated apk. Thanks:laugh:
Redux TV APK Update
Update attached
Hope to see further updates on the REDUX TV webpage. Google Play Store has branded my Android device incompatible with Redux, but I say nooooooo. It does work with my M3 box!!!!

excellent and thanks, i've got this running on Nexus Q flawlessly.
A little buggy at first, but I was able to get it working on my HP Touchpad running CM9. It didn't want to show the keyboard so I couldn't log in at first, but then it came up randomly and allowed me to log in. Now that I'm logged in it won't be an issue.
latest update?
Can anyone post the latest update? I wished I could purchase this app for my Note 3 but...I have to rely on the cool peeps here.. Thanks in advance.
