I'm using a HD2 running stock 3.14 rom. It has a hardware home button on the button. I'm wondering if it is possible to have a software home button fixed on the taskbar cause the hardware home button is difficult to access with one hand operation. Thanks for any help...

I have the xda developers 1.2 SE rom with jog button on both buttons. Its a very good program but for some reason, now and again when I release the button on my required application it just carries on scrolling through them, and I have to press the button again to stop it. its not a hardware prob (eg Sticking button) cos it does it on both buttons. has any1 had this problem and can it be fixed, or is it me being stupid.
No, it's a bug. Just keep it pressed a little longer, or press it again if you see it sticks...
Does anyone know if there are any registration changes or little programs that will allow me to remap the power button to a program?

I dunno if it allows to remap the power button but aebplus is the most thorough app i've seen in button mapping...
I had a little play with that program in the morning, its very good but unfortunatly doesn allow th epower button to remap.
Close but no biscuit.
I'm affraid you'll have to cook a new rom to remap the power button
as I remember in Aserg's AKU 3.3 (WM5) holding power button for 3 seconds launched psShutXP application
I have TMOUS HD2 with 3.14 ROM with CoOkie's Home Tab 2.0 installed.
I'm having issue with the dialer not showing up, when I press the Talk/Send Key (Green Hardware button on the left hand corner). This problem shows up very frequently and happens when the screen is displaying one of the Sense Tabs.
But if I click "Start" icon and the screen is showing the programs list - now if I press the Talk button, the dialer shows up just fine. Back to Sense and the dialer would not show up, whn I press the Talk button.
Has anybody else seen this issue? Is there is fix for this?
Hi, has anyone experienced this?
When I run Motonav or Igo Primo, there is a big black, non transparent button at the bottom of the screen,
high enough, to cover the OK and BACK buttons, in landscape mode it is still visible in the same position
as above and obstructs about third part of the menu button.
When you install the nav software, the screen is in portrait mode by default and the OK button is only
just visable, maybe half a milimeter, it is very hard to do anything
Has anyone have a solution to thi issue?
Settings, display and buttons, recent apps button, third option...

Hi Stereo8, I did press it, for some reason your thanks meter didn't change,
the Thanks button disapeared.
Edit. It worked this time it looks, that I had some non-script options enabled.
Has anyone experienced the HOME key acting as a back key? The button just started acting up out of the blue. When I press the Home button, the phone behaves as if i pressed the back button instead of taking me to the Home screen.
Ive already tried editing the key layout files "generic.kl", Flashed different stock roms and I'm out of ideas on how to fix this. Any help and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.
